I've been a T-mobile customer for 18 years. I have multiple family lines, home internet services,…read moreand pay my bill on time. I would highly recommend T-mobile for phone and internet services, however, I would not recommend the Blue Springs location as their customer service is terrible. In addition to long wait times and terrible parking, many staff members lack basic customer service skills and ethics. Unfortunately, this has not occurred on one occasion but several times. Most recently, I was encouraged by their store manager to commit insurance fraud as their store did not want to get dinged with a warranty claim. I followed the correct steps shared by T-mobile's technical team for a warranty claim, and my new phone was shipped to this location. I received a notification the phone had arrived and drove to this location for pick up. Upon arrival, the manager stated they would not give me the phone as T-mobile had implemented a new policy and their store gets dinged $500 for warranty claims. I stated I had been without the phone for two days and really needed it. I was told they would not be giving me the phone and that I should've said there was damage and claimed it through insurance instead. Fortunately, I do have a conscious and don't lie for personal gain. Drive the extra miles and go to Independence or Lee's Summit.

When I peeled the protective covering off the glass I noticed the charging port was did not match to a c-charger as described. I did not make any attempt to turn the phone on nor activate it. I went to the AT&T store to for an exchange, as how am I to use a phone with a defective charging port. When purchasing the phone and the required installment plan (otherwise the store refused to order the phone for me) I was not one time notified that I had only 14 days to return or exchange. I did not sign nor see any documents during this agreement. They in turn gave me the customer service number and I left the store. I later returned to the store with correct four digit code for account and I was told my new phone had "network" activity on March 5th and they could not help me. They basically told me to fuck off and did not want to help me. How can I have network activity if I have not even turned the device on nor activate it? 7 hours later I have been hitting dead end after dead end. Manufacturer's warrantee will not cover. Asurion will not replace device since it has been past 14 days of purchase. I'm a healthcare worker and I need a working phone for call dammit. This whole situation has been a nightmare. I want my activation fee and installment agreement canceled. I will be disputing the sales tax on this phone I purchased that I cannot use. I will take my number to Tmobile instead and am actively entering a dispute with the Better Business Bureau.

Waring Pro told me to kick rocks, and the next option was $60. So after a lot of research, I heard tell of a place akin to a radio shack, but more Costco than Shack - and a whole lotta radio. Electronics Supply - been around for over 60 years - is just a wonderful place for the tinkerer with electronics repair needs. There's an upstairs and a downstairs, a gaggle of extremely helpful staff, and they even have the curmudgeons of yore - those gentlemen of too much knowledge, and not enough cares - answer any question gladly, but stays in their chair, and hardly look at you while doing it. This place is a rarefied necessity of any advanced municipality with the capacity for ordering online. Honestly, these guys seemingly have anything an everything you can imagine - and they're very helpful to boot, which in this time of online garbage is welcomed necromancy! I bought a thermal fuse; I didn't know what I needed, but they did. They discussed the part in question, haggled over the possibilities, pulled it from the expansive selection in back, and after an entire dollar seventy five, I was out the door! I installed it, and viola! Waffles! I'm just over-the-moon excited about the possibilities! They have myriad tools and components, security systems and computer parts, and if you venture downstairs, you've ventured into the realm of commercial electrical supplies. Among a million other items, there is a full-blown server setup for sale, conduit for days, and any bracket, housing, cable, wire, transistor or capacitor you can manifest from your imagination. It's an electronics supply, but it's more than that. Like the armory or granaries of yore, this is a downright necessity of civilization in the heart of downtown Kansas City. I'll definitely be back for things and stuff. You should too! It's a shame more people aren't able to fix their own stuff anymore, and that number is shrinking. Thanks to the Electronics supplies of the world - a right contrivance of practicality in such the weary world of toss it and buy another.
