Repaired screen with tempered glass.
Pam A.

Eek! I dropped my iPhone 6S for the last time. SetCell was very responsive via Yelp with a quote for a screen repair...and it was competitive. Customer service was lacking but, they got the job done. My phone practically looks brand new. Tip: They're located directly across from Pickleman's and Insomnia cookies. It was difficult to see the store name behind the trees.

Elizabeth T.

Looked them up on Yelp, was hesitant but decided to send a direct message to the company asking for pricing "iPhone 6plus screen replacement, clean of camera lenses" I was quoted $40 for entire request. When I arrived I was told no it's $160ish and additional $40, I informed the employee that's not what my direct quote was, and I had seen other reviews of people getting misquotes and then showing up and getting a totally different price. I showed her the yelp direct message and she stated "well it was a misunderstanding." For me being the 2nd review of someone stating they had driven an extended distance and did not get the service they expected due to their "misunderstanding" is unacceptable. I personally will not do business with them nor will I forward any business that way.

My horribly cracked screen looks new again!

I've never broken a phone before and was very overwhelmed when I severely cracked my screen on my iPhone 6S. SetCell quickly gave me a quote and time estimate via Yelp message. It was about $150 to fix my screen, which was much cheaper than paying my phone insurance deductible or all the other stores I had gotten a quote from. The staff was very friendly, and my phone was done in under and hour!

My experience was great! My phone was acting really weird and then locked up. When I tried to reset…read moreit I couldn't get it to reset. Kevin worked on it for about 10 minutes and now it's working better than before. He didn't charge me anything for the time he spent. He is now replacing the battery in an old, but very usable laptop. He'll get all of my electronics repair business from now on. I'll also go back for a newer used phone which he also has available..

Completely unprofessional and broke my SIM reader during a simple battery replacement…read more I brought my phone here specifically to have the battery and the charging port replaced. The phone worked perfectly fine otherwise; because the charging port was loose, I had simply been using a wireless charger for over a year, and I just wanted a fresh battery that held a charge longer. While they had my phone, they called me to claim my storage was full and asked if they could delete some of my games. I asked why they were even accessing my internal storage for a strictly physical hardware repair, and the woman immediately got very defensive. I explicitly told them to just do the work I requested. They then sent me photos claiming to show "water damage" on an internal chip. However, the photos showed absolutely no identifying details--no IMEI number or serial number--so I have no way of knowing if those pictures even came from my actual device. When I picked up my phone, it immediately showed a "Not Connected to Network" error. I pulled out the SIM tray and discovered my physical SIM card wasn't even in its slot; it was just floating loose on top of the tray. I have tried to re-seat the SIM card properly into the tray slot seven different times. Every single time I slide the tray back into the phone, something inside catches the card and forces it out of place, causing it to come unseated and lose network connection. When I called to report that my network connection and SIM reader were broken by their technicians, they casually just told me to bring it back. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of professionalism, the unauthorized access to my storage, and the fact that a simple battery swap resulted in a phone that now cannot connect to a cellular network. Avoid this place. UPDATE they would claim no responsibility for anything. They said my phone was like that when it came in which is a gd lie. They know it and it know it. Better business bureau and Missouri Attorney General office is my next step after flooding the internet with this review. 2nd Update Took my phone to another repair shop who discovered that not on my had they broke the antenna inside so it could not make calls or messages, the battery they supposedly replaced is either faulty or they damaged it too. It will not charge above 1% on either a wireless or a direct cord connection and it gets extremely hot. Too hot to touch so ihad to unplug it to prevent a possible explosion of the battery. I ended up having to buy a new phone for $1299 because of their horrible service. They got pissed because I called them out on going through my phone so I guess they decided to get back. Look who's laughing now. I can afford a new phone. They're going to have to deal with the attorney general's office and the better business bureau as I have filled complaints with both. Plus they can deal with the loss of business from my reviews posted on TRUSTPILOT, YELP, GOOGLE,NEXT DOOR. People do look at reviews. As soon as I find more places to post reviews I will be doing so. So there TXK.

I tried the Apple store first. Because the frame was slightly bent, they wouldn't touch it. They…read morewould replace it for $150 more than what I paid to have Walter repair it. Relieved. This is the first time I tried such a service. Wasn't sure what I would get. Walter was very professional and arrived at the agreed time and did a thorough check prior to the repair as well as AFTER the repair so I could be assured it was fixed. Very much worth it.

So my son comes in the house with a sick look on his face. Grumbles. "I totally cracked my iPhone…read morescreen." More grumbling ensues. He then says he was playing some basketball. With his phone in his pocket. This is what happens to someone with not a lot of common phone sense. Oh man... I do a quick Yelp search. There are several to choose from but they are either 45 minutes south, or they are close by but closed already. It is, after all, late afternoon on a Saturday. I find a listing for iCracked. Close by, will come to your location (or meet up somewhere close), and open until 8 pm on a Saturday! I give Kevin a call, he quotes me a price. We agree to meet at a nearby restaurant. After some paperwork, he quotes us a 40-45 minute time frame and a price of $115 for complete repair service. After we had a quick dinner elsewhere, we met back up with Kevin. He explains in detail what he has done, administers a few tests to the phone in our presence, explains the warranty (iCracked has its own warranty on their repair) and lets us know that the button will not "click" like it used to, just to give us the heads up. There was an additional $20 charge for a specific part that popped off when the screen was removed, so it ended up being higher than quoted at $135. Kevin is an independent representative for iCracked and I would recommend him fully. The convenience of calling someone at home to meet you 45 minutes later and then have your phone repaired in less than an hour is a fantastic service! He takes cash, check, CC and Paypal. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs it! Hopefully you won't, but the reality is, you might! And if you do, give Kevin a call. Tip: Don't play basketball in your concrete driveway while wearing sweat pants with your phone (with no protective phone case) in your pocket. It will only lead to calling Kevin. Which he would actually like. But you may not. :) But at least iCracked makes it a short term predicament!
