In the end, he couldn't accept the repair request due to my carrier (which I understand is outside of his control), so I left and shipped my phone in to Google. When I got the phone back, the letter said the microphone, back glass, and battery all needed to be replaced. It wasn't the power button itself at all. I brought my laptop in because the keyboard wasn't working after reinstalling windows. They called me a few days later saying the battery doesn't work anymore and they were going to take it apart and do all this other stuff. The battery was fine and didn't end up being replaced or anything, but it had been sitting around uncharged for about 3 months. I told him it probably needs to be plugged in overnight and he started arguing with me over the phone about how that doesn't matter and I don't know what I'm talking about it. He said that only applies to car batteries. I convinced him to at least try it before replacing anything, and lo and behold, it charged and turned on. Lithium ion batteries can lose capacity if left uncharged for too long. That is simply a fact. When I went to pick up my laptop the next day the price was DOUBLE what I was originally quoted because the worker did a bunch of completely unnecessary work on the innards of the laptop when all that needed to be done was a reinstall of the original Acer software and drivers. They even admitted as much but still insisted on charging me for the work. On my original visit we were discussing a few upgrades that I was doing on my PC and they were going to install the parts for me when they arrived from Amazon, but after the fiasco with my laptop I will NEVER give them any business ever again. They lost a customer for life just so they could rip me off for $80 dollars. Disgraceful.

When I tried to cancel they told me I only had 15 days to return my router and now in order to cancel I have to pay them $300 to purchase their router. I had no idea their service was going to stink until day 28 when they turned the data faucet off. STAY AWAY!
