    11.6.25 I am now a true believer of two things. Phone repair…read moreplaces in the mall and the cloud backing up your information. My phone inadvertently got wiped clean back to reset mode. I lost thousands of previous photos, info and dozens of contacts. Supposedly no way to get this stuff back. My screen stopped working. Couldn't do anything on my phone. Couldn't look at anything on my phone nor make calls. I was dead in the water for a couple of days. I went to a verizon store and they were the ones who reset my phone by mistake. Yeah that's a hard one to swallow for me. I'll be remembering that one for quite some time. I digress, so later this same rainy day last week on the day of Halloween I went to this store for help. I am still amazed at what they did. First of all, I didn't get anything back on my phone but I've been able to access it and use it once again. Secondly these guys are done serious techno wizards. They just happen to have a samsung galaxy S9 that has a minor screen issue that they wound be able to install and get me going for least amount of money out of pocket. Or they could order a brand new one and have it the following day. Well, as many of us know it's difficult to do things without our phones these days. And how quickly i found out for the first time in my life. I've never experienced anything like this. I hadn't realized how much easier they make things for us. For even the simplest thing of using an app on your phone to do your banking vs. going in through the website. I opted for them to switch that S9 slightly blemished screen onto mine. Yeah, you can stop laughing now. No, seriously, stop laughing. Ahaha, it's OK, I'm also laughing at how old my phone is. 7 years I've had this baby. I'll be changing to a brand new one this week. So then you can stop laughing. The store is an average small store like in most malls. Easy in and out by the I Hop entrance and then right next to T Mobile. They had me in and out with a screen in under a half hour. Wam, bang boom. These guys really are an amazing bunch of people. I asked the main guy I dealt with because I wanted to give him a shout out but he declined me using his name. I of course respected his privacy and am leaving it out. But this store deserves your business and respect. They do a fantastic job. They know what they're doing and they're not blowing smoke up your hind quarter saying this and that. They tell you what they can do for you or can't with a possible other option. They give your the price and let you decide. No high pressure tactics or anything like that. Their prices are reasonable too. Just as important as their work. Like I said, I'm a true believer in these places now when I used to think they were hacks. Not by a long shot. They're respectable people working hard to gain your trust and your business and the do it with humility. Absolutely amazing quality work from you guys. Thank you for getting me back up and running. Thank you thank you. Appreciate you all :-)

Apparently, while this is true they did not explain the process properly to us. A month later, we get the bill from our original company saying we owe $198 on a phone that we were told was paid out. The associate at T-Mobile never told us that it was paid out to us and that we had to go online to redeem. We had worked with her THREE times prior to switching over and she told us the same thing each time. She never said the trade in credit was deducted from the amount we would have received from the buy out. Today we met with Chassidy who basically assumed we were stupid and didn't acknowledge the mistake of her coworker. No apology even for miscommunication which would have been nice. She talked so fast it was hard to even understand what she wanted us to do to rectify a situation that wasn't even our fault to begin with. My husband and I are educated people, he has a bachelors degree and I have a masters degree. We would have followed the steps if Whil had told us the first time when we were there for 3 hours to switch over which was a nightmare to begin with. Today, my husband followed the steps right then and there because that's just the kind of people we are.

He thought it would be easy to go to the AT&T store to get them to try and fix his phone, unfortunately they told him he would just need a new phone. Not only that, Krystal somehow conned him into opening a NEW line for the phone and told him he'd have to GIVE UP HIS PHONE NUMBER. What the heck? It is disgusting that they would take advantage of an elderly veteran in this way. I had to deal with corporate to get the phone returned and reverse the $200+ in activation fees that were applied to every line on the family plan. To boot, Krystal added an insurance plan to the phone which my father had adamantly said he didn't want. Ridiculous. Worst part of the whole matter was that all his phone needed was a factory reset!

    Terrible service. I had to make 3 visits and 4 phone calls to get a very simple issue resolved,…read morewhich was their error in the first place. I only got it resolved over the phone by demanding to speak to a supervisor. The store kept telling me there was nothing they could do and I should just buy a new phone. The resolution? Just use the last four digits of my phone number. SO SIMPLE. They actually informed me that they turned a previous customer away who had the same problem with NO RESOLUTION. At the beginning of my third visit, the person at the door who I believe was the GM, told me very curtly, it would be 30 minutes before I could speak to someone. And what would I like him to do? After all, it was the "busiest day of the year." (Black Friday was yesterday). When he came back over to me, I again let him know I was very annoyed with the entire situation. His response while walking away was, "Yeah we all are, it's the holidays". Why are you at work sir? You're getting cut a pay check to speak to people this way. The best part of this is I'm a corporate Customer Relations Manager by profession. I would never dish this attitude to a client and would have delivered a very serious write up to one of my GMs if they did. Long story short - The people at Verizon were fabulous. Save yourself the aggravation.
