This location is a hub for so many towns. It's understaffed, and T-Mobile is taking advantage of them too. They do have attitudes, though, but it's T-Mobile that is pitting us against them when we NEED TO STAND TOGETHER AGAINST EXPLOITATIVE corporations. SWITCH to USMobile. The CEO is a Pakistani-American CITIZEN who lives in CT. Its HQ is in NYC, where the largest concentration of their salaried staff is located. Many of their online service reps are in Pakistan, so when you call (there's a time difference), you'll wait about 25 minutes for a rep because they are working from home. I believe they get paid per call, even. All this keeps the bill low. I pay $44./month unlimited talk, text, and DATA!!! I'm a data goblin using my BYOP iPhone 17 Pro, 1 terabyte, and it's an Apple refurbished phone bought on Amazon with an installment plan. So no taxes, fees, sports contributions, all the muck that inflates your bill. Pay Netflix separately so you can control when you want to stop or restart your contracts. By bundling different company services, YOU LOSE CONTROL.
I finally finished my contract, and I can't even pay my last bill because my old account code doesn't work anymore, so I can't access my past bills, my current balance, or anything. I can't log in at all because I switched to a different company before the contract even ended, and I was BYOP. My two family members' phones were still on the plan, but in those last two months of the account, I couldn't even see my bills. T-Mobile wasn't sending me paper bills anymore after I took my BYOP to another carrier, and then they locked out my online PIN! Now I couldn't go online to switch back to paper bills or even set up a new PIN, even though I was the account holder (heads up, parents). So I was still the responsible account holder, my phone was already switched to a different carrier, two family members were still on the account, and I couldn't even see the bills I was responsible for paying. Then I had to go to the store to pay, and now that the account is finished and the final bill is due (they texted me) a month after it was closed and everyone had switched. I still can't log onto the account, and I still cannot see the bills anymore! All I have is the account number to pay the bill, and I have to pay $5.00 USD to do that in the store, whether you pay with cash, debit, or credit.
T-Mobile has made their so-called security an absolute lockout, even for current customers. I started a contract with trade-ins as some other people did, and no one told me I had to go online to send the trade-ins. I finally went down to the store and had them take the trade-ins. Then I never got credit for the trade-ins.
I still gotta deal with them on that, and halfway through my two-year contract they dropped off my Veterans discount. Online service reps tell me I have to go back to them with those bills to show I started with my Veterans discount because they said they were never told I was a veteran! Folks, you don't ever stop being a veteran, so how could they take my discount? But they don't know me. I keep ALL THE RECEIPTS.
So now I gotta go collect all those first bills and get a lawyer. It was like a $100/month discount on a $297/month bill. I mean, this whole company is not consumer-friendly. It is antagonistic. It is hostile to customers. It's just for the big movie stars in television ads, but it's not for us. You can do better at USMobile. Please make the switch; drop this company. Let's make them close down. read more
