Terrible service here... they're like used car salesmen. I pay for a family plan for my parents to have phones, and my elderly father was having issues with his. He thought it would be easy to go to the AT&T store to get them to try and fix his phone, unfortunately they told him he would just need a new phone. Not only that, Krystal somehow conned him into opening a NEW line for the phone and told him he'd have to GIVE UP HIS PHONE NUMBER. What the heck? It is disgusting that they would take advantage of an elderly veteran in this way. I had to deal with corporate to get the phone returned and reverse the $200+ in activation fees that were applied to every line on the family plan. To boot, Krystal added an insurance plan to the phone which my father had adamantly said he didn't want. Ridiculous. Terrible service. I had to make 3 visits and 4 phone calls to get a very simple issue resolved, which was their error in the first place. I only got it resolved over the phone by demanding to speak to a supervisor. The store kept telling me there was nothing they could do and I should just buy a new phone. The resolution? Just use the last four digits of my phone number. SO SIMPLE. They actually informed me that they turned a previous customer away who had the same problem with NO RESOLUTION. At the beginning of my third visit, the person at the door who I believe was the GM, told me very curtly, it would be 30 minutes before I could speak to someone. And what would I like him to do? After all, it was the "busiest day of the year." (Black Friday was yesterday). When he came back over to me, I again let him know I was very annoyed with the entire situation. His response while walking away was, "Yeah we all are, it's the holidays". Why are you at work sir? You're getting cut a pay check to speak to people this way. The best part of this is I'm a corporate Customer Relations Manager by profession. I would never dish this attitude to a client and would have delivered a very serious write up to one of my GMs if they did. Long story short - The people at Verizon were fabulous. My husband went to AT&T with my kids and my kids are 10 years old and under as soon as I walk towards the door, I call over a lady and it seems like the lady was having a bad day so my husband tried to go probably a little easy on her but then my husband starts talking to her. She tries to correct him and talks over himand then she gets to. She doesn't have any patience with my husband finishing his sentence my husband tries to call over the manager and then she ends up calling security saying that my husband is a threat. P, my husband gets somebody on the phone to proof to show the proof of what happened and then she just talks over my husband saying that he's just lying. and she was saying nasty nasty words to my husband. and again, remember, I have children that work with him. when they get home and they tell me everything in the disrespect that they have just witnessed and gone through I ended up calling them and I asked the person to give the phone to the lady that she can apologize after the huge like the nasty, nasty words and disrespect that she had just gave my husband and my two kids. The phone I end up talking to her and she's like excuse me man I didn't say that in like she ended up hanging up in my face and it was really really bad. Avoid the at&t Waterbury mall store. I went there today to purchase the iPhone 12. At&t has a promotion where customers can trade in their iPhone 7. I asked to have the salesman Benjamin O. transfer the data today so I can leave the trade-in there today. He told me I had to do my own transfer and bring in my trade within 30 days. I told Benjamin I still wanted the iPhone 12. He showed me where I had to sign to complete the transaction. He put my receipt in my bag with the new Iphone 12 and I left. When I got home I noticed the bill was significantly higher. Benjamin added Protect Advantage Support and Insurance for $15.00 per month. He also added AT&T Next Up to all three lines on my data plan. I am 100% positive I did not ask for these additional plans to be added. I am also positive the salesman never mentioned or showed me these changes to my account. What a low-life salesman is that crams charges to a customer's bill without their knowledge or consent. I am done with that store and will not buy another phone from at&t again! read more

I give 4 stars for when Chris is there. He always gives me a few options to think about before making a decision I'll be stuck with for 2 years. He's not pushy and is very patient with his customers. He acknowledges the next customer by thanking them for their patience and letting them know he will be with them soon after. I go in frustrated and come out pleased. Horrible service and their workers here at the Waterbury Brass Mills Mall are untrained and unprofessional! Ordered a new phone Monday on the 6th of July 2020 and was told this was to be in on Thursday the 9th so it had not, no big deal because I saw an update saying it would be Friday or Saturday at the latest. Saturday could Ned and AT&T along with Fed Ex had no idea where it was. So now I had already paid 55.00 the first round for the tax and delivery because the main price of the phone would be added in my monthly bills broken down. So here it is Saturday, I had to put up yet another 55.00 dollars and re-order from scratch and now will have to wait 5-10 more business days! So it turned out that either AT&T or Fed Ex screwed up the label address so the phone was sent back to the warehouse. What it was is that the shipping label said my name with the malls address to the store address number but because it was my name and not the name AT&T on the title first line the Fed Ex driver did not even attempt to follow through by asking someone at the store by bringing it there. Worst case scenario the store can call me to tell me it is there. So Fed Ex is the AT&T malls primary delivery and pickup I am disappointed that there was this issue! Lastly the final nail in the coffin was I had added a new line last Monday and I was already billed for the new number and phone and still do not have it! My point is AT&T screwed up because the label was only able to be created by the store representative to send to the warehouse which in turn is used on package for Fed Ex then the Rep. told me that is how they create the label with the personal buyers name but with the store address?! So who's the jerks here? Am I being lied to to calm me down a bit or is Fed Ex to be blamed for not properly training their delivery drivers to regularly understand to still absolutely deliver the package to the store address regardless of an individual persons name as the 1st line?!!! So to sum it up I have no phone yet and I am still billed with a new number I can not even use plus another 55.00 charge and I feel I was lied to on the stores screw up and now have to wait up to two more weeks for the phone to come around full circle! They were so pathetically ignorant at the store that I bet they will still screw things up! After this I would not wish my worst enemy to go to AT&T ever again let alone myself! Pathetically bad and stressful experience! Fed Ex sucks too! read more

We had a fab experience Mark the boss was so much Fun and Beatriz she was the customer service rep that helped me buy 2 phones! Wow Mark treated us really good! The wait time always stinks. You could probably do best if you make an appointment online. Otherwise you may have to hang out for a few hours. They lost a few stars bc after taking my union information and giving the bill a discount 2 weeks later they took it away! Come on At&t do better! Ordered a phone online for pickup to the Waterbury mall store. The store sales man cancelled the order in order to get credit/commission for the sale (we found this out later) which set off an incredibly stressful 2 week process of daily phone calls with customer service and 2 unnecessary trips to the store (we live over an hour away). They refused to provide us a receipt or any paperwork, insisted they had nothing to do with turning in the trade in phone (they had apparently printed the return label and lost it, and it was too much trouble for them to reprint it.) it took escalating the issue to corporate for a resolution to be found, a return label sent to us, the old phone returned, and a proper receipt proving we paid for the new phone to be provided to us. During one phone call to the store during which I repeatedly asked to speak to Chris the manager who had just turned my spouse away (att customer service told him he needed to go to the store for them to close the order and print the return label once they closed the order) I was told he was on another call and would have to call back. Well, the sales rep who took the call neither muted the phone nor put me on hold so I could hear the entire conversation with Chris the manager who said "sounds like a real bitch" and "tell her we can't help her and I had to step out and am not in the store." We will be sticking with att for now but will be using Best Buy mobile services going forward, I don't think I'll ever set foot in an att store again. If I thought another cell phone company actually had better customer service I'd switch immediately. read more

this att store is great, they saved me a bunch of money when is switched from tmobile and got me a brand new iPhone 7 plus last year. when i broke my phone i thought i had insurance but i guess i never set it up but needless to say, they recommended me to the kiosk in the food court to fix my phone and they had it fixed in like 20 minutes. thanks att you guys are the best read more
