He thought it would be easy to go to the AT&T store to get them to try and fix his phone, unfortunately they told him he would just need a new phone. Not only that, Krystal somehow conned him into opening a NEW line for the phone and told him he'd have to GIVE UP HIS PHONE NUMBER. What the heck? It is disgusting that they would take advantage of an elderly veteran in this way. I had to deal with corporate to get the phone returned and reverse the $200+ in activation fees that were applied to every line on the family plan. To boot, Krystal added an insurance plan to the phone which my father had adamantly said he didn't want. Ridiculous. Worst part of the whole matter was that all his phone needed was a factory reset!

I only got it resolved over the phone by demanding to speak to a supervisor. The store kept telling me there was nothing they could do and I should just buy a new phone. The resolution? Just use the last four digits of my phone number. SO SIMPLE. They actually informed me that they turned a previous customer away who had the same problem with NO RESOLUTION. At the beginning of my third visit, the person at the door who I believe was the GM, told me very curtly, it would be 30 minutes before I could speak to someone. And what would I like him to do? After all, it was the "busiest day of the year." (Black Friday was yesterday). When he came back over to me, I again let him know I was very annoyed with the entire situation. His response while walking away was, "Yeah we all are, it's the holidays". Why are you at work sir? You're getting cut a pay check to speak to people this way. The best part of this is I'm a corporate Customer Relations Manager by profession. I would never dish this attitude to a client and would have delivered a very serious write up to one of my GMs if they did. Long story short - The people at Verizon were fabulous. Save yourself the aggravation.

Apparently, while this is true they did not explain the process properly to us. A month later, we get the bill from our original company saying we owe $198 on a phone that we were told was paid out. The associate at T-Mobile never told us that it was paid out to us and that we had to go online to redeem. We had worked with her THREE times prior to switching over and she told us the same thing each time. She never said the trade in credit was deducted from the amount we would have received from the buy out. Today we met with Chassidy who basically assumed we were stupid and didn't acknowledge the mistake of her coworker. No apology even for miscommunication which would have been nice. She talked so fast it was hard to even understand what she wanted us to do to rectify a situation that wasn't even our fault to begin with. My husband and I are educated people, he has a bachelors degree and I have a masters degree. We would have followed the steps if Whil had told us the first time when we were there for 3 hours to switch over which was a nightmare to begin with. Today, my husband followed the steps right then and there because that's just the kind of people we are.

I had purchased a phone online and…read moreasked to switch over to Simple Mobile from Boost, he then rolled his eyes and began asking me questions why I wanted to switch over, and every answer I gave him, he seemed more impatient and started recommending phones he could sell to me that were "better". I respectfully declined; as he took my phone he typed something into his computer and said my phone did not work and there was a problem with the previous phone carrier remarking about how a bill had not been paid. He offered to sell me a phone again. I did not purchase the phone; I decided to just pay the bill on my phone I currently have and see if i could order a new phone online. Because I had a gut feeling something was not right with this story, I decided to call T-Mobile and it turns out that there were no problems with the phone. The man working there had either made a mistake or lied to us! Judging from the other negative things I've recently heard about the store it is apparent he lied. Mainly because he was rude and only wanted to make a profit. I talked to my family/friends and turns out they have gone there and had similar experiences, and the problem leads to management as well. Chance is, when you bring your own phone, the workers there will then say it has a problem and try to just sell you something. It's a scam and a cheap sales strategy. DO NOT GO THERE. PLEASE SHARE THIS.

WE will be discontinuing our service for next billing cycle.. due to poor and inadequate service and not to mention poor quality phones.. dropped calls, stactic calls, unlimited services that are not truly unlimited, hidden fee that are connected to late payments ($10.00) and just plain poor inadequate service. If I was you I would RUN!! in the opposite direction to an actual phone service company who actually stands by the service that they provide to their customers. Because cricket does not give the service that they falsely claim to give. I only had service with Cricket for approximately a month before I found out that the service they provide is not up to standards of other cellphone companies . So if you like throwing away your hard earned money for garbage services. Then by all means knock yourself out.. if you value where and how you spend your money then you should go to a more reputable phone company and spend that few extra $ for better quality service..     So disappointed. In the beginning every encounter with the staff was pleasant. However when I went…read morereturn my third NS system that did not work, a man walked in name Nelson, clearly already angry about something previously and was aggressive, calling me a liar, saying I was mean to all his staff and rude, staying I'm trying to get over on him. I was so appalled when I specifically said the staff was sweet and pleasant. I informed him he must have me confused with someone else and story lines intertwined. He was loud, infantile, extremely unprofessional. When I asked him for store credit, he continued to say I did not pay 120 when I absolutely did. He, like a child goes show me then, I said I will, I will return with the bank statement, he continues go I'll wait and when I said I could not at that moment because I do not have my phone on me, he sarcastically goes how convenient! - I was disgusted and stated I'm no longer discussing this with you because you are clearly immature and acting very infantile and I do hope you grow. He continued with sarcasm and not completing out my store credit, I repeatedly said, please just get me store credit thank you, again and again until finally I stopped him and said, Can You Stop?! Gesh! I said im no longer discussing this with you, you clearly do not know how to be professional. Again- all in front of my child. He finally goes, we need the controllers back, which I am very confused about since I purchased the controllers with the original purchase. Needless to say I'm disgusted by this "mans" behavior, and has for the staff, with whom he goes to me " so your saying they are lying?"
