It came two to an order and I think I could've eaten 77. Unbelievably delicious. So I'm thinking, maybe this is gonna go OK. Then we shared a toro smash burger and a squid ink pasta. The burger had to be the best burger I have ever eaten in my life and, y'all, I eat a lot of burgers. I am a burger aficionado. I'm one of those crazy people that drives across the country to eat at top-rated burger joints. Anyway, that burger truly has ruined burgers for me (I promptly told all my young'ns that I've got to take them to eat the best burger I've ever eaten- pronto). And the squid ink pasta, wow. We tried a number of different cocktails, including the Headhunter, Xanadu, London press, lemon ginger NA, and poco loco. Personally, I had the headhunter and Poco Loco. The headhunter was yummy, but not special enough to order again. The Poco Loco, however, was unique and delicious with the habanero infusion so present and the foamy top giving it a melt in your mouth texture. I didn't have my readers on me and had a hard time reading the menu. So her describing some of the cocktails to me was very helpful. Dogwood has a number of classic drinks, margaritas and martinis. Some of the fun names that I saw were Thor's Hammer, D Cup, Porch Song, Mr. Pink and Beetnik. I ordered the Headhunter and enjoyed my drink.
