When staying here you have access to all the amenities at Big Cedar Lodge, but we stuck to the lake and the marina at Long Creek during our stay. They have a few activities onsite at the Cliffs, mainly crafts. I was too busy fishing to participate this time. We will be back for sure for a future visit.

Great deck looking out over the valley and a smidgen of the lake. It only has 2 chairs so you may consider bringing more if necessary. Fully stocked kitchen except for spices. I do recommend bringing your own salt/pepper, paper plates and cups so you do not have to use theirs and thus wash the dishes. The only marginal thing is the showers in both bathrooms are very tiny and cramped unless you are a smaller but adequate and hot water was fast to come on. Master bedroom has a king and is large in size. The other bedroom has a queen and the window is right next to the stairs to the upper unit. We did not need to use the awesome fireplace but it looks cool for a winter's stay. This location is 2 turns away from the Silver Dollar City exit. You are 15 minutes at the most from getting parked at SDC. Great location for trips to SDC. Downtown Branson for Paula Deens, Bass Pro etc is 20 minutes or so away.

Pizza World has fantastic pizza, coffee and ice cream. Everywhere we went it was so clean. I loved the communication by text about the weather and having to close pools and lake area for the safety of the visitors. Having a washer and dryer in the room was great, especially with little ones always spilling something on their clothes. The only negative things I can say was there was no sandy beach by the lake. Our grandkids would've loved that especially when walking into the lake. Bring water shoes because those rocks are sharp and are really hard to walk on. For the activities they are offer I wish it was listed on the paper where the activity was held at and the cost of each one. Also list on your website to bring paper products like paper towels, Kleenex and toilet paper (1 roll is in each bathroom), Food containers and plastic wrap. We reserved a 2 bedroom condo. The front room with windows facing the parking lot and walkway had 2 beds which the children would be sleeping in. I had a weird feeling and checked the windows. Thankful that I did because all the windows were unlocked. The jacuzzi was dirty. Several spiders and flies inside the condo. The refrigerator made a loud noise the entire time making it hard to hear the TV. The washer was also very loud. We had to have our keycards reactivated several times. When I was getting them reactivated one of the times, the staff handed me the cards back which I grabbed with my left hand that had an iWatch on the wrist. She said it's probably deactivated again now. They should have a better system. The condo was not stocked. There was 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a 6 day stay and 5 people. There were no paper towels. The grass was not cut outside of our patio so the kids couldn't play and there was a dirty beach towel lying in front of the patio. Unfortunately we will not be back nor would we recommend this resort, which to be frank, is not a resort

My parents own a condo there, and we went up for thanksgiving and rented a condo near theirs through TRR. 2.5 weeks after our stay, we received a voicemail from the resort saying they were sending us to collections for damage to the condo. We left this condo better than when we got it... and not only that but we found out the "cleaner" that claims we damaged the door of the owners closet is related to one of the employees of the resort, and the owners family member who was the next renter "confirmed" the damage. The pictures of the door confirmed we would not have been able to even know that the door was damaged (it was a locked closet, probably filled with toilet paper). Our entire stay there were kids 16-21 years old staying around us with multiple unauthorized dogs, doing drugs in the parking lot, and being obnoxiously loud. The resort proceeded to charge my credit card without permission for the supposed repair costs. I have disputed and filed fraud with USAA. Unbelievable inconvenience and horribly unprofessional. This resort lies to its condo owners, fraudulently charges guests, and is a nightmare to deal with. Stay far away.

The owners, Chris and Sheri could not have been more accommodating and made the reunion a more enjoyable experience all the way around. The views from the cabins were beautiful. Nicely furnished and cleaned. The large grills and picnic tables under the pavilion were great for cooking for everyone and eating as the food came off. A walk down to the docks was not far at all. A swing and ladder made it great for sitting there and watching the swimmers. Ice cream parlor opened every night was a treat after a long day.
