I called in before hand to make an appointment for a mani with gel polish and they took me in within 20 minutes. There was no wait. I was paired with Miley. Well, she sure came in like a wrecking ball on my poor nails when she was filing them down. I told her I wanted an oval shape and let me just say she was filing down the sides of my nails thin! To the point that she began to hurt me. To top it off, she wasn't making them oval shaped. I began to call her out on certain detail and man was she bothered! There was a point where she handed the file to me as if she wanted me to show her what I wanted. That's when Another lady stepped in (I believe she was Christine) and she filed my nails the way I've always seen nail techs file them. It took her about 2 minutes. Then Miley told me that another tech would painty nails. The lady who painted them had to stop doing another lady's nails to paint mine. The gel polish was done nice but by this point my nails hurt and I was just disappointed. I'm usually nice with my tips but this experience wasn't even worth the money or time. After having read so many positive reviews, I took my daughter and granddaughter here for mani/pedis, which were to include nail art (it was my granddaughter's 10th birthday). Since it was close to the Fourth of July, each of us had Stars and Stripes on our fingernails and fireworks on our toes. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was. The manicure, itself, was not good. One of the manicurists cut my daughter's finger when clipping off a hangnail and now her finger is infected. I opted for gel polish at the recommendation of the manicurist and the polish looks like it was slopped on. I told her there was color from the polish on my skin and around my nails and she said she would clean that up. She tried, but the polish is still on my skin and is uneven on my nails. I opted for nail art on my just my thumbs and index fingers; the rest of my nails were just a solid color and even then the polish was sloppily applied. As for the, art, the fireworks were very well done. The Stars and Stripes were sloppy and not at all well done. Although everyone working there was nice, the job each of the manicurists did was sloppy and unprofessional. I will not go back. read more

I came in for a leg wax. I was greeted upon entering, not too friendly, but at least I was acknowledged. Not too busy, so I assumed I'd be seen soon. I waited for a little while. I watched 2 other nail techs hang out and chat. I was ushered into the "waxing room" where another lady was already getting waxed. I was going to say I could wait, but I realized since I already had, I'll just go with it. Instead of laying on the table, I was told to sit on a chair while she waxes my legs. It seemed harder on her than on me. Unconventional, but it works. I like that the place is big and kind of spacious. There was a nice breeze blowing through so it didn't smell stuffy and like paint like most nail salons. I might come back again. read more

After moving to Camarillo from Palm Springs I struggled to find a good nail shop. I tried 4 other shops before being recommended to go to Christine by a teller at my bank. I am very picky with my pink and white acrylics. Christine did an excellent job. I have been going to her every two weeks for the last year and am never unhappy with the beautiful job that she does. I have even had some nail art done, and 3D nail art for special occasions. Beautiful job every time! I have my pedicures done by Tammy every two weeks too. She is absolutely the best. The shop is super clean and the employees are friendly. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Extremely disappointed with the job they did. I came in on Saturday to get a mani and pedi, it is Thursday and all my nails are messed up and falling apart. Mind you they started chipping on Monday. I will not be going back. They have okay prices but I think that for $50 my nails should last more than a few days. read more

Used to go to this nail salon but it really was hit or miss with their service. I had one great experience with the owner but usually was paired with a gentleman who was rough with his technique, and would yank my finger if I couldn't contort my finger to accommodate his position.. but that's not why I'm here leaving this review. I went in just before my shift at work (I work across from them) and I had an hour before my shift started. Well, I get paired this time with a senior woman whom I've only ever seen sitting in this salon in regular attire so I assume she's related to someone who works there, I digress. She did exceptional work but I was running short on time to clock in, my hour was up- so I ask if I can pay and come back for the nail polish as that was all that was left to be done.. WHOA did I press this ladies button, her demeanor turned nasty. So, I'm ready to leave and I ask her if I can pay for the work she had done and I'd come back for the nail polish when I take my lunch break.. she charges full amount even though I didn't get color yet and mind you at this point I'm thinking I'll get them painted elsewhere, why deal with the attitude? So, I hand her my card, she charges me and the tosses my card back to me.. I say thank you and I come back a few hours later. This time I'm paired with a younger female.. Christy? I don't remember her name but I remember her attitude, I must've disrespected the establishment because not only was she being rude by directing me to find the nail color I wanted (not on a color wheel but in their nail lacquer rack) she demeaningly directs me "ITS THERE! NO, IT'S RIGHT THERE! NOT THAT ONE" meanwhile I'm confused as to why I'm fishing for the polish myself the labels are all white so I had no clue what number to look for, I'm a customer not a technician. I mean, cool I'll get the polish for you but chill with the attitude. So, I find the color and she berates me with "So, you had to go to work, huh? You were late??" -"Yeah, but now I'm on lunch so it's fine"- "So, you were late or you're going to be late now?" (Thick condescension) Now at that point one of her coworkers is looming over and giving me dirty looks, scoffing at the whole situation. I'm totally embarrassed and trying to keep things calm and friendly but you could tell these women were insulted by something I must've done because they were being very catty which is something I had never seen in all the times I had been there. She finishes up, I tip both of the technicians (because I'd already paid) and went back to work. So, like I said, I used to be a returning customer and they used to be nice. read more

A friend recommended this place and when I went to check it out I was impressed by how clean, professional, and friendly the staff was here. I got a pedicure with black and white zebra stripes and I got so many compliments on that! They are all really good at what they do, as I could see what other clients were getting done. They do some awesome acrylics too! On that visit I only got a pedicure (no manicure), and I couldn't believe that I only I paid $30! I've been to many other places that charge more for a lot less detail and less time spent on the pedicure than with Christine. Super expensive. Paid $36 for a pedicure that was basically a color change. Owner didn't help at all when the credit card machine ran out of paper. Was almost charged twice when I told her to press 8 to re-print the receipt. Much better places then this. read more

Every time I ask Christine to do either a design of my choice or something new and different on my nails, she surprises me and always puts a smile on my face.
