My cuz grabbed a few bags of lavender bath salts and he was right . Smells great and I am more relax after my hot bath. Very friendly and helpful staff and they also carry the lemon honey throat drops which the prefer over halls and ricola. This is the best pharmacy I've ever used or encountered in my life and I'm an EMT-Intermediate (equivalent of a paramedic) and an award winning investigative journalist and I've dealt with hundreds of medical providers and know medications well. The owner and chief pharmacist, Nick, is a saint. The man will walk through fire to make sure he's able to get you the medications you need. If you're looking for an old fashioned pharmacy with a staff that cares, this is the place to go. Nick (the pharmacist) is a great guy. I met him shortly after I had gum surgery. The periodontist gave me four prescriptions. The local cvs (where I used to go) had run out of one prescription. I wandered over to Crescent Apothecary. Nick could tell I was in a lot of pain. I had just gotten stuck in traffic on the 59 Street Bridge. All of the local anesthesia had worn off. He dropped what he was doing, and rushed through my order. He offered to have a staff member deliver everything to my apartment at no charge. He offered me a seat and gave me a free bottle of water. I couldn't ask for better service than that. I've been back to the shop a few times since then. Whenever I stop in, Nick is joking around with customers (in English and in Greek). I don't see any reason to go to another pharmacy. read more

Nick and staff are the absolute best. I can't imagine what raising an infant would've looked like in Astoria without them. He always looked out for us and even our dog. Nick is super friendly and runs a tight ship. If there was ever a reason to run a small business in this country, they exemplify this completely. When I was 8 months pregnant, my OB suggested that my husband and I get the whooping cough vaccine. My primary doctor didn't have it in stock but referred me to this pharmacy. I called Nick, the owner, to make sure they have it in stock and to see when I can come in. He was very polite over the phone and said he wanted to call my insurance company first to make sure I wouldn't be charged a crazy amount for it. He called me back within minutes, as promised, and turns out the vaccine was completely covered! Hubby and I were able to go in the same day and get it done. Now as if that wasn't impressive or convenient enough, the best part was definitely meeting Nick. What a great guy! Totally knows how to properly run his business. When we came in, he had a customer but acknowledged us promptly. When it was our turn, he was super friendly and professional. Within minutes of speaking, I felt like he was an old friend. I recommend coming here instead of the big named pharmacies (I switched over from CVS and it was the best decision). They are the epitome of a hard-working, customer oriented business.
