What a gem of a cafe. I was recommended by a friend and now I will recommend it to all of you. First, the place is cozy but vibrant and welcoming. The artwork, the space and the layout is definitely picture worthy. The drinks and the desserts are so delicious . I ordered the guava croissant and the ice matcha latte and they made a perfect combo. The croissant was the perfect level of sweet and the matcha was smooth and creamy . The staff were welcoming and friendly and were smiling as soon as we walked in. If you're a jersey city native like myself I suggest you take a day trip and have a nice brunch with your friends

Came here with my family and this was such a cute and tidy cafe. This cafe had a very homey feel to it and the workers were so welcoming. We had the BLT toast, curried chicken toast, empanadas (argentine beef, chicken chipotle and ham&cheese), drinks and ice cream. Everything was delicious but the curried chicken toast and argentine beef empanada were the highlight of our meal. We will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu!

Went after gym. Food is definitely on a higher price point than your usual coffee and pastry place yet it offers good breakfast options with toasts/sandwiches, a few soup options and significant amount of pastries. Staffs were really nice and transparent enough to offer suggestions they fancy. Went a couple times already. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although, they could definitely use some deep cleaning in the dining area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], yet food was swiftly served with a smile.

You know their bread is freshly baked when one day the toast size is huge and the other day you are left still hungry Absolutely no shade though, I really appreciate the thought and effort they put into their menu. The toasts are delicious and the price reasonable. The shop itself is a cute, half-underground space that is well lit and has plenty of seating and charging outlets. It is great for hanging out, studying, or even board games (I have seen quite a few groups play). The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and this place has become a weekly staple for me.

Loved this place!! The cutest little cafe with plenty of seating and study space and the nicest staff. The drinks were delicious and the croissant was so fresh. I literally smelt it and asked for whatever had just come out of the oven. They have a ton of menu items that I need to come back and try.

OMG! I am hyper with the Nutella latte! Even the matcha latte is really good! And I'm a matcha snob! Tasty chicken chipotle empanada and ham & cheese empanada was a pleasant morning surprise! And the lady who served us was so friendly! Loved that there Spanish sounded like Italian to me...took me a while. Darn, and I thought I understood Italian? Also cute, bright place with art on walls!

Mushroom and cheese empanada. Great but needs to be cooked more.

love this little spot, cant wait to come back. just keep in mind, prices are bit steep. however, everything tastes great. the empandas are so damn good! i love the flavor of the spinach and prevolone cheese. my only complaint was, cook the shell more! it felt undercooked! the house made crossaints are to die for. perfect. buttery. crunchy! get the egg and cheese on it too! probbaly the most expensive egg n cheese uve ever gotten, but that crossiant is worth it. the nutella coffee...was...nice! oh the hint of nutella in the back of my throat was delish! friendly staff, that serves you quick! cute decor, nice tables, and perfect natural light for them yelp photos =)

We were so happy to stumble upon this little corner cafe on our way to journal square. It has such a cozy, unique vibe, and the staff is more than just welcoming. They were so sweet and helpful, and gave wonderful recommendations for my little sisters. We ended up getting the prosciutto, tomato and mozzarella croissant, an almond croissant, and a Nutella one and they were divine! The coffee is very good quality, and even their iced mocha was delicious! They have a bice working area, and I saw some people typing away on their keyboards. They even have a print station if that's something you need. I think this would be a great place to come and study and get work done as a student. They also feature local artists works and the barista was telling us they have an exhibit coming up. Overall it was such a wonderful experience.

Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.

Service was great and allow you to try a couple flavors if you're unsure which is great as not all ice cream spots makes the flavors the same! Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i
