The contract (Quote #3975 - $150,000) clearly includes upgrading the main residential electrical service to 200 AMP and installing the awning above the ADU access door as part of the project scope. These items were presented in the company's response as if they were additional work, but they appear explicitly in the signed contract. I have also included an email dated Aug 20 from the project manager confirming the project was "on track for completion in 3-4 months." The project ultimately took around 6 months to complete. Additionally, the electrical work referenced in their response included an EV circuit, which is typically required for new construction and ADU projects under the 2022 California Electrical Code. This is a standard code requirement rather than a discretionary upgrade. These screenshots provide context for my experience during the project. Throughout the build I frequently had to verify measurements, coordinate ordering timelines, and raise planning questions that would normally fall under project management. Looking for a reliable contractor who keeps their word? Move on!! Austin was our project manager and he gave us a $60K quote the first time he visited our house on 6/30. He said "We are not like other contractors who will increase the price on you. We give a quote on the higher side so it only goes down from there." We proceeded to design phase and it took 4+ weeks to finish the design. When design was ready and we wanted to proceed with the project, he says "We need to make adjustments for beams. Quote has a 30-day disclaimer. Your quote was actually on the lower side and it is a $80K project. I had a terrible experience with this company. I was suppose to have my roof done . They came over and gave me an estimate, signed contract and gave them 2 posted dated checked. They came over and went on my roof to measure after contract was signed. They called me that night and said the roof seemed to be bigger than it was on "Zillow". Got a call that it measured bigger and it would be ,5,000 more. I couldn't afford that. Had to cancel the contract. I would think they would have to honor the contract since that was their fault. We used Creekside Pro Construction for our kitchen remodel and are very happy we did. They installed all new cabinets and stunning porcelain countertops along with a Moroccan tile backsplash that we picked out. We changed from gas to an induction range cooktop and it looks like it is not even there. We can't stop looking at our new kitchen. During any project like this, there are bound to be hiccups related to materials, measurements, schedules, deliveries, appliances that don't quite fit, code compliance issues, etc. What is important is that you work with a contractor who is responsive and cheerfully corrects those things along the way to your satisfaction. We worked primarily with Jacob as our key point of contact from Creekside Pro and he consistently delivered in that regard. One prime example of that was our beast of a built-in refrigerator. When the new cabinets were installed, the refrigerator door would not open quite wide enough to completely remove a vegetable drawer. Rather than modify our new cabinets, they resized the wall next to the refrigerator door and not only fixed the problem, but it looked more elegant than the original piece of wall. We plan to remodel other areas of the house and will use Creekside Pro Construction for that work. I highly recommend them. They are ethical and very responsive to any issues or concerns. read more

Very sorry for wasting their time since I was not familiar with "water damage" due to leak under the kitchen sink , but if pure remodeling or not working with insurance, I would definitely consider them. Rep contacted me after searching online about possible kitchen remodel, because "mold remediation" does not always return kitchen to working state. Which all started when a plumber came to estimate fixing the leak, refused to fix because they believe they smelled mold. However while having a barrage of contractors calling, after online search, they are very understanding. Rep confirmed schedule, estimator called before arrival (I was a bit nervous since some arrive very late or no show), and was very friendly (not rude even though I told him I am currently working with insurance (after another estimator told me that my situation qualified). Did not get an estimate but got a general cost, idea of what they would do, and view of projects similar. My project was definitely small compared to what was shown but they might be on the higher end side. Hence even though I have not used them, I give them 5 stars because they are professional and detailed. read more
