Kevin helped us with our vision, connected with his shop to pick up color/patterns of cultured marble and assisted in identifying a specific thermostatic valve. Kevin's estimate was right on point and did not include any cost surprises. About a year and a half after the work was completed, one of the towel racks became lose and we were concerned that it was an installation issues... Kevin's team promptly came out and repaired (turned out the rack had proper fasteners and installed correctly so damage was our fault). His bid was competitive, but unlike other bidders he doesn't nickel and dime you on every detail or simple change. He made the whole project easy for us and finished the work in record time based on our experience with previous projects. The crew started demo on a Monday and by Friday we had the first city inspection. Six weeks later the project was complete with all appliances in, custom cabinets installed, new tiles and countertops in. They even worked some weekends. The whole crew were really great, expert, timely, and very easy to have in the house. They were friendly, honest, responsive, and experienced. His cabinet maker is local and delivered a great design, timely delivery and was very responsive. His countertop fabricator also did an excellent job. After finding a leak in our shower, we decided it was time to just have our master bathroom remodeled. I called a few contractors and got quotes that I thought were high. I kept searching and found Diablo View Construction. I spoke with Kevin and we set an appointment for the following Friday. He inspected my bathroom and asked me what I was looking to do. I told him and he offered his opinion and said he would get me a quote later that day. HE DID. (I will just say another contractor took over a week to get me an estimate). I agreed to have Diablo View Construction do my bathroom. This was a great decision. From day one until the final day, Kevin would always be on time and checking to see if I had any questions. He left every day the same. Showing me what he had done that day, what was going to happen next, and "did I have any questions?" I was told the bathroom would take about 2 weeks. A week and a half later it's done. Kevin and his crew were awesome. The whole time I explained to Kevin that the main thing was that I wanted my wife to be happy. When she came home the day it was completed, She just stood in the bathroom grinning from ear to ear. When we walk in to our new bathroom, I feel like we are walking into a new house. Everything in the bathroom is the way we wanted and the work was done perfectly. We have a few other projects we are going to be having done in the near future. Diablo View completed a bathroom remodel for us a few years ago and just completed our kitchen upgrade last month. Our home was left tidy when they weren't there working, the owner Kevin kept us informed of their progress with calls/texts and the final product turn out amazing! Kevin was personally involved and available to meet when we had questions. Diablo View does a lot of projects around Clayton and Concord with a great reputation. If you call, you might get a voicemail that they are not accepting new projects until a certain date because Kevin is very careful to not spread his team too thin. We started planning our project very early to get a proposal and onto their schedule several months before any work started. It turned out that gave us time to purchase all the items we needed to pick out for them to install like the faucet, pendent lights, appliances, etc. The proposal we received from Diablo View outlined this and was very thorough. Asked these guys to provide a quote for a custom barn door, and Kevin went to my house to take measurements. That was basically the end of the communication. They never provided a quote. I've called, e-mailed and texted, but they simply don't respond.
