We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday and had the option of dining outside on the patio or inside. We opted for inside and were promptly sat at a window table. We had a great view of the lake and the patio. It was a perfect night watching the sun set over the water. (For anyone who finds restaurant proposals to be their thing, this is definitely worth a consideration). Our waitress was on top of her game noting the specials, recommendations and quick to answer our questions. Every special sounded delicious and it was hard to choose. Our meal was absolutely delicious. We ordered the spicy lobster pasta and the chicken francaise. Huge chunks of lobster, fresh pasta and a sauce perfectly spiced. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I was a bit surprised they did not serve bread with the entree but TBH we were both stuffed after finishing our meal. There was enough leftover pasta to box up for dinner the next night. After dinner we walked out to the water and checked out the boats. Ladies, be careful where you step on the dock. Seems like the geese like it here too! The back patio is huge, and has a dedicated bar. Attire was both dressy and casual and the clientele was a mix of young and old. While being more of an upscale restaurant it has a neighborhood vibe to it. I would 100% recommend dining here! I can't say much about the inn except that the building itself is beautiful. Our waitress suggested we come back to try one of their homemade desserts. Judging from our first dining experience that will happen very soon

We sat outside, and something about the property and the view genuinely reminded me of sitting at the Corleone compound in The Godfather in the best possible way. It's a gorgeous place to have dinner right on the water. Service was, however, very slow, but they were also extremely busy and I want to make it clear that we didn't blame our waitress at all. She was excellent. She was friendly, attentive when she could be, and did a great job considering how busy everything was. The food was good, but a little inconsistent. My swordfish was slightly overcooked, and my friend's NY strip was as well. Dessert, however, was excellent. We had the chocolate mousse and coconut pie, and both were great. Our biggest disappointment was that they were out of both Heady Topper and Focal Banger despite having them listed on the menu. We understand those beers are difficult to keep in stock and tend to sell out, but their availability was actually one of the reasons we chose to come here for dinner. If they're regularly unavailable, it might make more sense to list them as a rotating or availability dependent offering rather than a standard menu item. Despite those issues, we still enjoyed ourselves. The beautiful setting, excellent waitress, desserts, and overall atmosphere made for a really nice evening. With a slightly better execution on the food and a more accurate beer list, this could easily have been a five star experience.

Brittany provided very good service. Very friendly and attentive. Stuffed jalapenos with sausage were ok. Peppers were not very hot. Wouldn't order again. 2 Peppers and 2 sausage only. Wasn't really put together well. Soup, shrimp and crab bisque, amazing, as previously enjoyed. Not salty at all. Salmon with mustard sauce special was excellent. Brussels and rice were very good, as well. Bacon wrapped pork medallions bourbon cream sauce was just ok. Vegetables and mashed potatoes were good. Not a mash potatoes person but theirs weren't bad. Their French Fries were great. Restaurant is nice inside with indoor and in season, outdoor seating. They have lots of areas for groups including an upstairs section. I would recommend and return here.

Tonight's entrée was haddock. Your basic syracuse go to fish for Lent. The dinner brings a very good sized fried haddock fish. It's flaky, not overly battered and not at all greasy. About as good as you can get for fried haddock. The sides include coleslaw and seasoned french fries. You get a bunch of delicious seasoned french fries but a very small portion of coleslaw. The coleslaw was on the better tasty side. Not too tangy, not bland. The downside is you only get about four forks full. Rather disappointing based on the balance of things and the cost of the dinner.

We recommend you get your steak "Jimmy style" because WOW, there is soooo much flavor! The shrimp scampi was also excellent. The large portions gave us some good leftovers. There was a lovely breeze and amazing view of green lakes and beyond. My small children wanted to walk around while we waited for our food and we checked out the golf carts nearby. The service was pretty fast. At one point I ordered a side of fries and it came out so quickly! The food was also pretty good. I am deducting a star because of the vegetarian sandwich. I was a bit disappointed in the bread which did not seem to be sourdough or toasted and roasted red peppers that were small shreds. The taste was overall ok but larger pieces of red peppers and more lettuce would have helped a lot. My spouse is gluten free and we were pleased they had gf buns on their menu for an additional cost. He and our kids really enjoyed their dinners. Their kids meals were reasonably priced and our 5 year old completely devoured a cheeseburger (normally she eats mostly fries) but the fries were good too!!

My hubs ordered the petite prime rib and a baked potato and I went with the salmon and also a baked. We opted for cups of soup in leu of the side salads because lettuce is a current concern in the US. Soup was delicious. My meal of salmon was incredible! My husband's prime rib was so fatty! Higher ratio of fat than meat. We informed our waitress who sent over the manager who kindly offered to rectify the problem. He decided to go with the salmon instead and enjoyed it as much as I did. Staff was friendly, apologetic and attentive. Not sure why these overall reviews aren't higher.
