My girlfriend and I were looking for a dentist and came across Creekside Dental Care (this visit happened mid-2009). We made one visit there, and needless to say it was enough to know how this office operates. Spoiler alert: They operate very shittily! The hygienists were about what we'd expect from hygienists and for the most part, friendly. We had our standard x-rays done, general check up and teeth cleaning, nothing too complicated. It was Dr. Christophe and the front desk staff that warrant my very low rating. (Wish there was 1/2 a star rating available). When the hygienists were done with my x-rays and cleaning, Dr. Christophe came by to check their work and did a few obligatory scrapes here and there and asked if I had any questions. I did, I asked him about wanting braces to fix some spacing I have, and his reply was meager, saying "We can refer you to a specialist who can discuss your options in more detail. Is there anything else?" Me: "Um no, I guess not." Thanks for your infinite wisdom doc! My girlfriend's x-rays somehow got messed up in the process. Well at first they were fine, then advised they were messed up, then advised they were ok and they'll be able to discuss the results with her by the time our cleanings were complete. She is not too keen on visits to the dentist to begin with, and inquired about the possible use of a mild sedative to help out her nerves, to which the hygienist replied "I'm sorry, we're not licensed to administer sedatives here." Once Dr. Christophe was done with my post-cleaning inspection he skipped over to my girlfriend. She still has two of her wisdom teeth and asked about having them removed since she has some issues biting the inside of her cheek and what he recommends. His reply was "Well that's like asking if you should vote for Obama or McCain. They're both good candidates, it's just a matter of your personal preference." No twat! You're the dentist, not her, you tell her what you recommend based off your fancy x-rays and costly poke around in her mouth as a bloody dentist should! Besides, Ralph Nader was the clear choice in 2008, if you want our non-professional opinion! We could've saved time and money by staying home and scraping our own damn teeth clean! After all, the dentistry at Creekside Dental Care is just a matter of opinion, so why not? We paid the co-pay for our visit, which should have only been $50 total ($25 each), for some reason we were charged $100 total, after calling our Dental Insurance company to realize the error, I had to call back and have them credit us $50. After paying, my girlfriend asked about her x-ray results and the estimated cost of the fillings she would need performed. The receptionist said she didn't have it ready yet and would call her later that day to follow up. One week passed and she had not received a call, so she called in to find out the estimate/results were not ready and she would have to speak with Dr. Christophe again and have them prepared for her shortly and will get a call back. Another week passed, still no call back from their offices, she placed another call to them, was told again someone would call her back with those results. A week or two passed with no follow up call so another call was placed; she explained the series of calls and the lack of action on their end and was advised she would definitely get a call back regarding her results. A few days later she did receive a missed call and a voicemail from the office saying they had her results available and to call back. She called back later that day (within office hours) and received their answering machine. At this point she was so fed up with the whole series of events she didn't leave a message and we both vowed to never return or bother with them again. After all, we'll show them in a strongly worded Yelp review. It's about that time for another dentist's visit, so after some extensive online research and review reading we made appointments with Lodo Dental downtown. A Yelp review of their offices will be coming after our appointments on November 10th! I called Creekside Dental this morning to ask about having our dental records transferred or sent over to Lodo Dental to save time and hassle of course, to which I was advised would be a $12.00 per patient records fee. I felt this was pretty ridiculous and asked if the price would change if I just stopped in to pick up the print outs to bypass their processes. Guess what? The answer was no, the $12.00 fee still remains. Apparently it costs $24.00 in overhead for one of their incompetent employees to hit a "Print" button a few times. To summarize, don't waste your time with these hacks. They are truly awful and have a lot to learn about customer service, let alone proper dentistry and presidential elections. read more

This office is amazing! I put off my dental care for 5 years. Not something I am proud of. I found another dentist before I came to Creekside Dental Care. Unfortunately that office did not accept CareCredit, but Creekside does! I needed to have one root canal, one crown, and two cavities filled. Oy vey! Dr. Christophe worked with me on a timely schedule to take care of all these problems. I had all of my overdue dental work done in about 6 weeks. I looked forward to every visit. The dental hygienist is kind and genuinely cares about the patients. Dr. Christophe creates a relaxing environment. It's not cold and rigid like many other medical offices feel. He is always in tune with patients and wants to make sure they are comfortable in his care. They have never kept me waiting for any reason. I was able to call and ask about the cost for a procedure before hand and they always called me back the same day! If I was asking before an appointment in the office, they would have that estimate by the time I was done. If I asked about cost after the appointment, instead of keeping me waiting awkwardly at the front desk, they would just call me later in the day. I would receive emails AND reminder calls about upcoming appointments. The most amazing thing about this office however is their overall concern about their patients. I forgot about an appointment one day and they called after I had been late by about 15 minutes! They were worried something had happened to me because I was always on time. I apologized and asked if we could reschedule. They said it wasn't necessary, to come anyway. They stayed after hours just to take care of my teeth! I have never had any business bend over backwards like that for me. These negative reviews are unfortunate. Many of the complaints are human error, no person is perfect. I understand if somehow something slipped through the cracks. My care was complicated and intricate and I have had no problems. Asking a dentist to do orthodontics is like asking a heart surgeon to do brain surgery. Dr. Christophe did not do my root canal, an endodontist at this office did. Dr. Christophe did the right thing by trying to refer someone to the CORRECT specialist. It is not good practice to give orthodontic advice if that is not his specialty. He seems to have followed PROPER medical practices in both of these negative reviews and I know this because I work in the medical field. If you don't like going to the dentist, you will like going to see Dr. Christophe. read more

I practically grew up in a dental office because my mother is a hygienist and worked as an assistant in college - needless to say, I consider myself to have good judgment regarding dental practitioners! Dr Christophe is an excellent dentist, and Megan does a better job cleaning my teeth than anyone else since I stopped having my mother do my cleanings. She is friendly, thorough, and an excellent educator! The atmosphere of the office is relaxing, and I always feel like they genuinely care about my dental health, as well as me as a person! All charges are explained up front, and any concerns about my teeth are not only explained, but shown to me. As for the review from Chris and Star B....I commend Dr Christophe for not attempting to offer orthodontic advice (that's not his specialty!!) and for being honest about the fact that sometimes wisdom teeth are fine to stay in - who cares what kind of analogy he used? He answered the question honestly....its a matter of personal preference as long as there's room in your mouth to keep them. I have a hard time believing that no one would return phone calls bc that simply isnt the way that Dr Christophe runs his office or treats his patients. Dental x-rays arent like running a blood test - there arent necessarily "results" that need to be communicated. That whole thing sounds like some sort of isolated misunderstanding. I find that the office staff go out of their way to communicate with me any time I have a concern, as well as to remind me of upcoming visits. They have great office hours that make it easy to fit appointments into my busy schedule, and I never feel that they are in a rush to complete my care like some offices that run like an assembly line. I basically cant say enough good things about Creekside Dental!! read more

Dr. Christophe is wonderful. He is gentle, he carefully explains the procedures and why he is doing them, and he recommends only what is best for you, not what is most lucrative for him. Did you know he is an instructor at one of the local dental schools? It's true, he knows his business. I find my visits to be pleasant. His work is effective, but he is not punctual. If he tells you "this will take about an hour and a half", plan for being in the chair for at least two hours. This is because he is so careful and exact, he will patiently work on your teeth until he is sure he completed the job correctly. I would recommend this dentist for my fragile grandma, children, and anyone in between. The office is clean, they treat you with kindness and the end result is fabulous. Everyone deserves a dentist like Dr. Christophe. read more

I have been a patient at Creekside Dental for almost 6 years now. When Dr. Christophe and his staff took over the business, I must say it has been for the better. Today I came in for my first crown with Creekside and it was virtually painless due to Dr. Christophe's needle technique which is amazing. He was very communicative about the procedure, and work meticulously on my tooth until it was perfect and up to my standard. His attention to detail is amazing and his hygienist Meghan is outstanding. I can honestly say that I enjoy visiting my dentist because he is a good man, an excellent physician, and his staff are welcoming and approachable. And the background music couldn't be better either. Thank you all for a great experience today. I am happy to refer you at a moment's notice. Very best - Mike Goodman read more

I have been coming to this office for three years. In that time the ownership/managent changed and in my opinion this was for the better. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the office is very conveniently located, with ample parking. Last year my permanent retainer (post orthodontia) was damaged and Dr. Christophe repaired it for me at no charge. I give this practice 2 thumbs up! Not sure what the folks with the negative posts are talking about ? It's just the dentist afterall - but Creekside makes it a pleasant experience. read more

I've been taking my dentistry needs to Creekside since it opened and wouldn't go anywhere else. From cleanings to cavities to crowns, I've had it all done at Creekside. I am one who is interested in the details of the dental work being performed and Dr. Christophe and the staff are always professional and courteous and will provide me with the explanations I am looking for. It's a shame to see a few bad reviewers with an ax to grind say negative things about the practice, I recommend this dental office to anyone who will listen. read more

I have been thoroughly impressed with the care and professionalism my husband and I have received since doing business with Creekside. Dr. Christophe is incredibly understanding and thorough and takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. We have never had such phenomenal dental experiences! I have been a patient there for several years and I love it. Meghan is great and so is Dr. Christophe! I even referred Monica C. and Donna R. They always call me on my birthday or when they know there is something important going on to check on you. They really do care and it makes you feel obligated to keep all your appointments! I will never go to another dentist and i'm thankful Dr. Christophe bought the practice. Thank you all for what you have done and what you will continue to do! read more

This office is by far and away the best I've visited in Denver. I have tried about 4 dentists in 5 years and no one is more professional and caring. Dr. Christophe takes the time to get to know each client and doesn't try to push anything on his patients. The hygentist obviously has a passion for her work and does a great job of making recommendations to improve my oral health. Lastly, Dr. Christophe has a great taste in music and is always playing some good tunes during my visits! read more

I had to find a new Dentist when my insurance plan changed and came across Creekside. Found the staff to be very nice and friendly and Dr. Christophe is very patient and took his time explaining the condition of my teeth and gums. I had to be referred to a gum specialist who was very nice and rated one of the best in the state by 5280 magazine. My appointments at Creekside have always been great and have not taken very much time out of my day. read more

This is by far the best dental experience I have had. Dr. Christophe was great at explaining my options and working with me to achieve great oral health. Not only is he great, so is the rest of the staff. I have never had such a friendly and knowledgeable hygienist, I believe her name is Janelle. Creekside dental care is the only dentist I can recommend with full confidence. Thanks to the Dr. Christophe and his wonderful staff!!! read more

Dr. Christophe is the only dentist that my wife and I have gone to for years. We moved from Denver to Centennial a while ago and still make the drive to see him and his staff because we are so pleased with their professionalism and service that they provide. I've had several procedures completed including caps and fillings and have been nothing but pleased with the results. I strongly recommend Creekside Dental. read more

I have been very pleased with the service I have received. I've been in for several cleanings and so has my daughter. The staff has always been very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I even had to break up my cleaning into two 30 minute appointments one time because I committed to another obligation and I was so pleased with how generous the staff was in accommodating my circumstance. read more

This practice has changed hands 3 times before Dr. Christophe took over and I am so glad I stuck it out. He explains all procedures, is calm, kind and friendly and a professional. The only thing I don't like is that his office is a not close to my house but I would travel a 100 miles just to get the best care from his staff! Kudos to Creekside Dental! read more
