Very happy with this office so far. I moved to the area recently and was recommended to make an appointment here. Dr. Goldman has been great so far - good sense of humor, which I always appreciate. My x-rays were as terrible as ever (my fault, but man, someday I hope they make them not gigantic and gag you the whole time) but the hygienist Robbie was nice and tried to make it as tolerable as she could. I had to get some fillings done on a second visit and I was able to choose laughing gas for the procedure which I think helped. Dr. Goldman also numbed my mouth a bit first before giving me novocaine which definitely made the shots way less painful (I didn't cry, so that's telling you it was a success). After I was done, some of the fillings weren't smoothed out (since my mouth was numb and I couldn't tell right away) but I was able to go back (no charge) and he filed them down so my bite returned to normal which only took about 10 minutes. The office and staff are very friendly - at my first appointment I did a whole intake with Cheyenne (I think that's her name) and even said I forgot to take advil, and she brought me some! Overall happy with the vibes, staff, and work here. I will not be posting pics of my teeth, you're welcome :) read more

I feel compelled to edit my original review for Rippe Dental down to one star despite a front office staff and hygienists that are very friendly, courteous and professional (Cassidee in particular). The fact is, cleanings and routine exams are great when they go as planned, but the real test occurs when you have actual dental work performed. To that end, Rippe fails beyond measure. There were red flags too, but sadly, I ignored or missed them. First was when my wife told me that she had a dentist try and upsell her on additional work and then it was my daughter telling me that she was both shamed for not actively flossing enough (I believe she said 4 times) and being manhandled by her dentist during an exam (her description). We joked about it, but it was likely an indicator of something being off. Looking back, I wish I didn't brush off these two incidents because it apparently was a trend considering what happened to me, and caused me to find a new dentist. The dentist I was working with informed me that I had a small cavity underneath a previously put in crown and that the cavity needed to be filled. I hesitated because I had symptoms other than food being trapped occasionally. Annoying, but not enough to warrant the procedure. When I mentioned that, the dentist told that if I didn't do it, I would eventually require a root canal. Thus, I did the procedure for a little under $2k. Unfortunately, about a week later, I felt pain when I bit into something hard, plus the tooth was sensitive to hot or cold foods/drinks, which wasn't the case prior to the procedure. Thus, I contacted my dentist and was told to come back in. The dentist said the crown was put in well with no obvious issues, and suggested that I take prednisone and he filed down my mouthguard (for snoring) because he thought the snug fit might be irritating the tooth a bit. He also mentioned that I still might need a root canal after the procedure. I wish I said something right then, but I was too stunned to respond. My only thought was, you told me I needed this procedure to avoid a root canal and following the procedure.....I need a root canal? So, I took the prednisone and used the modified mouthguard, but nothing improved. Then, I received an email from Rippe stating that it had been a month since the procedure and asking me for a review or something like that. I responded by saying they really don't want me leaving a review at this time. Accordingly, I received a phone call from the office administrator, who was pleasant enough, and told me that Dr. Rippe would look at my x-rays and get back to me. She called a few hours later and told me that Dr. Rippe thought it was a large cavity that was sitting near a nerve so this happens occasionally. Again, I was stunned and told her that the other dentist said it was a small cavity, didn't mention anything about proximity to a nerve, and never once mentioned that it was possible that I might still need a root canal after the procedure. Had I been told any of this, I might have had reasonable expectations going in, may have inquired about a root canal instead, or at least have made an informed decision. I was also surprised that Dr. Rippe couldn't be bothered to hop on the phone himself to discuss, but I guess he was too busy. In the end, the administrator said that perhaps they could have done a better job explaining the procedure and potential outcomes, but in no way took any responsibility, and they basically said that dental work occasionally exposes underlying issues. I was completely turned off by the lack of empathy or responsibility taken, which prompted me to move my family to a new practice. When I shared my experience with my new dentist, she was shocked. Now, I just don't want another family to experience what we did, so if you start hearing an upselling pitch, consider it your first red flag. I also expect a response to this review from Rippe suggesting that I'm in the wrong again or that something other than what actually happened, happened. Regardless, good luck to all patients with your care. Not sure why my name is showing up as being from SF, but I'm a local here in CO. read more

I've noticed every time I go here they find something that needs to be worked on. Over 40 years I've had 2 cavities but since coming here every single cleaning they find something that needs worked on, weather it's replacing the fillings I have or a hairline crack in my tooth, the dental hygienist seemed almost ecstatic that she found something during my last cleaning. The staff has always been nice which is why I have 2 stars but there is definitely something fishy about the practice. They do the exact same thing to other family members that started going here. read more

Do not go here. I'd put money to say they're private equity owned. Been going to an independent dentist for years and always been told what to keep an eye on. This office told me I need 3 CROWNS, multiple fillings, and early onset dental disease. I haven't had a cavity in 5 years and always scored in normal range for my gums. Haven't changed my routine. These people are grifters!!!! Nice staff. Too bad they're money hungry. read more

I showed up for a 4-hour crown appointment--only to find out my regular dentist had left the practice without any prior notice. Instead, I was seen by someone new. After 4.5 hours, he told me the crown was "a little thin on one side" and might only last 2-3 years. But when I looked at it, it was neon white--nowhere near the color of my surrounding teeth. So, I had to reschedule another 4-hour appointment. Hoping to avoid a repeat, I asked to see the practice's owner, Dr. Rippe, for the correction. That second visit was no better. He spent the entire appointment resting his stomach literally on my face. Needless to say it was uncomfortable. After another 4 hours, he handed me the mirror--and once again, the crown was way too light. After already spending 8 hours in a dental chair, I was understandably upset. When I asked if we could adjust the color, Dr. Rippe became visibly irritated and said, "I'm not even getting paid to do this. We're redoing it for free. If you want a custom color, you'll have to pay for it." Instead of showing empathy or taking accountability for the situation, he deflected blame and made me feel like my concerns were unreasonable. If you're looking for a dental office that values your time, comfort, and basic respect, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

This Dental Office is amazing! Dr. Goldman and the entire staff are so kind and really great at what they do! Although having to have a crown put on is no fun, it sure was nice to get the crown all in one day! Dr. Goldman is a Crown Expert Extordinaire!!! read more

Both my husband and I went to Dr. G. a couple of times and we both felt like up selling was the goal every time we went. The costs are very high and they seem to always find expensive work they highly recommend being done. Plus, he made a couple of significant mistakes in the work he did and had to redo it. Neither of us would recommend going here. We've changed to a new dentist because of these reasons. read more

Rippe dental has always been friendly and professional. Members of our family have experience with both Dr. Rippe and Dr. Goldman. During procedures they make sure we are comfortable. Both doctors explain things well. Their billing department communicates well and we haven't had any issues with billing or insurance. read more

I started going here because they honor a discount dental plan I have. The reception area, dental assistant and billing department are very nice. Dr Rippe worked me in as an emergency for removal of an infected tooth that could not be saved. He works very hard and is skilled and confident at what he does. I am so thankful to he and his staff for doing this ASAP read more

I am not a fan of dentists in general. Probably because everytime I went as a kid I had a cavity and had to get drilled - ouch. That's enough to make anyone a bit apprehensive when visiting the dentist. Being a newbie to the Denver area I wasn't sure who to ask or how to select a new dentist. Initially, I chose a dentist from my dental insurance website, but after being told I had periodontal disease and needed several painful procedures for things that I'd never had issues with in the past, I decided I needed to get a second opionion. I found Dr. Rippe on patientfyi.com and even though he was out-of-network, I decided to take a chance because he had recieved 17 patient reviews and those patients gave him a 9.7 out of 10 stars. Not bad in my book. Upon my initial visit, I was greeted with a smile by Jeannie, the office manager, who then took me on a tour of the office...something I've never had when visiting a dentist. She had my new patient paperwork set-up in a private office for me to fill out along with a little "welcome bag" full of goodies like a travel mug, toothbrush, mini toothpaste, chapstick and a referral card - part of their "Care to Share" program. So far, so good. I was then introduced to a brief introductory video and met my dental hygenist, Katrina, who would be doing my cleaning. She was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my initial exam and cleaning. Dr. Rippe then came in and reviewed everything with me, announcing everything looked good. Wait, what? No periodontal disease? Nope. No need for gum grafting? Nope. I felt vindicated. And, pleased that I saved myself unecessary costs related to procedures I didn't even need! Dr. Rippe then took pictures of my teeth and went over any issues he found along with his recommended treatment plan. His attitude was warm and friendly and I got the sense he truly cares about his patients and wants them to have the best dental experience possible and wasn't out to take me or my insurance company "for a ride." So, I am happy to report I've found myself a new dentist and would recommend Dr. Rippe to anyone searching for a professional, honest dentist. Note: Dr. Rippe's practice provides Family Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Teeth Whitening, No-Drill Laser Treatments read more

I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Rippe, he is caring and professional. His compassion and empathy make him an excellent Dentist. I have called him on a holiday, at home, and he has helped me. Was in search for a new Dentist and we found the perfect place! This office is not stuffy- it's very inviting, updated, clean, staff are friendly and proud of where they work! My husband was offered a tour by Jesús and even got to see the lab. Jasdeep and Megan were great hygienists. Jasdeep was wonderful, she was very thoughtful and would inform me of techniques I could use to better brush and floss and relayed information in a way that was receptive. She also took the time to explain each step of my cleaning and importance of new technology they have! (The cavity finder is SO cool!!!). My husband's hygienist was Megan and he said she was great too, very personable! Oh and they don't do Xrays the old school way! They are pretty innovative and have a machine that scans your head and then only 8 mouth piece xrays and the equipment they use is softer than other dentists we've been to. From what I gathered, this place keeps up to ensure comfort and efficiency for their guests! Front desk staff- Joanne, Selene, Mary were all helpful. Being new patients, they chatted with us, found out what we like and don't like, preferences and goals for our teeth. We even got a welcome bag, which was a nice touch! Dr. Rippe- very personable, extremely knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable and like you've known him forever! Even watching his staff interact with him, you can tell they enjoy working along side him! Also, I really appreciated the vision statement- it has nothing to do with teeth... but everything to do with being kind to others and building long lasting relationships. & it shows with the staff, it is relational and makes you feel welcome. This place makes me want to go to the dentist because of the positive experience! read more

More like doctor rip off, I'm usually leery of a place that can't keep employees as it's typically the management not the employees at a certain point. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, as he was really good at making it seem it was just hard to find good employees but after dealing with a new person one too many times, I decided to look elsewhere. I was utterly SHOCKED at how much I have been overpaying and I'm talking HUNDREDS of dollars for the same procedures. I contacted multiple different offices so it wasn't just a one off thing. I suggest you go somewhere else , where you won't be robbed and they most likely treat their staff much better. Shame on them for taking advantage of people's ignorance on dental costs. read more

Our whole family has been seeing Dr Rippe and his staff for over 15 years, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of care we receive. The office is lovely and state of the art... Everyone there is friendly, caring, and highly knowledgeable. Dr Rippe and his wife take these trips to poorer countries where they provide free dental work to those who would otherwise suffer without their help. I really can't say enough good things about this dental practice, and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! read more

I just love Dr. Rippe's office and staff! I recently moved to Denver and had to leave my childhood dentist behind. I am so glad I came across Dr. Rippe. I am terrified of the dentist and he has been so compassionate and attentive to my needs. The first appointment was great, I felt like my teeth were thoroughly looked at and unfortunately there were some health issues to consider. Yesterday, I had a 5 hour sedation appointment. I just loved that I was at the dentist for 5 hours and all I remember is the smiling faces when I arrived. Even when I thought that was a lot to ask for -- Dr. Rippe that night placed a phone call to my home to check up on my health after the appointment and how I was feeling. There is really no better way to get dentistry done out there. read more

My husband and I were dental patients of Dr. Rippe's for several years before we moved our kids over to his practice. We did so because we felt they needed better, more thorough care than they were getting at the large pediatric practice we used to go to. I had been a client of Rippe Dental for 3/4 years. I loved it. The staff was great, they did quality work and would always work with me when I had to pay off major work. All of that has changed. Pretty much the entire staff has been replaced and not for the better. The whole problem started when I went in for a cleaning. I waited for 25 minutes for the hygienist to then have to sit there while she talked to someone. After my cleaning I scheduled some major work to be done in a month. Someone from the office called me a couple of weeks later asking if I could come in a week early to do the molds since the appointment was going to be so long. I asked if I could speak with the dentist because I couldn't afford all the work and wanted to see if maybe half the work could be done. She said someone would call me back. After a week and not receiving a call back I called the office. The snotty receptionist told me I didn't have an appointment. I explained the phone call and scheduling the appointment a month early. She didn't care just said well you don't have an appointment and all I had scheduled was a cleaning in a few months. I asked her to cancel the appointment to which she replied, "Would you like me to inactivate you file?" They obviously no longer care so I will no longer be their patient. At any point did any of the staff contact me concerned I wouldn't be coming there anymore? Nope. read more

**Warning** Stay away for this office**. I was a new patient and was quoted $50.00 for my initial exam and even brought in a business card that was given to me from their office that states (Bring this card for a $50.00 exam and necessary x-rays - up to 192.00 savings). After the exam, they billed my insurance carrier over $160.00. When i spoke with the office manager she stated since I have insurance they could bill me the full cost of the exam. I advised the office manager that I was quoted $50.00 for the first exam by the office staff which is the reason I set the appointment in the first place. Apparently, they have two different price plans. One for insured patients and the other for uninsured patients. The office manager refused to reverse the insurance cost and stated that I should take this up with my insurance carrier. It;'s gets better! To this date, i have yet to receive a treatment plan from Dr. Rippe even after speaking with his office manager. Office staff is very rude, deceitful and gives false statements to patients. I would definitely seek out a different dentist. read more
