They use the most up to date equipment, cutting the time for full mouth X-Rays in half. I was due for a deep cleaning which in the past has been very painful. Dr. Meister used a topical numbing gel on my gums which actually worked better than injections. He completed the cleaning as quickly and gently as humanly possible, all while keeping me distracted with some travel anecdotes. Also, the antibiotic rinse really helped calm my gums, even though my insurance doesn't cover it. Overall a great experience, considering I'd rather get a Pap than go to the dentist. read more

The main reason I come here is the convenience--it's in the same building where I live, which is great. The staff is friendly and tries to make small talk, but unfortunately, the long wait times are a real downside. For example, my appointment today was scheduled for 9:00 AM, but I wasn't seen until 9:30 for a quick stitch removal that took less than five minutes. I would have appreciated being scheduled closer to the actual time I was seen, as my time is valuable and I have to get to work. It's frustrating when appointments run this far behind (especially early in the morning), and especially for something so quick. I hope they can improve on timeliness, because the location and staff are otherwise great. read more

I am really disappointed. I came into this office as a new patient because I moved and needed someone closer to my new house. I was told that I have "six cavities", and needed an expensive gum rinse because I am at risk of gum disease. I paid for the gum rinse, but I decided not to get the cavities filled, as I wanted a second opinion. I drove out of town to visit my previous dentist who I trust... turns out I only have TWO cavities, and I have healthy gums... Also- a member of the office team came into my exam room and was reviewing pricing for the "six cavities" I needed filled and it was extremely expensive. I told her I was confused as to why the cost was so high and she said that I "scared her" because I put her on the spot....????? That's your job??? To answer questions??? Please do better. read more

Just had an old crown removed and perfectly replaced by Dr. Meister and his EXCELLENT team today. VERY LITTLE PAIN (and that's because I've got sensitive teeth), PERFECT crown, in less than 3 hours! Staff is very gentle, knowledgeable, completely capable, extremely professional and very friendly. The new technology blew me away! They did a 3-D Scan and Print of my tooth, then Dr. Meister worked his magic and I left with a crown that looked like a real tooth and at a very reasonable cost. And they were all wearing masks (Dr. Meister was in an N95!). The office was immaculate as always, including the bathroom. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone. The front desk people were very nice but the dentist himself is trying to scam people. I've seen a few reviews on here with similar issues and I wanted to share my experience. I came looking for a new dentist after moving to Denver and this place was nearby. I take very good care of my teeth and have gone to the dentist twice a year for as long as I can remember. I came in, and just by looking at my teeth (no cleaning or even probing) told me I needed to make another appointment for a deep clean and to fill 4 cavities. I've only had 1 cavity in my life so this was shocking. I sent the X-rays and pictures of my teeth that this office took, to my old dentist who I've gone to since I was 4. They said my teeth and gums looked perfectly healthy and there was no signs that I needed anything more than a normal cleaning. Would not recommend this place as it seems they just want money out of you. read more

People tend to think going to the dentist's office is a stressful experience. Not here, though! The staff are very friendly. My routine cleaning was about an hour and a half, including a fluoride treatment. I used to live in the apartments above the office, but have since moved to Cap Hill. Peak pandemic you would go to this office and they would always have their mask off or halfway like w their nose still visible. I never complained once. I made an appointment today for 12pm for a cleaning got there and the door was locked. Who does that??? The unprofessionalism. This really sucks because I have been coming here awhile. I went to the dentist for the first time in, admittedly, about 3 years. I had a few sensitive spots, and frankly wasn't looking forward to the cleaning. I was greeted warmly, super quick and seamless check-in process (I was a new patient), the dental assistant was incredibly friendly and kind, and she was very thorough in taking the x-rays, while constantly making sure I was comfortable. *Side note: they are very diligent about x-rays, and let you know that any x-rays your insurance doesn't cover, they cover the remainder--not the patient. The dentist was very warm as well, also making sure I was comfortable (and numbed) sufficiently for the work she was about to do. Given the level of care my teeth required, it was the best possible experience I could hope for. No pain, they didn't rush whatsoever, but were also attentive and efficient in between steps of the process. Everything was explained thoroughly, and they found a payment plan that worked for me before they begun any work, to make sure I was comfortable with everything. It was made abundantly clear they wanted my teeth to be healthy, but also didn't want me to lose sleep at night over the cost. Super glad to have found them, and would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist. read more

I've walked by Belleview Dentist Office a few times, and given it's convenient location to where I live and work, I was thrilled to read such positive reviews online. I moved to Colorado recently from the East Coast, so when the time came to go to the dentist, this place came to mind. I'm thrilled that I found such a great dentist! The office is bright, spotless, and welcoming. I arrived 10 minutes early and after filling out some medical history information on an iPad, I was seen at exactly my appointment time. I had come for just a cleaning but knew I would likely need some work done, so when the dentist offered to do it that day to save me from taking more time off from work, I was so grateful. Going to the dentist always makes me nervous - between the cost and the sound of the drills, I wish I could skip it altogether. Belleview Dentist Office put my at ease with the first fear. Before even starting, Natalie sat down and explained to me what the costs would be for the various procedures. I have never had a medical office lay out the costs for me that clearly before, and it made the visit so much less stressful. I made my 6 month appointment before I left their office and would highly recommend them to anyone. I recently decided to part ways with the dentist that I'd been seeing since childhood, as it was very inconvenient to hop on a plane and fly to him each and every appointment. This sent me on an extensive search for a dentist with a positive and reputable work history. I finally settled on Dr. Taryn Yee-Paiva DDS and it was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Dr. Yee and her staff are professional and extremely kind and accommodating. I felt right at home as soon as I walked through the door. I recently had two back crowns installed and I was also fitted for a night-guard along with my scheduled bi-annual cleaning, exam and x-rays. Each and every area was done with the utmost accuracy and I felt that Dr. Yee and her staff would not settle for anything less than perfect. I'm no expert, but the equipment used here seems to be by far the most state of the art equipment and machines I've ever seen. I was blown away by the technology utilized. The office is also immaculate. Every detail is organized and clean! It is beyond important to me that my dental hygienist is also obsessed with hygiene and cleanliness, which they most definitely are. The location is near the Belleview Light Rail station and right off of I-25. I highly recommend Belleview Dentist Office as it is owned and operated by a professional and caring doctor who goes out of her way to make you and your health feel important as well as a priority. read more

I chose this office because of the reviews and was excited to find a good practice. Unfortunately this practice is set up to be an "up sell" place. From the moment you come in, the whole process is choreographed to understand your insurance and try to sell you on procedures you do not need. There is lots of time wasted in between each step where you are just waiting (xrays, exam, procedures discussion, insurance discussion, additional procedures discussion, and finally the cleaning). In fact, my visit took over 2.5 hours and that was with me constantly pushing them that I had to go. Otherwise it would have been a 3 or 3.5 hour visit! I have never ever had a dentist visit (even as a new patient) last more than 45 minutes! read more

I went here at the recommendation of a friend. Happy to say that we were all treated well and given options for our care most of which (including a crown) could be done the same day as we came in! My kids loved the laid back atmosphere and the tablet in the lobby. I was grateful for the options the office manger gave and the ease of my treatment. Let me begin by saying that the dental hygienists and office staff were great and that is the ONLY reason that I gave them 1 star. They made me feel very comfortable and worked with me on my payment. However, the dentist, Taryn Yee-Paiva, was HORRIBLE! As a grown person, with beautiful, healthy teeth, I do not expect to be scolded for, what she felt, was not taking care of my teeth. I made the appointment expecting to have a normal 6 month check up that would be 100% covered by my insurance, only to be "scared" into agreeing to extensive dental work that was not at all covered by my insurance. I don't know about the other dentists in the office, but avoid Dr Yee-Paiva at all costs! read more

I tried out this office after seeing my dentist of 10 years. It was a very comfortable, pleasant experience. The doctor was very nice and gentle. The dental helper was very gentle as well. She offered me a blanket, coffee and water. I was offered to treat my cavity the same day, which worked because of my schedule at work. I also like the music in the office - hip but not too loud and distracting. This office is top notch and I will be coming back and referring my friends and family. read more

While most dentist offices I've ever visited offer unnecessary services that come with a hefty cost, you are in complete control here at the education and guidance of the staff. Dr. Taryn Yee-Paiva was very kind and professional. She seemed knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions. The actual practice was a different story. I had a crown done on one tooth and a filling on another in October 2017. During the crown procedure she left a deep painful cut in my gums from from the lidocaine shot. I had to return 3 different times because the crown tooth was in pain and each time they were convinced they had to adjust my bite more. After the third visit my crown was drilled down to a flat nub and barely touching my bottom teeth and I was still in terrible pain whenever i ate or had anything cold. After the third bite adjustment with no relief I was actually terrified to return to Belleview dentist office in case they would try to drill my tooth anymore. I didn't feel confident they knew what they were doing. I also started to have pain in the other filling that they did at the same time. I waited until the end of the year and changed my dental insurance to open up my options more and I went to another dentist that was recommended to me. Sure enough I had to get a root canal on the crown tooth. Now it's February and I'm starting to get a lot more pain in the other filling that was done at Belleview Dentist office. I fear I will either have to get the filling redone or god forbid another root canal. I have been going to other dentists for a long time and have never had a crown before let alone a root canal. This is not something that just happens. Don't skimp out on dental insurance. Pay up and get someone good. Your teeth are worth it. read more
