If you have ANY other option, stay away from this one. I started going to this Perfect Teeth about a year ago, based on what seemed like decent reviews and a convenient location. I don't know if the doctor/staff changed right around when I started going there, but my experience did not match what I expected. I generally trust medical professionals, but I do not trust the team here. More than anything, the interactions I had here over 1 cleaning/dental exam and 1 cavity filling made me SUPER uncomfortable. The information they told me from one visit to the next didn't match, and when I asked questions about my dental health, I felt like I wasn't getting genuine answers. They told me I had two cavities that needed filling, but the details on where those were/what needed to be done kept changing each time I talked to the doctor or staff. My last visit was for a cavity filling and I felt so uncomfortable that I almost walked out. I'd asked for a white filling, and they acknowledged my ask but still gave me a silver filling (on a tooth I'm not sure even needed it). Upfront, I will say that they did not actually treat me, so keep that in mind when reading this review. I did not have a good experience trying to get care there though. I called them on Christmas Eve morning with a severe toothache (that ended up needing a root canal) and I was so happy that they were able to get me in the day after Christmas. However, then they called me back several hours later and said that the doctor wouldn't be in after all and they couldn't take me until the next week. Really? Now it's Christmas Eve late afternoon and I'm supposed to try to find another dentist?! Of course that didn't happen. Each time I arrived, Perfect Teeth refused to do the regular cleaning and insisted upon my getting a deep cleaning. Ends up, my insurance refused to cover the cost of deep cleaning and stated it as unnecessary. If I had listened to P.Teeth, I would be $1500 in debt to them just like all too many other patients who were in the office trying to settle their debts to Perfect Teeth. I regrettably, trusted Dr Khoda as my new dentist, having recently moved to Denver and obtaining new insurance. Do yourself a favor and FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!!!I have never had a cavity in my life, and upon going to Dr Khoda to have my teeth cleaned, she told me that I not only have 1 but THREE cavities. I was a bit in shock, and she seemed very confident in her assessment. Something did not feel right about her explanation of interaction, especially given my medical history of never having a cavity. So, I trusted my intuition, and went to my longtime dentist back home in CA while home for thanksgiving. Guess what? I have ZERO CAVITIES. Dr Kohda is a complete fraud. it is sickening how she was so adamant about drilling into my perfectly healthy teeth. GET A SECOND OPINION!!! They even had the audacity to give me a follow up call with regard to when I could come in and do the procedure. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD! If I could give 0 stars, I would. She literally wanted to drill into THREE of my perfectly healthy teeth. I have already followed up with my insurance with regard to this matter and look forward to taking action with the state of Colorado. My hometown dentist is a true rockstar, and was sickened to realize what this other dentist attempted to do. As other people have said, would recommend just about anywhere else if you can depending on your insurance plan. Always felt pressured into paying extra money for things I didn't need, something I've not experienced at other dentists. Then, after having no cavities for 27 years, after going to them twice I had 5 (with a bill of ~$550 WITH insurance). I'm not absolving myself of any blame, these are my teeth and I didn't floss enough. But clearly I've gotten better care in the past. Anyways, I got second opinions from 2 other dentists and their prices would have cost about half that (WITHOUT insurance). So I will not be returning. Also, not very pleased in the manner they brought this up. She said "apart from that everything looks good" and slapped me with a $550 bill. DO NOT GO HERE. I should have read the reviews before going here. I went for a semi-annual cleaning back in May. The hygienist I had was great, but the dentist is a total mess. She was overbooked and did not have time to see me after the cleaning and I was asked to come back on another date to finish the exam and have cavities filled. When I got there for my second appointment I had to wait 20 minutes for the dentist to see me and she said that she had no time to fill my cavities and that I would need to schedule a THIRD appointment. When I came back for my third appoint, the new hygienist was not familiar with my chart and was confused what I was there for. When I explained that I was told I had 4 cavities that needed filling, the dentist said that she only had time to fill 2 of my 4 cavities. Frustrated and not wanting to waste anymore time, I went ahead with the 2 fillings. The dentist number my mouth and had me sit in the chair for 45 minutes while she worked on other patients. When she finally came back into the room she was bragging to me how many patients she worked on while I was "numbing up". Throughout the entire procedure she was telling me how her online reviews are terrible - WHILE SHE WAS WORKING ON MY TEETH. She also was telling me how she saw early signs of decaying in my teeth, which no dentist has ever told me. I got a second opinion and they said my teeth were totally fine. It took her over an hour to fill 2 teeth - I went to a different dentist and was numbed and had the other 2 cavities filled in 20 minutes. Lastly, the office billed me incorrectly. The receptionist did not listen to my concern that I was billed incorrectly. I had to call my insurance to confirm that the charges were wrong by about $170. The office was trying to just give me a credit for my next office visit because they claimed it would be too hard to get refunded. The office has not been responding to my calls and the receptionist is always busy when I want to ask for status update. I've since just disputed the charge with my credit card company since the office has not refunded me in over 2 months from my complaint. read more

Went here to check on my oral health overall. They told me that I had bad gum disease with very bad root decay and would need this expensive and painful procedure that would take 2 days of procedures. They said they "didn't even want to do a cleaning because they would do it then". This scared me and I scheduled immediately (but they didn't have anything for over 3 weeks) and they told me it's cost me almost $2k out of pocket after insurance. They then sent me off with a $50/ bottle of PerioMed to brush with until then. I had a trip home planned before then and decided to go to my family dentist and have another opinion. I get there and my dentist told me that I had no disease, my roots looked great and all I needed was a deep cleaning because it had been awhile since my last cleaning. The hygienist then told me she used to work for a dentist that gave commission for these procedures that they were going to do on me and that almost all the time we're not needed in most situations and is very painful. I'm super disappointed in Perfect Teeth and will be making sure to tell everyone I know that they should avoid ALL of these places because of you can't even trust your "medical professionals" about what's best for their patients then what are we supposed to do. SHAME ON YOU PERFECT TEETH for putting some extra money ahead of your integrity and the trust people should be able to put in you. I will be researching wether or not this can be reported elsewhere because you were willing to put me in debt and lie to me about what's going on and that is wrong and dishonest. I called Perfect Teeth on Speer Blvd. to make an appointment because I was thinking of switching dentists. I asked if they accepted my insurance and they said yes, but then I asked if they were in-network (which is different) and I needed to know because I only have in-network coverage. The receptionist wouldn't verify even though it's her job to do so and simply told me I had to call my insurance. I told her I had already called and they had given me a list of providers to call, but that as a final measure I had to verify with the dental office too, just in case. She bounced the ball back to me and basically said she couldn't be bothered to check and that I just had to call my insurance to find out. Super unprofessional. I called my insurance to double check. They said only a few dentists at their office were in-network, so they suggested I call Perfect Teeth back and verify which dentist they had assigned to me. When I called back I got the same receptionist and she was super unhelpful and seemed annoyed that I had even called back. The cleaning was fine, but the bookkeeping, folllow-up billing, and scheduling are way off-kilter. It was (and continues to be) a hassle and I'm finding another place. -I don't know about the dental work, because the dentist took the day off for my cleaning and exam- and they didn't call me to reschedule, or even tell me that she wasn't there until I was in the chair. So, I asked if she could review my X-rays and call me to tell me if I needed to make another trip, they agreed, and then I heard nothing. -they send multiple text messages to confirm your appointment and then don't read the replies requesting a cancellation. - I paid my balance at the appointment, and yesterday I got (in the same mail delivery) a bill for zero dollars (saying my insurance had paid the expected amount), AND a separate letter (not a bill) saying that insurance had NOT paid the expected amount, and that I owed them $51. Huh? Thanks for giving me another follow-up item. - And, the X-rays were ridiculously painful- I've never had such old, clunky equipment jammed in my mouth for X-rays before. By itself, thus wouldn't keep me from going back, but they should consider upgrading. read more

Went to another dentist today after seeing the Perfect Teeth scammers. I don't have gum disease, like you told me. My new dentist said my teeth are very healthy. I may have a cavity because there was a little decay on one tooth, but they said I'm not there yet. Perfect Teeth told me I had gum disease! You told me you wouldn't even clean my teeth unless I had the $2000 procedure to scrape my gums. Oh and the bone loss you said I had, nope, not true either. I had previously been going to Hilltop Dental, where my dentist, Dr. Fainberg, told me I had a cavity on my last visit. As someone who brushes twice daily and flosses almost daily, I was surprised by this--my first cavity. He told me that he had noticed a cavity forming on my last visit--a notable issue; however, something he failed to mention to me--and said that he was watching to see if it had grown. At this visit he stated that my cavity he had been watching, but never mentioned, had grown, and I should address it ASAP. I neglected to schedule my "needed filling", as I was turned off by the fact that he had supposedly seen this cavity forming, but never said so. One week later I came here, to Perfect Teeth. I told both the dental hygienist and the dentist my story. They both actively searched for cavities, and they found nothing. My dental hygienist was incredibly helpful--I learned things I've never known in my 28 years of flossing and brushing. read more

I was skeptical of a chain-based dental office, however, I was proven wrong big time and this is a great location. Dr. Patricia is very quick, talented and runs a great office. She's also very kind and straightforward, also practical and was able to fill 4 cavities that I definitely needed done without numbing me. I have had some bad experiences in the past with new dentists and this office is very high integrity. You can tell that the staff likes working there which says a lot. Happy patients makes happy employees (tough to like working somewhere when your customers hate you). I am really happy to have found this place and have a dentist I trust and can go to every 6 months. My girlfriend also goes to another location and has for a long time and is very happy with it as well. read more

I have only been here once, so I cannot attest to dr. khoda yet, but I simply cannot rave enough about their office manager, Ashley. She went truly over the moon for me to help find an endodontist that could get me in ASAP to do a molar root canal that was causing me SEVERE PAIN. Unfortunately, most endodontists don't accept my particular dental insurance, but she found a couple that did and called them all to book whoever had the earliest appointment. When I emailed her the next morning at 6am to say I was in too much pain to wait, she then called all over Denver to see who else could get me in, get their estimates and how they could work with me. She was able to get me in that same morning with a great endo down the street from me. No one has ever gone so far out of their way to accommodate me and send my business somewhere. I was amazed and am SO grateful for all of her help!! I am now a loyal patient to to this office just because of Ashley! read more

I went here in August 2019 (takes my insurance and convenient location). I was told that I had one cavity that needed drilling, one tooth that needed a crown, and one tooth the needed a root canal (and this last one was supposedly a pressing issue). Because I've never really had issues with my teeth, I called in after I left to obtain my xrays to send to my old dentist in a different city. They refused to give them to me, and then when I would try calling back, I would get hung up on if they answered and I said who I was, and then they just stopped answering. Fast forward almost a year. Went to a different dentist within the same chain (Perfect Teeth). They were able to get the xrays after 30 minutes, and the new dentist looked at the xrays and the recommended treatment (which was still in my file). Turns out, all of my teeth are COMPLETELY fine and in really good shape. Not even a cavity, let alone a need for a crown or a root canal. They also charged me when they weren't supposed to by miscoding my treatment. Do not go here. read more

I'm new to the area and needed to see a dentist for pain/sensitivity. I've kept up with dental care and really wasn't looking forward to having to find a new dentist. I did a lot of research and decided for several reasons to go to Perfect Teeth. It was a good decision. Everyone from the time I walked in to the time I left, was very attentive. I left there feeling confident about my care plan. The office is small and in a good location with ample parking (which is really important for me). It's not pretentious which is great because that just means the cost of bells and whistles won't be passed on to me. And I especially like the diversity of the staff. read more

This office is crooked. I had a standard cleaning done with fluoride work and irrigation. I worked with the front desk representatives to understand what my out-of-pocket costs would be with my MAJOR insurance carrier (Delta). I was quoted at $42 out of pocket, with the understanding that fluoride work isn't covered. I got my bill from Delta. Not only is fluoride not covered, neither is irrigation. Perfect Teeth failed for a few reasons: - Their front desk agents were too lazy to call and verify what my insurance covered - They never informed me that the quote they gave me WASN'T insurance verified - And, finally, although I understand an invoice is just a "quote", I expect variations of 5% - not 105%. (For reference, I was billed $48 ON TOP of the $42 I already paid) This is absolutely unacceptable. Perfect Teeth came up with excuses saying they can't work with Delta over the phone and that quotes are the best they can do. Once I called Delta, I learned that simply isn't true. PRO: hygienists (Maria and Cathy) are absolutely wonderful and seem on par with hygienists I've met at higher end practices CON: very high turnover seems to guarantee you will never see the same doctor twice. Perfect Teeth has difficulty following their own basic procedures for an office visit. RECOMMENDATION: go to a different dental practice if you can afford it Full story: We had to go to a Perfect Teeth location based on our dental insurance coverage. We chose this location in early 2016 based on relatively good reviews compared to other Perfect Teeth locations, and we were aware of some of the negative feedback on Yelp. First visit on 3/2/16 seemed to go well and I left pleasantly surprised by my experience. The doctor (who has since left) was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The hygienist (Maria) was top notch! Second visit on 12/29/16 was my last. Before doing an exam or even touching me the new doctor diagnosed 4 cavities requiring fillings from my xrays taken 3/2. She seemed genuinely alarmed that the previous doctor had not mentioned this. The assistant in the room said there were no signatures related to my previous visit in March. When I asked if we should take new xrays to check for more cavities or further problems before proceeding with a bunch of fillings, the doctor said that was not necessary because the xrays were not a year old. I'll give the new doctor and current staff the benefit of the doubt... maybe they are more competent than the previous full set of staff at this location. But maybe not. The fact that Perfect Teeth seems to have high turnover and difficulty following simple office visit procedures with all patients means that I now have 4 (maybe more) cavities that are nearly a year beyond when they should have been filled. This is 4 more cavities than I have had in the last 20 years! I contacted Perfect Teeth corporate by phone and quickly heard back from Rhonda who assured me she would look into it and get back to me. Vicki from corporate called me today (she oversees the region this office falls into) and listened to the issues, offering me a second opinion from another Perfect Teeth doctor. While I appreciated their courteous responses to my complaints, the organization should probably turn their efforts toward patient care. As someone who takes excellent care of my teeth I have decided to go elsewhere. I suggest you do the same if you can afford it! You really get what you pay for at these low price dental providers and I don't think it's worth risking your oral health. read more

This is honestly the best dentist office I've ever been to. Each person that works there is nice and gentle, they understand the anxiety that some patients get being at the dentist. One thing I really cherish is the fact that the doctors take time to explain things and make sure you understand what's going on before you're just charged with a bill for things you can't break down. One of the best dental experiences I have ever had. I stopped going to my previous dentist (Stamm Dental) because they weren't up front about the cost of my work. I was quoted ~$80 for a few fillings and ended up with a $700+ bill (with insurance) that took me a year to pay off as a student. After loosing one of those pricey fillings, I went to Perfect Teeth to get it repaired. Dr. Jessica Mervau is wonderful and so are all of her staff. They were communicative and up front about the work I needed and they checked with insurance before anything was done to confirm its cost. I moved here from a different Perfect teeth location that I was at for years. Straight away Josie had everything scheduled, pulled up my insurance and got me transferred with no problems. I was amazed at how professional she was compared to my previous office.
