So he called another Dentist and we met at Dr. Langenfeld's office where his friend took care of me, with some assistance, as much as he could, from Dr. Langenfeld. I have EXTREME TMJ and she was very patient with me, let me take several breaks when my jaw would start hurting to rest it. I was here 6 months ago and it was really bare bones in the back, but the waiting area was mostly set up and it was already gorgeous. Came for my visit today and much more was in place. The artwork on the walls is very tasteful. The equipment is state of the art. They have tv's mounted on the ceiling so you barely notice the time passing while having dental work done. If you need x-rays, they do them in the same treatment room with a handheld camera so you don't need to be moving all around. From the minute I walked in, I felt like it was a personal experience. Didn't have to do anything to check in, they immediately told me they'd take me back in just a few minutes (which they did), and they talked to me on a personal level remembering what we had talked about last time, asking about my family, etc. They either have amazing memories or take good notes, but either way it's nice to feel at home. The hygienist and the doctor both had excellent bedside manner while also being very informative of everything they were doing along the way. They are even very pleasant when telling you you need to floss more -- not at all in a nagging way! Haha :) During the visit, they took me to their pamper station where I got a paraffin hand wax treatment done to further the pleasant experience. On this visit I had less than 5 minute wait time both in the beginning to be taken back and when waiting for the Dentist. I would highly recommend Dr Baller's office to all!

I've been to see Dr Wallace about 3 times this year, once for a check up and twice for fillings…read more Every time I've had good experiences and all of the assistants, hygienists and Dr Wallace have been very kind, knowledgeable, informative and understanding. Dr Wallace gives you a call the next day to make sure you're ok too, which is a nice little touch. The office and waiting areas are always clean and tidy, no clutter and very professional. I did have a shock after my first visit for fillings. I didn't realise how expensive they were. As it turns out, the new lady at the desk had forgotten to give me the estimate and I didn't think to ask for one. After I paid, I got the estimate for the rest of the fillings, and on my most recent visit, Dr Wallace was very apologetic. I should have received the estimate prior to any work being done. He gave me a discount and made sure I was 100% ok to continue. He was so sincere and I trust him so we're all good now.

I'm extremely frustrated by this entire experience, from being coerced into unnecessary work to the poor quality of care, and now being blindsided by a collections bill years later. When I learn, I share the knowledge. For my recent dental work involving four crowns with an out-of-pocket cost of $8,000, Delta Dental and MetLife collectively paid out only $1,000. Upon reviewing my policy and consulting with Delta Dental, I discovered that their payout structure is based on the amount I've paid into the system, essentially functioning like a savings program. Furthermore, due to having a bridge installed four years ago, I was informed by the insurance company that Delta and MetLife won't cover any work in the same tooth area for five years. It's crucial to thoroughly examine your insurance policy, considering deductibles and previous dental work within specific timeframes, as this significantly impacts your coverage. Perhaps considering an alternative approach, like a personal savings plan for dental expenses, might be more beneficial. Delta made 9 billion in revenue 2024.
