Creek Bar seems to be a new bar in the Chesapeake area! I arrived around 5pm on a Thursday and it wasn't very busy. Just a few people at the bar and at the tables. They didn't have a big happy hour deal, just $1 beers. The speciality cocktails were about $12, but the martinis were good! The menu isn't very big, but they have some regular bar food. The chicken sandwich wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great. Could've used more seasoning. I think that being a new establishment, they may have kinks to work out. I have eaten at this bar many times. I have also joined several friends to listen to local bands. I met several friends at the bar to listen to a band. I arrived around 8pm and ordered food. I never received my order. I flagged down the waitress to remind her of my order. I still didn't get my order. The music was loud and overwhelming. They also played what sounded like the same song over and over all night. They made improvements to the game area. That's ok but no one was back there playing games - only the pool area was used. They should have expanded the dance floor and improved service. I like the food in the past but it was bad all around tonight. Please turn down the damn music. I enjoyed my Creek burger! It was perfectly cooked and the fries were delicious too. The staff is friendly. I love the space. The decor is so nice , the tables are Epoxy resin tables that have scenery inside them. I unexpectedly went on the night they had karaoke. The crowd was amazing and welcoming ! You get a real local feel. I haven't sat at the bar but it looked spacious and inviting. I also ordered the street corn!!! You must try the street corn on your visit. We had the youth of our generation, from around the Tidewater area and Northeast North Carolina (our beloved Sister State / OBX), playing music and throwing down on some great rock and roll!!!! After 45 minutes I got an order of bacon. 20 minutes later after everyone had gotten their food I got my remaining food but I was ready to leave. Good: Avocado toast was good and served with 2 eggs. By the time I got it I would scarf anything down. Management blamed it on the server but he had only one waitress for 20+ people then he blamed the delay on multiple checks. Get a grip. The waitress should go elsewhere to work. She would have a better boss! Menu is Alacart no lunch/dinner menu till 3pm on Sunday. No draft beer They display ads for mixed drinks only on table. Wednesday afternoon visit. Beautiful layout with the space they have. Greeted warmly at the door and seated promptly. The first thing you may notice is this incredible blue floor. We selected our meals from the happy hour menu (4-7pm) but also the regular menu. The calamari was unique and delicious, the fish and chips was fresh, flakey and tasty. The Parmesan truffle fries were also delicious. They have karaoke tonight and live music on other evenings. I see this as a great place to go for a meal that is a cut above what you would expect as well as a sports bar and entertainment venue for local bands. We will certainly return. read more

Wife and I went for the first time tonight. They've been open about a month and a half. Menu is limited (hopefully will expand) and they're working on getting draft beer BUT everything else was excellent. The service was fast, courteous and thoughtful (extra napkins without asking). The pizza was very good and my wife enjoyed the cauliflower crust. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. They have happy hours and live music in the evening. Been there a few times. They've done a nice job of fixing the place up. Always have good bands playing. That's the good part. Food is mostly bar food and it's 50/50 at best. My hamburger was undercooked and the bun was way too big. Fries were OK. My wife had the Chicken sandwich. It was average. Neither hers nor mine came with any dressing. Had to ask for it. The waitress told us they were out of shrimp, yet we saw someone else eating them. They're understaffed. I waited 30 minutes for a beer from our waitress. They're didn't seem to be an adult in charge. It'll be a while before we go back. read more

This is a great bar to have some drinks and hang out. Britney is a great bartender and you never have to wait for your drinks . Fantastic area for pool and free darts . Food is average , mediocre tacos with floppy cold tortillas. I have eaten there 3 times and the best thing i had was trying my kids fried shrimp. The food at Creek Bar was delicious. My husband and I went for dinner and drinks. we both agree that the food was many steps up from the local bar food. I ordered the special loaded bake potato. It was so yummy, and I couldn't finish it. I was able to enjoy it the next day for breakfast. My husband ordered the BLT with fries. He can't stop talking about how good it was. The total bill was less than $40, and that was with three beers. Definitely a nice date night place and I am looking forward to returning. read more

We decided to try something new as oppose to our usual Mexican or seafood favorites in Great Bridge. We have been in the Great Bridge area for years and we have been going there since it was Woody's and then Gator's. First thought when we walked in was it looked like a nightclub due to the lighting and floors, but the bar and tables appeared to be the same. We were immediately greeted by a young "man" that sat us immediately. The waitress also appeared to be very young and friendly. However, when asked what Tequila's they had she stated she doesn't drink, so she didn't know. I'm thinking she needs more training. An employee should be more knowledgeable if they want to seem more professional. I inquired about the chicken sandwich and she stated it was fried, but I could get it grilled. The chicken sandwich arrived and it didn't appeared grilled to me. It appeared as though it had a buffalo' sauce on it, but there was no flavor to it. I ordered a margarita and it was extremely tart and I didn't finish it. The waitress checked once to ask if the food was okay and then we didn't see her again. I think they were having an impromptu meeting. We had to ask the young man that sat us if we could get our check. I will say the French fries were hot and were flavorful. However, that is the only positive feedback I can give them. We won't be returning to Creek Bar. I know the owners have put a lot of money and time in hopes to make this place a success, however, I didn't notice any management while we were dining. I also didn't get any feedback from the waitress that picked up my plate that was noticeably less than half eaten. I was hoping this would be a place that I would could continue to patron. read more
