Fairly nice location in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Visited on a Tuesday for a birthday celebration during their karaoke night. Loved the amount of seating they had to include what I assume was VIP areas on the little couches. Karaoke MCs were great and kept the crowd alive. 3.5 stars rounded down to 3. My friends ordered drinks and it literally took a good 10 minutes when the bar wasn't even that crowded. Can only imagine on the weekend. Flagging someone down then waiting for them to run our card was the longest. Ordered a tequila sunrise and I honestly think they forgot the orange juice in it. I understand more bang for my buck but my goodness! Also, happy hour deals aren't as good as I thought. $7 for our drinks still instead of $10, I assume. Fries were pretty okay. Had a little problem with forgotten food that had to be situated.

Went for Karaoke and had a ball. The food was actually delicious. Mind you, I was a bit skeptical about the cabbage because it had other veggies in it but man was it good! Curry chicken was great, spicy as heck too and Mac n cheese was the bomb. I would go here again just to try different food. The server was nice and attentive. No complaints at all.

I came on a Tuesday when they had karaoke for a friends birthday and it was a lot of fun. The drinks were good and so was the food. The reason it got 3 stars is because the bar tenders were so slow. And it wasn't crowded at all. I ordered a drink. Took 3 minutes to get it. Then had to wait FIVE MINUTES to get my card back. By the fine I got my card, my drink was almost empty. Very irritating. Also, happy hour wasn't the best when it comes to prices because the drinks are so small. And served in plastic cups. It was a nice time. Not my favorite.

I had planned on having lunch there and after seeing that they "now serve soul food" it was or so I thought perfect timing! Came in at lunch time to empty restaurant [*insert red ] waitress and I assume cook sitting at a table. Ordered fried chicken with two sides My first choice Mac & cheese (out- strike one) Mashed potatoes (out - strike two) My choices for sweet potatoes and greens were clearly right out of the can. Chicken over cooked strike three. Would love to give them a second chance but will think twice before venturing back. BTW Menu doesn't list prices !!!

I'm new to the area so I tend to try different places I run while going about my daily life and this no different. It happens to be in the same shopping center as national wing chain... Anyway, we decided to give this place a try for lunch today... I'm guessing the 5 star chef was out today because all of my food was disgusting. I ordered fried pork chops, mac and cheese, yam, and collard greens. The pork chops are so hard and tough it's ridiculous, the there was NO seasoning on the pork chops themselves, the breading was weirdly sweet and was reminiscent of funnel cake batter as far as the taste. Half the breading had fallen off, not to mention they were swimming in a pool of something until my breading that fell off soaked most of it up. I think they used all the seasoning in the mac and cheese. It tastes as if the shaker top fell off the onion /garlic powder mid shake or something, but the pork chops could've definitely used some... I mean I clearly see there is cheese in this dish but I all I taste is onion/garlic powder, no cheese flavor whatsoever. Although I like the fact they didn't cook the greens to death, they're not seasoned well and they are a little spicy (for no reason). The yams are so nasty they don't even warrant a mention. Epic waste of money and time.

Seated at a little at 6:00 PM almost 7:00 PM and still no service. Waitress has consistently walked passed us.

Slow and disorganized. One waitress on duty for a entire venue. If I wanted to be left alone and ignore, I could have stayed at home. Extremely disappointed.

All of the clubs here are either super lame or packed with a bunch of young college kids. Omega however had a nice mix of ages and the atmosphere was great. We arrived around 11:30pm and there wasn't a line outside but it was pretty full inside, which I don't mind for a nightclub. There was a $10 cover charge for ladies and gents, not too bad. The drinks were typically priced for a club ($12 for most mix drinks). The DJ was great. I believe his name was DJ Atrevete and he played a good mix of latin music (Reggaeton, bachata, merengue, and a few hip hop songs). There were a lot of men there like some previous reviews state however it's a club...that's to be expected. I will be going back next time I'm in town.

With the lack of Latin/Spanish dance/music available in the 757, this was nice. Manager was friendly. Bartenders nice as well.

This is a pretty cool venue!…read more Babe and I visited twice before I decided to write my review! So this latest visit was on a Friday night about 6pm. It was super chill around this time and this was probably because they just opened their doors for happy hour and the live band. We were able to get a booth seat right near the stage where the local band (Ramonta and friends) were performing. Oh how I could forget...the entry fee... FREE!!!! Let's see...not too crowded, FREE entry, FREE buffet, happy hour drink specials...oh yeah, I am loving this so far. I am not sure how long this club/lounge has been in existence, but I was completely unaware of its existence prior to coming. I can remember driving by some years ago and noticed this was a restaurant once before. But now, they have made great use of the space. So you walk up to the door...security is waiting to check ID and your purse ladies. Not sure if it ever gets slammed, but the two times I have visited there has been no wait in line. So I visited once before on a Wednesday night about 10 pm and again a few Fridays ago just as the club opened. Nevertheless, we walked in and straight ahead is the bar and kitchen area. There is seating located on the right and left side of the club. The right side, I would consider your low key area, so if you want to check out things sit here. But over here, you can't see the dance floor area. Therefore, you may need to get up and roam to check out the whole scene. The left side, where the stage is located, you have about 10 booth seats. These booths also surround the dance floor that's a pretty decent size. You can also view the parking lot from this area...window seating if you will. The DJ booth is located over here too. You can also catch the game on one of their many TVs in the spot. Now if this spot fills quickly it will be standing room only and that could be an issue because it's not super spacey, but just enough space to chill, eat, and dance. Capacity maybe about 150 comfortably. Oh the food...it was tasty. Before I found out they offered a happy hour buffet, we had already ordered food. But it was crazy because about 5 items I ordered previously were unavailable...huh??? What do you mean, you don't have ANYTHING I am ordering...sheeeeesh!!! But they had plenty of fried chicken though - aye yi yi!!! Oh well, we ordered fried drumettes and fried shrimp. So yeah I mentioned how not busy they were and how they JUST OPENED the doors on that Friday evening...so the kitchen clearly wasn't ready to serve. It took 45 mins to get a order of two wing baskets and a basket of shrimp...fries sold separately. Whew... despite the severe wait time, I look forward to returning. I can't knock a club for not having food ready. Now if it was restaurant and nothing more, oh we would have left E-ME-JET-LEE!!!! I am not a club hopper at this age, but back in the day.......owwww, this would have been my lay low spot!!! Not too turnt* not too live, but just enough vibe and drink and get your two step on and leave feeling niiiiice! So yeah, a nice, chill spot with live music and a poppin DJ, I'm with it every now and then. As a result, this place foots the bill - SOLID. Not sure of the age requirements, but I'm guessing 25 and up...but mature crowd indeed - those I partied with on both nights were A OK!!! Private parking lot - Drinks Good - Waitstaff Friendly - I'd recommend you visit here if you enjoy urban music, hip hop, RnB - similar genres. Have fun :)

Well it was more of an 'appearance' but she did perform for at least 20 minutes. I was pleased, but I did hear mixed chatter throughout the night. We arrived about 9 pm, but she didn't take the stage until 1:15 am or even later. We only paid $25 each for the tickets, but it was cool for what it was. The DJ was on point and the crowd was cool. A bit rowdy, but the majority of the crowd was 20 something. My almost 40 something self probably didn't have no business being here, but Trina brought the people out - ranging from 21 to 40+. The drinks were on point, pricey after a certain time. But you'll want to get there for happy hour and pay happy hour prices. Nevertheless, the vibe was cool and I recommend you give this place a try. If you are looking for a nightlife vibe. I spoke with some of the party goers and even the attendant in the restroom advised the busiest and perhaps 'best' night are Friday nights. I am not sure what she defines as 'best', but I assume it's packed on those nights. Nevertheless, I have witnessed different parties of all walks of life take place at this venue. Perhaps, check out the spots IG or Facebook page for specifics. As a result, it may not always be 'rowdy', but go at your own risk, I just suggest you inquire first to see if the party goers are to your liking... RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae etc. If you prefer a chill crowd, I suggest you arrive before 7 pm to check out Happy Hour and order a meal or appetizer. The spot is located in a shopping center and there is plenty of parking. Located between Ollies and the Bingo Hall. You will enter through the Bamboo Room and the lounge is located in the back. The area inside is a good size and the sound system was straight too. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Great attitude, attentive, and things actually came out in a timely manner. Love to see it. I ordered a mojito and they did not play in my face. Made it properly with club soda instead of Sprite, so points were definitely earned there. Now... the food? Yeah, we need to talk. We ordered the brunch special, oxtails with biscuits and gravy. First of all, I'm almost positive that was pot roast in an oxtail costume. Let's start there. The biscuits? Giving frozen-from-a-bag, baked a little too long for good measure. But the real villain of the plate was that gravy. Because what do you mean this clearly didn't come from the meat? It tasted like it came straight out of a jar... probably store brand at that. And I'm just confused because gravy is literally one of the easiest things to make if you already cooked the meat. Why are we cutting corners here? So yes, we were seated quickly, treated well, and the drinks were solid. But the food? Absolutely not. If you're coming here hungry and expecting a good meal (which I was), please eat before you arrive. If you're coming for drinks, music, and a good vibe, then you'll have a great time.

Cover!!!! Yeah, I forgot what it was to pay a cover. Ha. Once inside, we chose a table. The space is very spacious and has the usual hookah lounge decor and setup. There was about 9 people inside but the DJ was rockinnnnnnnnnn. I'm talking hit after hit and I was so excited that the DJ understood how to mix, blend, and play reggae. The service was... let me say this, for there to have been 13 people by 11am, service was below standard as it was super slow and bland. As the menu looked amazing online I was excited to eat. I decided on the Beef Burger and baby listen... it was trash. One - The bun was HARD and STALE. Two - The burger was of a lower quality to the point that the chargrill flavor that I love didn't even taste right. However, the fries were bombbbbbbbb. Extra crispy. Perfect saltiness and pretty golden color. Overall, it was... (insert a word here that represents my aggravation). Nonetheless, if you just wanna kick it, hear a BOMB DJ, and blow Hookah... The last time I set foot inside their Pleasure House Rd location was at least 10 years ago. I celebrated my birthday there as my friends were kind enough to take me out. It was a Sunday morning and I sought out a place that offered brunch. I noticed 1608 was open and decided to head over, especially since I haven't visited them in ages. When I walked in, I noticed their dining room is dimly lit - much darker than I remember. I was greeted immediately by a kind hostess and she proceeded to sit me at a nearby table and provided me with menus (one food, one alcohol). I took my time looking over the food menu, and in the meantime I ordered a pint of Center of the Universe's Bald Irishman and a bottle of Boylan's Black Cherry soda (they do not have a soda fountain). What made this visit memorable was that 1608's bartender, Hunter, was an old acquaintance from back in my restaurant days. He spotted me and came over to say hi. After my meal, I continued to catch up with him at the bar. His presence made a pleasant experience even more fantastic. I thought I was hungry, so I ordered 2 dishes - Smoked Ham Fried Rice and the Breakfast Burrito. According to Hunter, every item is made fresh in house. After biting into each, you could tell that's true. Both the fried rice and burrito were delicious and boasted lots of flavor. Although I prefer my fried rice a bit simpler (if you give me just garlic fried rice, I am SET), 1608's fried rice (veggies, garlic, soy, basmati rice, 2 runny eggs, smoked ham) had a lot going on, which made for a flavorful dish. I liked the rice and the burrito (Korean style fried chicken breast, scrambled eggs, cilantro lime, cheddar, pico de gallo) a lot. I didn't finish either because it was a lot of food (I really thought I was hungry, haha). But these leftovers turned into a fantastic dinner later on. 1608 looked clean and organized, although I thought it was a little too dark inside, at least for brunch service. That's not a dealbreaker since everything from the food to the service was as excellent as I remember. I hope to return soon with my mom. Regardless, I'll find my way back eventually. Thank you, 1608 Crafthouse! And great seeing you again, Hunter! JV
