We are fortunate to have two homes. In our first home we purchased nearly $23K worth of windows and doors from Scott, we thought he did a decent job back then, so now we asked him to provide a quote for our second home (two weeks ago), he came to the house and measured the windows and front door. He told us he would have us a quote in a few days. It's been 12 days and he has never once followed up or contacted us, i went to his store to ask where our quote was on Monday (9 days after his visit to the house) and he said he would have it to us later that day or on Tuesday. Today is Thursday so i called his office for the third time since Tuesday to see where our quote was. We just received a simple email today (Thursday),after waiting two weeks, and he stated that he decided to not accept anymore work right now...WTF ?? Purchased a pre hung garage side door from Scott. Mostly dealt with his niece but Scott seemed nice enough. When the door came in Scott called and set up an appointment for installation. Called me a day before and asked if he could push it a day as his installer was dealing with a personal issue (which was no problem and I appreciated the call). Now the best part. The installation "crew" was one guy named Jay. I haven't met a guy with such pride in his work in a long time. This guy was the best door installer I've ever seen. My door frame was not what you would call a standard fit, so the pre hung door I purchased was not a "plug and play" job. Jay ended up staying past 5:00 PM (he arrived at 07:30AM) to make this right. He realized the original house frame he had left on the outside was going to make the door look crooked and went off to local hardware to get some replacement wood. Then after having to custom cut this wood to make it look straight, he fixed the lock so that the key matched my house key. This guy was amazing.....no one better to hang your door. If you want speed and don't care about it being hung in the best way possible then this is not your guy. But if you understand that hanging a door is not an easy thing to do, and want it done right no matter how long it takes, then ask for Jay. read more

No Pressure Sales I found it very low pressure to work with Creative Windows, Doors & Remodeling.We purchased new Milgard windows for a house we are selling. They were right on time delivering and installing the windows. It only took them half a day to install seven windows and a sliding door. We have used Creative Window and Door since 1999. We took a "chance" with Scott back then because he was the lowest price around. However, he delivered exactly what we ordered, on-time, and the installation was flawless. We then used him several times over the ensuing years to complete the window replacement throughout the house. Then in 2012 we moved and needed the windows redone. My first (and only call) was to Scott. He came out the next day and again, the installation was flawless. I have recommended Creative Window and Door to all my family as well as my neighbors. Good price compared to other stores in the TO area. Now comes the bad part: installation. The installation crew is definitely NOT a professional one. Their work was way below my expectations. Their attitude was " put it in and get out of here quick". A couple of windows was installed with problems. I couldn't shut them without applying force. Sloppy work. There was no supervision of the installers. I had to be with them to direct them. They even scratched my ceiling with a window and had no desire to fix it. After I complained, Scott was nice enough to send out the painters to fix the ceiling afterward. My advise is to require Scott to verify the installation after it's done before you sign off.The whole process from ordering to completion took over 2 months. read more

We purchased 8 new Milguard windows through Creative Windows and Doors from Scott Williams in April 2016 and his guys did all of the installations. On Jan. 22, we found a steady stream of rain water coming in from the top of the new downstairs bathroom window, causing significant water damage in the ceiling, wall, and molding near the floor. We called Scott, who assessed the window two days later and his response was that they probably weren't the cause of the leak, that it was probably a problem that was there before. He had his guys (the original installers) come out three days later and reseal the window but has not responded with our efforts to come to an agreement as to how to cover the cost of the significant water damage in the bathroom. We are still addressing this problem one month later. Tonight, Feb. 18 at 12:38 a.m., my husband who is fighting a cold so he's sleeping in the guest room, awoke to hear consistent dripping coming from the top of that window as well. We've taken videos of it and will call tomorrow at 10 a.m., but this newly discovered leak only reinforces that it IS an issue with Creative Windows and their failure to correctly install, insulate, and properly seal the new windows to keep weather elements out. There is no foam insulation at the top of the window, which we took pictures of, and there is a gap with no sealant at the center top of the window. Our carpet is wet, the window sill saturated, and it's now 2:02 a.m. We are exhausted with two small children and do not need the additional stress of dealing with a job poorly done and a company who chooses not to take responsibility for the damage. Do yourself a favor and go with another company. I do not recommend this company to anyone. read more

At first was very happy with our new windows 8 years ago. After just 2 years we began to get heavy leaks through the top seals. The problem is not the windows, it's how they were installed. Scott sent someone out to re cock a couple times over the years but won't answer my phone calls anymore. Clearly wants us to go away. When you spend a bunch of money for new windows you expect them to keep the rain water out for years to come. Sadly, I have a constant problem with leaks year in and year out. I'll probably have to hire a contractor to fix this mess since re cocking is a temp solution only. It's never fun having to stress about leaks every time it rains. Make sure you ask your window guy about the best way to install the windows properly to avoid what we have gone through. Hopefully your window guy cares enough to make it right.. I called and left two messages over the last two weeks and no return call. I even offered to pay for help on something that should have been done right the first time. read more

The drywall and stucco, and framing the two windows were done so well I can not notice where the old windows were. Jose and Domingo did the drywall/stucco and Chris and Emidio did the construction and window replacement. All of them are fantastic at their jobs. Well, I waited 2 weeks to see if Scott or anyone from creative Windows to call me back. The windows are beautiful, but you get what u pay for in other ways. The customer service is awful. The first mistake was the installer putting in our windows dirty and a bug is smashed in between the screen. I expected clean windows installed. Scott knows that the windows are up so high there is no possible way for us to clean. It's just common sense. The installers blow in a blowout so fast you don't even have a chance to check anything. Watch these guys closely if you use this company. After 2 phone calls and speaking to the receptionist still no return call. It's really too bad, I wouldn't be much happier if I was writing a nice review about you Scott. read more

I had two sliders put in, one 144" and the other standard, it took them about 5 hours to demo and install.
