I contacted this company as I was referred by a friend and wanting to get glass tops to protect some of my furniture that my mover didn't destroy (that's a whole nother review). Anyhoo, these folks were so friendly and helpful. The person I was told to call wasn't in, so I spoke to Doris. She was very helpful, and guided me through the process and explained what I needed. I haven't received my order yet, but I am sure it will be fine, I will update this review later. UPDATE: My order was delivered on Christmas eve day. The installers were quick and professional, everything fit to a t. They even left me some cleaner and a cloth. Had 2 large custom mirrows made, after a year of being installed, there was a manufacturer defect, they charged me to reinstall the new mirtows $400.00. My experience has not been pleasant here. My purchase of a shower base went bad when I drove 35 miles to pick it up at the store and as they were loading it, the employee showed me it was cracked. Initial response from them was to have it repaired but I insisted I wanted a brand new one. I did in fact receive a new one and they delivered it. The owner promised to be more involved in my shower install. Then I had my glass shower enclosure installed. The silicone job was a mess with large gaps and silicone smears/gobs. They came out 3 times total. On the last trip out here, they sent a sarcastic employee who had no idea why he was coming to my home, in fact he asked me what I didn't like about the silicone job. To top it off, he questioned and scolded me for not letting him in earlier than our scheduled 2p appointment time. He had been sitting in my drive at 130p for 1/2 hour. Not sure why I had to explain myself but I told him I wasn't home until 2 and I came in the back door. I have a second bathroom remodel coming up and I will steer clear of Creative Mirror. read more

I had an extreme custom Sandblast | Etched | Engraved Biparting Master Bath Entry Glass Door Project that I entrusted the Creative Mirror and Shower Team with. Owner Mark Pritikin promised that if I could exercise patience, his team would do an amazing job. True to his word and commitment, they did! Glass Artist Scott Williams took my original picture and transformed it into a work of art on these doors! I had asked him to utilize his artistic impression and license to make something special. Starting with a picture of the mountain - Sierra Blanca (White Mountain) - that towered above Ruidoso, NM, my home town, Scott began to visualize the custom project he would deliver. In our ideation sessions, Scott asked for input on his thoughts as we worked toward the final design. As we moved through the consultations, Scott shared how he would use the clear glass as the mid tone, and then through Etching | Sandblasting | Engraving bring out the light and dark sections of the mountains and trees. Scott suggested adding additional visual elements to the foreground so that it was not just a field of snow. Because of his suggestions, I shared with him more about my little hometown, leading to him incorporating the Rio Ruidoso (Noisy Water) river and Lake Bonito (Beautiful Lake) into the design. While the sky in the original picture was clear, Scott also incorporated some beautiful clouds, a light snowing effect, and a small bird hidden in one of the trees! As Yoda would say . . . Simply amazing these doors are! Early on, others on the Glass Art Team - Including Andy Mack and Gramos Krasniqi also played a part in the product layout and black and white contrast effects. When the artwork was complete, Caryn Castellanos was prompt and efficient with scheduling and follow-up for the installation. She also helped me in obtaining the proper glass cleaning supplies for this special piece. Mark and his Glass Shop Director - Tim Gile - entrusted Enrigue and Sam for the installation. I'd already done my research and knew in advance that Enrique is who I wanted leading the install. These two were most professional during their time in my home. They protected not only the glass, but the walls and carpets as they moved their install equipment in. Enrique and Sam were diligent and deliberate in their work, fine tuning every aspect of the doors and hardware during installation (So happy I had them as at one point, in my dreams, I thought I could have completed the install on my own - They definitely showed me how far off I was in my thoughts). They arrived timely (and even a bit earlier than I had expected) and stayed until I was highly satisfied. Enrique and Sam also took the time to install the extra door stops I had provided to ensure these fantastic doors were protected. All in all - The doors are simply masterpieces! As a surprise gift to my wife, Kim, who did not know the details of what I was working on as the months went by, she was simply blown away when she got to see them for the first time yesterday! I found creative mirror & shower door online for a customer shower door that we need for a small bathroom we renovated in our basement. The sales rep Matt was responsive. He was flexible with scheduling a remote session to go over my requirements. He explained the process that was quite simple. In a 5 days, Lance came to our home to take the measurements of the shower space and in 7 days we received the shower door that was installed by Warren and Lance, who were also very professional and courteous. Warren and Lance finished the installation of the shower door in an hour and did a great job. Thank you very much for making it an easy process. Excellent result in our completely gutted and remodeled master bathroom. The staff at Creative Mirror were very helpful and made the entire process easy. The pricing was fair. The products were amazing! The installers (Sam & Jesus) were super nice and professional. There work was impeccable. We now have a beautiful shower with a super cool "low iron" glass wall that really looks amazing. We opted for 2 mirrors that are raised up and and away from the drywall for a custom look over our sinks. This was a very nice upgrade that replaced the builder installed mirrors that were glued to the drywall. Creative Mirror suggested this as a way to enhance the appearance. They were spot on. I'm reposting my review because this is one in the same company with the other location in Chicago. While it's clear they are trying to raise the bar on their customer service both in their business and on yelp, I feel it's only fair that the review be applied to all their locations. It seems Yelp is overposting the company locations when it's the same entity. I have used this company for two different projects now. Previously, I have used Ashland Glass for a lot of work done in my home- but the difference between the two companies is PRODUCT. If you like a cheap product on a budget, this place isn't for you. What Creative Mirror uses is QUALITY. That being said, my Condo is my home and there is no place for garbage here. I want something that will last, so I'm not fixing it tomorrow. Creative's product is bar none, the best I've had. I just had new Raumplus mirroed closet doors installed (German Engineered) and they are the highest quality (DEAD SILENT) doors I've ever used. Not cheap, but again- you get what you pay for. You would be very wise with this company- or any other for that matter, to THOUROUGLY explain your project needs and wants. I've seen many reviews where "projects gone wrong" and I think it's important that all your expectations be discussed up front. If you hand someone the check and say "this is what I want"- in such a precarious manner, don't be suprised when it's done incorrectly, that applies to ANY contractor. My entire home has been remodled from top to bottom so I know what I'm talking about. That way if it's screwed up later you have ground to walk on. My project was no easy task and the outcome was 100% perfect. The roadblocks and things to expect were dicussed up front with me- a very motivating factor in me moving forward with my decision (no suprises). Best of all, the timeline was perfect. I was actually suprised how quickly they got everything done. Bottom line, the work they did was fantastic and I would return again for any future projects. I want to finally add, that the owner isn't some lazy ass that doesn't get involved when needed, in his customer's projects. All too often you can hire a company and you dont' know who the hell is running things. The owner Mark, had kept me in the loop from start to finish. Great job guys. read more

I was told 3-4 weeks, and nearly to the day, my glass backsplash was installed in 4 weeks. I had to make a couple of calls, send an email to stay on top of things, which I find pretty typical in the home improvement game. But, all in all, great experience. It looks beautiful! Very helpful shower experts. I had a situation where a recent installation done by another partner had installed damaged glass and was unable to provide shower guard glass that didn't have scratches, bubbles, and water marks. I asked Creative to come to my house to give me an estimate on if and how they can fix it once the contractor removes. They gave me information on why it wasn't done properly and specifically what I needed to do to correct the problem to ensure no damage. However, he recommended I try to get my money back from the original installer and keep the enclosure for now until I'm ready to replace the tile and base, because the damage may cause leaks by removing. He was focused on the best outcome for me - and my situation. I will hire them when I'm ready to fix my bathroom. Very honest people who know what they are doing. read more
