The motor produced an irregular noise and the water supply was compromised, rendering the feature unusable. I experienced a comparable issue with the unit in 2019 and Mr. Berkshire, upon my request, fixed the problem. Therefore, I contacted him to address this matter. Mr. Berkshire advised me to disassemble the waterfall, which is composed of rocks and boulders of considerable size, and search for overflow or leaks. On May 23, 2020, I did as he instructed. Neither overflow nor leaks were detected and the water level was normal. I reconstructed the feature and it operated properly for one day before the abnormal sound returned. On May 26, 2020, I contacted Mr. Berkshire via text message, informing him that, despite my attempt to repair it, the product remained defective; moreover, I should appreciate it if he would assess the situation. He did not respond. I texted him again on May 28, 2020 and asked if he received the text message sent on May 26. He replied, "Yes, very busy. I'll get to it in a few days." Eleven days later, on June 8, 2020, I had still yet to be contacted by Mr. Berkshire. So, I sent a text message, expressing my disappointment with his obvious lack of interest in solving the issue. Mr. Berkshire responded immediately. He recommended I repeat the deconstruction process and, once again, check for overflow or leaks. The message closed with a referral to Grunder Landscaping Company. Mr. Berkshire is acutely aware of a significant issue with the water feature he built for me. He willfully neglected my attempts to establish contact in order to rectify the problem. Upon deigning to respond, he suggested I duplicate a troubleshooting tactic, which was not effective the first time it was applied. Ultimately, Mr. Berkshire categorically refused to fix a problem with a water feature he installed. He clearly believes that is my responsibility - or that of the Grunder Landscaping Company.

Communication with me was great throughout my project which included a large number of pavers and a large stamped-concrete driveway. Soon after the work was completed I had concerns as there were some areas of polysand failure, and I observed white areas on the driveway that had been tinted and sealed. But the company offered to come back in a few months to fill any areas needing polysand, and they offered to add more tinting to the driveway if necessary and to re-seal the driveway. This will satisfy all of my initial concerns. I'm very impressed with their willingness to make their customers overjoyed at the outcome. There were 2 teams performing this large project. The first team did the paver repairs. The before-after pictures I include show the uneven pavers are now perfectly flat (and clean). The work for the 2nd team was faster than what the manufacturers recommend on their websites. However the company has been in business for many years and they assured me that they have successfully done this work in even hotter temperatures in Florida, and they always apply sealer to pavers right after applying the polysand. They used Accel polysand for the pavers. I especially respect and am grateful for this 2nd team, Jake and AJ, who worked through 90+ degree heat and very high humidity. Although my property has many trees, it was still potentially dangerous and definitely uncomfortable.

After it was done, there were all kinds of problems. We appreciated the fact that two experienced guys came out quickly to assess and try to correct the sealing. What we did not appreciate is that they told us the other guys were new at this. Was an $8,000 project not enough for the A-team? The guys who came out to fix it, tried another coat of sealer. Also didn't work. They called a guy in Florida who "knew everything about sealers". They tried another product and it seemed to work. However, some of the sloppy work from the first sealing still shows. Every time I'm out there, I see the lines on the pavers from the first attempt. We thought we had done our research in good companies. It apparently wasn't enough.

Their quote was competitive, and while they're not the cheapest option out there, they use top-quality products. My roof actually ended up as an upgrade from what I had before. From the first call to the final cleanup, everything was easy. Timely estimate, great communication, and a crew that was both friendly and efficient. I have a large roof, and they showed up early, knocked the whole job out in a single day, and cleaned up so thoroughly that my landscaping might have actually looked a little better after they left. Whether you need roofing, gutters, or siding, I can't recommend E.M.A. Construction highly enough. As long as they're in business, I won't be calling anyone else.

I wanted to replace it with similar siding because it seemed to be very durable. Replacement was necessary because the original siding was improperly installed and the planks were falling off the house. I repeatedly had planks replaced and paint never matched original siding properly. So I chose to replace the entire siding. My research identified James Hardie as an excellent siding; and it seems quite durable, has a decent warranty, and looks nice. I chose EMA Construction to install because of their long term experience with James Hardie siding, and previous customer reviews. So I am confident I have a good product that was properly installed. Eddie provided the estimate and stayed in contact with me during the project. The installer team was excellent. They commenced work as expected and completed on schedule.. in spite of several rainy days. One area of the house required custom cutting of the planks lengthwise and at a slight angle. The team did an excellent job custom fitting the siding to this area. The total install, including flashing, caulking, and siding fit are all excellent. Total results and cleanup was also perfect. The install team (Nico, Blake and Eric) was professional and friendly and explained what they were doing throughout. I would hire them again should the occasion arise.

They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Great customer service! They recommended sod in the bare spots and seeding in the patchy spots. They also "rocked in" the flower beds for us. We will definitely be using them again, especially as we move on to beautifying our front yard for the coming spring, summer and fall. I can not say enough good things about these guys. Very honest, very trustworthy, and they truly care about the job they do and customer satisfaction more so than the $ they make. I highly recommend!!
