I had to reach out to his wife multiple times to see about scheduling a day for the work to get done, Chris then told me he was booked out for the next week and can't schedule a specific day, so last night around 9pm, Chris texted me and said he can come out in the morning between 7:30am-8:00am, he never showed due to his helper not showing up for work, he then got ahold of me again, at 9:00pm at night, to show up the next morning less than 12hrs away around 8:00am, I stated to him I would need a heads up for my job to let them know so I am not just calling off work, I guess he doesn't respect other peoples business's or their personal time.

About two months ago, my doorbell rang right below the NO SOLICITORS sign. It was DP&L. They informed me that they would be trimming the tree branches over the power lines. FOR FREE! So yesterday Lewis tree service was on Robin Road and did a fantastic job! When I walked my client out the door? Seven Puerto Ricans were napping in my yard. SIESTA! I am not a racist as I taught at Dunbar and love that area of Puerto Rico so much that I spent a year there. Beautiful place. And the food? Do not get me started, MUVHANGO! It was 94 degrees outside so I bring out seven red solo cups of Ice water. Auga con heilo. They looked like they were exhausted. Only one could sort of speak Anglaise, English. It was a great opportunity to speak Spanish again. I felt so bad for them that I brought out my leaf blower and blasted them with a welcomed breeze. I was going inside? Uno mass por favor! Again please? Bottom line? Great people. Great Company. I live in the forest by Golden Nugget and if I were to pay them? It would cost about two thousand dollars. A tree we purchased 10 months ago has not been doing well. It has been properly planted and cared for-even "babied" along-and still not doing well. We are not at all new to tree planting or basic knowledge, so to have this kind of issue is very very rare for us. We have inquired back with Browns 3 times now as to what we can do to help this tree make it, and have gotten zero help or answers this far. We are getting the feeling that they are just waiting for our 1 year from purchase guarantee to pass by so that they can skip their commitment. We do not necessarily want the tree to be replaced, we want their input to know to make this tree thrive better and we are not getting it. Our next tree/shrubs may be coming from someplace else. Update from initial paragraphs above... absolutely zero "customer service" for the tree, and our time ran out. We had to cut it down. $300+ in the burn pile. I very rarely give a business this kind of review, but I honestly feel that this was warranted. We played by all of their retune/customer purchase rules and guidelines, and they did nothing.

Unfortunately, communication was a consistent issue from the very beginning. Initially, we agreed on a day for service, that day would came and went without any update, and I had to reach out for an update. Even when they did arrive, there was no text, call, or knock at the door to let me know they were there--I only knew because I happened to notice them outside or my dog started barking. After the first visit, we agreed to a weekly Sunday schedule. However, there was never any communication about what time they would arrive, and there were weeks when I wasn't sure if they were coming at all. We also discussed additional services, such as seeding, and agreed on pricing, only for those services to either be forgotten or quoted at a higher price the following week. The final issue is what ultimately led the discontinuation of service. During a weekend with rain in the forecast, I wasn't expecting anyone to come because it had already rained that Saturday and more rain was expected through Sunday and Monday. I was home the entire time, but I had no idea anyone had been there. The crew didn't call, text, knock, or ring the doorbell. It wasn't until my wife came home later that day and noticed the freshly cut grass and new seed that I realized they had serviced the yard. Since then, they haven't returned for the agreed-upon weekly service. I reached out by text to ask what happened with intentions of paying the previous service but never received a response. The actual lawn work was satisfactory, and I appreciated the reasonable pricing. However, reliable communication is just as important as the quality of the work. A simple text before arriving, updates when schedules change, and responding to customer messages would have made a huge difference. I'm leaving this review in the hope that these communication issues improve because I believe they have the potential to provide a much better overall customer experience.

We contracted with Dean's to remove old landscaping, install new landscaping, install a sidewalk…read moreand then maintain it all. Sidewalk slumped and had a major crack within a couple of weeks - they reinstalled about a year later. Planted incorrect plants and not all of the plants in the contract - took a year and a half to correct that. Spring cleanup and fall cleanup was ok, except the trimming of a couple of bushes. Trimming was very uneven and almost killed an established bush. We requested (multiple times) that they call before they come to the house to do work since we were having other work done on the house and that there were periodic healthcare providers coming out. The remembered twice to do this, but then neglected to do so the 8 other times. The maintenance program was horrible - the mulch was nonexistent in patches; they killed 7 plants with their spraying; and they agreed to pull large weeds and then refused to. After two monthly treatments, they just walked away. I would NOT recommend - they are overwhelmed and the different groups within the organization don't appear to talk to one another.
