We found this restaurant on Yelf since we were traveling and didn't know the area. Just loved it! The food was delicous especially the salmon with carmelized onions and a portbello mushroom . The owner and her daughter were so, so nice and friendly and even gave us a sample of their mushroom soup that everyone raves about even though it wasn't on the menu that night--it was fabulous!! After working in Casa Grande for two years, I finally made my way in today for lunch. The Rueben was one of the best I've had...and I've tried them everywhere. The sauerkraut was tangy, the meat was gristle-free, and the bread was grilled to perfection. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, and even though I went during the lunchtime rush, the service was prompt and professional. My only regret is that I didn't come here sooner! read more

We were looking for a restaurant with some vegetarian chooses, and this popped up. I had the best veggie wrap ever, with lots of flavor, and the tomato basil soup was also flavored perfectly. My husband had the Greek salad which was also loaded with olives, artichoke hearts, feta, chick peas and nice greens. We also had the hummus and pita appetizer, again, delicious! We have been going to this restaurant for years and I can't believe I haven't done a review yet! It's a little local gem that is definitely worth checking out! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere fun and happy and the waitstaff great! Some of the staff are people they hire specifically because they have various cognitive difficulties (the same owners operate a day center for these same folks next door), but it certainly doesn't get in the way of them providing wonderful service. It actually adds to it in some ways! Some of my favorite things to eat here include the wraps, the gyros, sweet potato fries, the desserts... Tonight hubby had a Thai wrap with portobello mushrooms instead of chicken (he is vegetarian) with fresh fruit on the side (artfully arranged!) and I had the fish and chips with coleslaw (giving him my coleslaw as that's not my thing). We split a slice of coconut cream pie that the waitress said was homemade and, boy, was it good! Hmmm hmmm... Make sure you check to see if they're open before going over there, as they have slightly odd hours (only weekdays/nights, for example, and sometimes not in the summertime), but absolutely do not miss it! They had so many choices for lunch that it took us some time deciding. The salads were amazing and so fresh, I think they must have picked the lettuce that morning! Wow! Great food and great service. We went there for the forst time today. The food was made to order. There were lots of varities of meat from beef, lamb, turkey, chicken and even the new beyond burger. Today we tried the turkey melt, siracha chicken (a moist buttermilk chicken), and the beyond burger with guacamole. The sandwiches were delicious! Passing through and saw this on yelp that has vegan options.. Excellent menu options, food & service. The veggie patty is not vegan but they make a portobello mushroom burger for non meat/dairy eaters. I had the veggie wrap with a spinach wrap (ask for no cream cheese) and sweet potato fries... Was in town for work and saw the Yelp reviews for this place and decided to stop by for a late lunch. Had very few customers and got seated right away. Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and onion rings. Sandwich was very good and a pretty generous portion as well. Onion rings were very very good and you could tell they were homemade. Person helping me didn't have a lot of personality and seemed like he didn't want to be there but oh well. Food came out quickly and it's pretty inexpensive. I was meeting with a customer half way from Tucson, and found this place on Yelp. The reviews were good so I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed. The menu has something for everyone and the service was way excellent. We were seated immediately, and the server was very attentive. The rest of the support staff came by often to make sure our drinks were always full, which is important in the desert! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was quiet, so I was able to have a conversation without yelling over the noise, that can ruin a good lunch meeting. I've only had the pleasure of eating here once but I guarantee, I will be a repeat customer. The menu is extensive and the dishes we had were excellent. I had the Thai chicken wrap with peanut sauce. I have eaten here pretty regularly and just had them cater a lunch for my co-workers. I'm a gluten free vegan and the regular menu doesn't have gluten free wraps or sammys but I was able to get a special gluten free sandwich with the catered lunch (go figure!). They always accommodated my special requests and the food is delicious. Sometimes the service was a little laid back to fit into a lunch hour but that was definitely not the norm. I love this place. I go to Casa Grande often for work, and always end up in this area where there are a lot of restaurant chains or Mexican restaurants. Nothing against Mexican...but I try to keep my lunches light and fresh. This place prepares sanwiches, soups, salads, wraps, all from scratch. With ingredients that you wouldn't expect in a lot of menus in Casa Grande. Their cream of mushroom soup is so decadent you won't want your spoon to leave your mouth. Their desserts are calorie-laden, old style, not non-fat stuff but the good old stuff. Hey, if I'm going to splurge and have dessert, I want it to have all the calories and all the fat. The staff is very friendly, and they employ developmentally disable people. I have a co-worker that gets very uncomfortable because of this, and I think it's ridiculous. If anything, it makes me go there more often, because they are great employees, never rude or snooty like at other places. Just a warning, it does get pretty full around lunch time (11:30-1) but if you go before or after, it's perfect. The main problem is the parking lot, which does not fit a lot of cars. Very dissapointed after reading all the good reviews. Went there for dinner with my wife last night. My wife had a salmon special & a salad. Her meal was average. I had stuffed sole with rice and a cup of soup. The soup was good but not HOT. The sole was ok, but was a prepared product and comes fully cooked. All they did was warm it up. The rice was cold and over cooked. All clumped up in balls. Terrible. They offered to replace it, but I was more than half finished. The meal was far from creative. The waitress never asked if we wanted another beer & the beer was overpriced for a Cafe. The dining room was also way to cold, I had to get our jackets from the car. I heard others complain & they finally adjusted the A/C. Over all not a pleasant experience. read more
