While visiting family in Casa Grande, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The restaurant looks small when you first enter, but just to the right, you have the green room, and around the corner to the left, you have the Bahama room. To the back of the Bahama room, they also have a bar. You can see the kitchen from the main room. This place is huge! The owner is super sweet. She also owns Creative Labor Services located next door. They work closely with the mentally challenged & also help employ them. That's awesome! The first time I went, I ordered the cheese quesadilla and the tuna melt with onion rings. The food was absolutely delicious and their service was great. Everyone was so friendly. The second time I visited, I ordered the Crunchy Chicken Wrap. I'm vegetarian so I replaced the chicken with portobello mushrooms. Wow! Absolutely delicious! My niece ordered the Bleu Chicken Salad and loved it as well. They have very tasty onion rings, so be sure to get some for your side. I absolutely enjoy that they are creative with their food by adding untraditional yet tasteful ingredients. Yes, I highly recommend Creative Cafe! The food is amazing! read more

Our motorcycle group planned a lunch ride to the Creative Cafe based on one member's recommendation. WOW, just WOW! From the minute we walked in we were treated as though we were the only customers in the restaurant, which we weren't-the restaurant was packed. Super friendly staff, awesome menu options, and great food. Loved the fact that physically & mentally challenged people work there. Two young men frequented our table asking about our motorcycles and apparel. They were polite, respectful, funny and made sure our drinks were always full! Love the decor, the staff and the food. My husband and I have been there twice in the past month. The first time I had the Asian chicken salad and husband had the Philly cheese. I also had the most delicious potato leek soup. Our second visit: I had chicken salad on a croissant and my husband had fish and chips. Quite good. A must is a piece of coconut cream pie. Ordered burgers for the family everything was OK @ best because though the burgers were charred the way we like it, it lacked flavor, giving it a burnt bland taste also with a high price they charged I would assume it would be made up with a larger drink or with larger fries but it does not, too pricey for a small meal. read more

Husband ordered chicken buffalo wrap and the French fries he enjoyed his wrap but wasn't awed by it. But he loved the business itself. We were driving from Phoenix to Tucson and looking for a lunch place in between. We found this wonderful cafe in Casa Grande. It was a little ways off the highway, but worth it. It is a very unique cafe that supports the community. The staff is super friendly and kind. The tortilla soup was excellent, not too hot or spicy. I had the classic BLT. The portions are large. This is one of the better places to dine in Casa Grande. The temperature of the restaurant and the speed of the service knock a star right off. It is freezing in the restaurant, and this coming from a guy that runs hot. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, so I'm not sure what was taking so long. Anyway, I ordered the Philly Cheese steak, with sweet potato fries. The Sandwich was a very good representation of a restaurant style cheese steak (not to be confused with traditional). The roll was soft and buttery, meat was very tasty and the veggies and cheese were not rationed. The sweet potato fries could have been cooked a little longer, as they were all floppy :( So if this is common practice be sure to ask for them well done. Will return! Loved it! As good as the food is, the staff is better. We didn't realize there was anything special about this place when we found it on the map, but as soon as we walked it we could see it was a jewel. The family who owns this cafe' are doing good work in the words, and the staff is clearly happy to be there. The menu is large and diverse--there were a handful of things that I wished I could have tried, but I ordered the tuna salad sandwich with (amazing!) fries, and my husband had the ham 'n' cheese sandwich Special, with the most incredible tomato bisque soup. They have an extensive hot tea selection and had a blackberry jasmine iced tea too. We loved the murals painted on the back walls of the restaurant--all passionflower vines and tropical prettiness--as well as the r is the artwork, and enjoyed everything about the Cafe. Great staff, menu, ambiance and food. And a dessert case filled with yummies--we ordered coconut pie to go. Stop in if you're in the area, for sure! read more

Vegetarian/Vegan options are finally becoming more available in CG. Which means a veggie burger and salad at every restaurant from Chili's to Burger King. I can't even begin to express how sick I am of dining out to eat something I could make better at home. Then there's Creative Cafe. Finally, a place in this town that doesn't disappoint. Their Thai wrap with mushrooms inchicken is heaven. I was so excited to see that they had another vegan option, I couldn't tell you if there are others or even if they have a veggie burger (they probably do). I love this cafe! I am new to Casa Grande and one day looked up a place that had salad's on yelp and they came up as a healthy option I could choose from. So I decided I was going to try it out, I looked through their menu and wanted to try the Nora's raspberry salad. I found this adorable cafe on Yelp and decided to give it a try! My friend & I shared the Nora's raspberry salad & Brandi's spicy wrap w/ sweet potato wedges! Everything was delicious...especially the salad, which we both really loved! Also the sweet potato wedges were delicious and came with a delicious dipping sauce! I met the owner, Jim, who was very nice and helpful and told me this is a non profit that employs special needs adults! The inside is decorated very nice and colorful...I LOVED IT! After a full day of driving, spending some time in Douglas, Tombstone, and Tucson, we arrived in Casa Grande ready to eat. After checking Yelp, we decided to eat at the Creative Cafe. Our decision was a good one. My wife had the orange/whiskey chicken with rice and asparagus and I had the Italian sausage marinara. Our meals were excellent. Everyone associated with the working staff were friendly. That included the host, the drink person, our waitress, and another waiter who inquired about our dining experience.
