The roof came first and they did find some bad wood once the old tile was off, which of course nobody wants to hear. But they showed us everything and it made sense. No weird surprise bill with no explanation. The windows came out really nice too. House is quieter now and the front looks much cleaner than before. Paint was the last part and we went back and forth on the color more than we probably should have. They were patient with us. There were a few messy days, thats just part of it, but overall they did a really good job and the house looks like a different place now. Glad we did everything at once.

I was expecting an ADU project to be almost a second job for us, especially with the city, inspections, ordering materials and trying to keep everything moving. It really wasn't like that. We dealt with Igor and Luis and they took care of the rest. I don't think we spoke to the city or an inspector once during the entire project. They're also just extremely organized. There was always a plan for what was happening next, materials seemed to show up when they were supposed to, and one crew would finish and the next guys would be there without these long dead periods in between. More than once we stopped by and were surprised by how much had happened since the last time we were there. Igor and Luis were great throughout the whole thing. Very easy to get ahold of, straightforward when we had questions, and just easy people to work with. You can tell they have done this before and have their system figured out. The ADU came out great. We decided to go with them based on reviews of their previous work, the thorough and realistic explanation of how the work would be done, and also because their estimate for the work was actually lower than the others. We were dealing directly with the company owner, Alex, in getting the estimate and finalizing the contract details. Alex provided a complimentary design concept rendering at the start and made good suggestions for the choice of materials and fixtures. It was a complete bathroom remodel (floor, walls, all fixtures, additional lighting, etc.). The work crew were polite and efficient. As with any home renovation there will be dust, however the guys were diligent in minimizing this as much as possible. Everything was done in just over two weeks, including the necessary city inspections (Alex took care of arranging those). The bathroom came out looking beautiful, the tile work on the floor and in the tub area is gorgeous. Thankfully, no major issues cropped up when the floor and walls were opened up, and the guys devised a great solution to make the vanity fit perfectly in the slightly larger area (the original vanity was custom built during our condo's construction in 1988). Alex oversaw the progress of work with frequent job site visits and a final inspection. So, a positive experience and we now have a beautiful master bathroom.
