I had my wallet and Identity stolen from the community I live in and in my wallet was my drivers licenses, social security card because I had just used it for a government ID and forgot to take it out of my wallet and my Clark County Credit and Debit card. The thief happen to get access to my bank account and stole money out of my account, that when I was introduced to an awesome Fraud Prevention Agent named Nicole H. who took what was going on in my account and at branched through out Clark County very serious. She turned into a detective researching and helping me recover my drivers license from the thief who was using it at branches to get money out of my account, so you could say he was robbing the bank without using a gun. So Nicole notified the branches about this guy and as he came to the branches Nicole work access the cameras and give information to the Henderson Police Department, so I say she became one of them except she took professional and person attention and interest into this case. This awesome lady got my drivers license from the thief at a drive up window and has helped me in every professional way she could to make my situation manageable. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for all her effort, she went above and beyond to assist me and she is my HERO! Since then Clark County has change they way they do business for the better and I am very happy to be a customer. Thank you again for all your efforts we need many more like her. read more

The customer service and all the things that they have for you here are just amazing. They have a great team of people to assist you. One person in particular is Wendy Santos. She is a wonderful person. She is professional and Respectful. She definitely rises to the occasion 100%, she treats you, just like she is taking care of her self. We were in a dilema where our landlord decided to put the house we had been renting for 6 years for sale. So we decided to get In touch with Clark county credit union and start a loan process. Since we banked with them already. We got assigned to Ryan our loan officer. We told him our situation. He said no problem in qualifying us. We started looking at home with our real estate guy. It was difficult to find a home. We got discourage. Tried the option of renting again. That didn't go so well either. We called Ryan back. He said let me help you. He sent us his real state agent (Jennifer Boushy ) she is awesome as well . And after looking at so many homes. Finally we started the process on a home. I've been banking here for over 30 years, and walking into the branch brought back a wonderful sense of nostalgia. Even though we had never met before, Roberto made me feel like an old friend. He reviewed my accounts with me, made sure everything was set up exactly the way I wanted, and went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. I had received what I thought was a suspicious text claiming to be from the bank, and Roberto patiently verified everything for me, reassuring me that my accounts were safe. I have know. Ryan Lopez for years and he has helped me with multiple mortgages. From his previous bank to CCCU. His knowledge of the mortgage process is impeccable and is always ready to go the extra mile. I give him the 5 star rating. I appreciate the hard work of the rest of the team, but unfortunately I was not happy with the communication and the timeliness of certain aspects of the process. Processing asked for the same information more than once and for some reason, had difficulty interpreting bank statements and other financial documents. It was subpar to the point that I had to request for an extension twice costing me a little over $2K. Also, the timeliness for asking more documents needs improvement and turning the loan over to underwriters earlier in the process would have alleviated much stress and aggravation. Charmian Hoopai, the new account representative made it so difficult to open up a simple checking account and took her forever to finish the task, we were in the computer room for 2 hours as she put us on long hold and was very unprofessional, un-friendly and disrespectful. someone needs to look-in to this, she defiantly does not like what she does and i am sure they're other people who complained about her in the past. This credit union is a great place to do business as they offer reasonable rates, but they need to work on their training and select the right people for the job, people who wants to work and stay professional unlike Charmian who does not care about the bank repetition. read more

They were awesome. I originally tried to do the deal with Wells Fargo because that's who I do my banking with. I have an 800 credit rating and all of my assets are with Wells Fargo. It's a significant amount of money and I have zero debt other than a small car payment. After being an escrow, Wells Fargo told me because my LLC is new that they can't loan me the money. Staff treats me like family and are member-oriented. They are passionate about their credit union and work so well together as a team. It was hard to find them at first but so worth going in there to see them and do all my financial business.
