Jessica at the call center helped me today. She was understanding, personable, very clear with communication and mitigated my concerns in a timely manner. I traveled to different area for over two years and continued to stay with CCCU. Reason being that agents are consistently available to help with my accounts. I hope the Create Credit Union branches expand as well. Thank you for your services. read more

We recently went to Create Credit Union to open a new account and had an excellent experience. Upon arrival we found people in line but in no time we were speaking to Kim. We explained our "mission" and she explained that opening a new account involved going into a private office and meeting virtually with another member of their Staff. Kim asked if we had any issues with this and we replied No. While we are a little older, we understand this is more efficient and frees up the onsite Staff to work with customers with more complex requests. Kim took us into a private office and had us setup in no time. She was very pleasant and helpful. After just a moment, Alyssa came online and starts explaining the process for new customers. We were very happy with the interaction and Alyssa was very easy to work with. In no time, she had us setup with our new account. She explained that we would have to fund the account by going back to the onsite Staff. We returned to the Tellers and worked with Alex to complete the setup. Alex was very helpful and welcomed us as new members. As we were funding the account, Matthew (Assistant Branch Manager) came over to make sure everything was going smoothly. We had spoken to him on the way in and he was very pleasant. We enjoyed talking to Matthew & Alex and learning about the other services CCU offered. In no time we were new members and very happy with the Staff at CCU. We know the virtual meetings can be uncomfortable for some people but it is the most efficient and productive way to maximize your Staff. And that also helps keep CCU's services cost down and remain competitive against bigger banking institutions. Many THANKS to Kim, Alyssa, Alex and Matthew for a pleasant visit and exceeding our expectations. read more

I would like to leave this review to express my dissatisfaction with the rebranding from Clark County credit union. The guest interaction is inconsistent at best, 50% of the time I encounter a team member that leaves me feeling unappreciated as a client and undervalued to someone who does business with them. Also attempting to dispute a charge for a restaurant item that I never received or consumed or departed the store with and they said it was some kind of a preference thing and they refused to reverse the charge. It's not so much that I didn't get the result that I was anticipating. It's the way that the business is conducted and the disc courteous, unprofessional verbiage. They seem to have a training system that needs to be revised, or team members are being allowed to figure it out as they go along, unfortunately for the general public. There are a number of other things that give the nice people at this institution a bad name, but I will just say that it's better to manage with the phone dysfunction then go inside to the building. We went to look at the 8.3 apy interest deal. Beware of the strings attached. Maintain 10k balance in checking, use their credit card 15 times per calendar month. And have a direct deposit once a month. And open savings for $5.00. Enrolling is weird. Start out with teller, then into cubical to talk to someone on a computer, then back to teller to deposit money. So have your financials and personal info ready in hand. Another strange deal is they have to set up a link to pay credit card from your checking. Then they also have to set up recurring internal auto payments. They did screw up the recurring payment deal and dropped our balance below 10k. They admitted screw up and said they would fix within 48 hours. If you go with them just monitor closely for the first few months. And they did not ask any questions about why we qualify as members, law enforcement etc. Pretty sure anyone can join. read more

I opened this account about a year ago to have a local financial institution specifically for home repairs and mortgage-related payments. This account is only used for that purpose. Overall, I hadn't had many issues--until yesterday. On the same day, a few credits and debits posted to my account. CCCU processed the debits first, which caused NSF fees, even though the credits posted the same day and immediately covered the amounts. Given that my account has always been in good standing, with no prior NSF history, this felt like an error. My understanding has always been that same-day credits are applied before debits. I called to see if the fees could be reversed. I spoke with Miguel, who stated that since it wasn't a credit union error, they could not reverse the fees. No alternatives were offered--no overdraft protection discussion, no courtesy reversal--nothing. The interaction made me feel like I was asking for free money rather than requesting a reasonable review of the situation. Honestly, this experience reminded me of the practices Bank of America was criticized for years ago, when debits were reordered ahead of credits to generate NSF fees. I ultimately decided to close my account. Miguel said he would send the documents to sign online, but I never received them. Three hours later, I had to call back, only to find out they were never sent. Jerry ended up resending them and re-verifying my information. To his credit, Jerry was more empathetic and did offer options--but by then I had already changed my direct deposit with my employer. My advice: consider taking your business elsewhere. read more

First time member with CCCU and I will say that the rates for car loans are far better than what you would get with a traditional bank or even some dealerships. In order to get a car loan you do need to open a checking account which I was not a big fan of, however using the app to make payments is fairly simple and easy read more

I am pleased to say that although the name has changed, the high-quality service and family-like approach remain the same. Cerina and the entire staff make you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in. Their kindness, professionalism, and commitment to customer service truly set them apart. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional bank without the feel of corporate banking. read more

Anthony is AMAZING! He was very welcoming and helpful during my visit and answered all the questions I had. 5 stars for him!

Just closed on my dream home yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Jen was amazing and was always available to talk through any questions I had. Mimi was able to get me in to sign first thing on my new home and I was able to get in the very same day. Ryan was fantastic as well. He offered me the best interest rate and was able to get me to a mortgage payment I felt comfortable with. This transaction was manageable and with everyone's help I was able to close on my dream home in a quick and efficient manner. I will continue to work with this dream team. Other people at the credit union did reach out and helped me get everything moving along and I felt like I could always call. I called Christine 20 times at least and she always answered and was available to me. Overall, I would do it again and recommend you choose this great team. read more

With over 10 years of experience in the banking industry along with leadership, I cannot say enough amazing things about the Henderson branch team. I was a bit reluctant to join the CU since I have plenty of accounts. I came over due to Pat Ochal, who I've had the honor & pleasure of working with prior to her role at CCCU. CCCU lucked out with bringing in Pat, she's a gem! My experience has been such a blessing and is nothing short of exceptional. Upon entering the branch, without fail Cerina & Amy will always acknowledge me by name with excitement every time. I genuinely feel that I'm apart of the CCCU family. Cerina & Amy have gone above and beyond, to make sure that my needs are met every time. These two demonstrate all of the best qualities for leadership, true Allstars. Desiree, has also found time to make it a point to come over and acknowledge me when I'm in the branch as well, despite her busy role in leadership. When she smiles she lights up the room and I look forward to seeing her smile. My business banker Karen is the best of the best and she doesn't miss a beat, her attention to detail is a true gift. I don't know what I would do without her. Sarah & Healani are the newest addition to the team and they fit in very well. They both are very pleasant despite the learning curve and very sweet & kind. I have several financial institutions and I must say without fail the CCCU is my favorite place by far. I look forward to coming to the bank and if I'm with someone, I bring them in to introduce them to the team. It's too bad that I'm limited to only 5 stars, these ladies deserve 10 stars! I can go on and on but the one word that sums up the team is AMAZING! Cheers to the dream team at Henderson! read more

Ryan Lopez and his team at CCCU are amazing. They helped us with our Home Equity Loan when other financial institutions won't even bother to look into our files. Ryan simplified a seemingly complex process. The entire process was smooth and seamless. Ryan is very respectful, understanding, honest, and very pleasant to work with. We strongly recommend Ryan and his team at CCCU. Thanks Ryan. read more

I was buying a car at Henderson Chevy and selling my other car at Carmax. I don't live in the area but this branch was closest to where I was shopping. I had to get a payoff letter, a check for payoff, and a check to buy the new car. I walked in to this branch and was so warmly greeted by Amy K! "Hi welcome in! How are you? What can I help you with?" Super friendly. So I told her the situation and she said they hadn't gotten the email for the check quite yet. I walked over to Walgreens and by the time I got back, they had both checks and my payoff letter ready to go! Seamless and so helpful. Amy was so awesome! Thank you so much for being a warming welcome on a stressful day! read more

I did my first ever home loan here. I was a complicated case for a few reasons. We have a high income which meant jumbo loan, I am self employed, and I bought during a strange time. Ryan Lopez was excellent. He guided us well and got back to us within the hour throughout the entire process. The processing itself does need to be tidied. We went from 5 to 10 to 15 to 20 percent down within 48 hours of closing. We often felt vilified because we are small business owners. The app needs some work, it's a little weak. We had to go into Clark county to actually get it sorted. Everyone was very friendly so I feel guilty complaining about the app or process. We ended up in our dream house so I can't fret too much. read more

The following is my very first transaction on my new checking account: I came in to cash a savings bond and open a CD. After partially completing the back of the bond, the assistant manager, then tells me she cannot redeem the bond because I haven't been a member long enough, hands me back the bond, and I go on my way to cash it at my other bank, only to be told They cannot redeem it because CCCU filled out the back of it. I return to CCCU only to be told they will not redeem it, but will assist me in filling out paperwork to have the bond replaced and I can then send it to the Treasury Department currently in upheaval, and wait. very bad business. Spoke with supervisor of branch, who said they would cash the bond but now need a certified copy of the death certificate where yesterday the one I gave them was just fine. Since that will take just as long as sending it back to the treasury, they have now invented a reason not to make this right. I do not recommend this credit union. read more

Me and my son walked in so he can open his first account and he was given an application. He completed the entire app and was told he'd be called back to schedule an appt their banker was busy and booked for the day. We never received a call back. He opened an account with Chase the next week. Great service! My wife completed a Refi app online as instructed when we called. We never heard back. She Refinanced with One NV Credit Union. Great service! I called Clark County to let them know why they lost two clients and member services said they would have the Branch manager from their Lake Mead location reach out to me and how that was unacceptable. They never did. read more

I recently acquired a mortgage through CCCU. Ryan Lopez and Christine Taylor helped me through the process that was extra stressful because of my short timeline. They were available and communicative with myself and both agents. It was a mad rush to get it done during the Thanksgiving holiday and they both were confident and competent throughout the process. They got me an excellent interest rate as well. In the end we closed a day early and I'm in my new home. This location is terrible, and as I've only been with them for 4 months it's left a miserable impression on the entire company. First, the security of the building is atrocious. For months upon opening their door to the ATM after hours it would not lock behind you. Even after they fixed the lock, the door still doesn't shut properly, and was jammed for an entire weekend leaving the ATM inoperable. There is a homeless problem in the area and I've had to call the police because of vagrants waiting outside the door. Once you get to the ATM, it's amazing of it works. In recent weekends the machine was jammed with another person's card, then last night I made a cash deposit which was not posted to my account immediately like cash deposits are supposed to be. I called and they have no record of it and say it will be 5 days to investigate. So they basically stole my money. The people aren't much better. While the tellers for the most part are professional, their other staff leaves much to be desired. I applied for an auto loan, and was given specific guidelines. Basically I could get a loan for 85% of the value of the car up to a certain dollar amount. I researched a vehicle that online through edmunds.com and the DMV had a higher value than what the dealer was selling for. Even the OTD price was less than the 85%. I took the purchase order back to them, but their appraisal was for less than the original price, effectively doubling my down payment. I went back to the dealer, who found me a competitor willing to honor the terms. Basically CCCU is a bunch of thieves. As soon as my ATM issue is resolved I'm moving my account to someone with some credibility. read more

Over the phone, I applied for a 'share secured loan' last Friday. The loan processor told me someone would call be back later that day or Monday to finalize the loan. My next communication with this awful credit union will be to close my account. Stay away from them read more

I just joined and went in once, but they were very professional. Very helpful people. I'm hoping to get a car loan there in a few months.

My wife and I are both County employees. We went to CCCU on a recommendation of a coworker who works for the County also . When he became a member of CCCU the membership process was seamless and quick . He praised CCCU for there exemplary customer service . Well after what my wife and I had been through trying to join it was a nightmare . What should have taken minutes in any other banking institution has taken weeks and we just gave up . I had taken time off from work to go to there E. Lake Meade branch and after 1 hour we were still waiting for the CS rep to conduct an interview via internet at the branch . The CCCU rep at the bank said sorry but we had to come back another day ! It was a waste of our time . We did the online thing and 2 weeks later still no answer . We just gave up . They said the issue they had was our address . Our mailing address and physical address were slightly different and it was a concern to them because it was reflected in our drivers license . We both work for the county and everything can be completely verified in a nano second . We were treated like we were some kind of bank scammers ... it's just ridiculous . read more
