Great ice cream and cool experience, but insanely overpriced and that's the only reason I don't recommend it.

This ice cream is so perfectly creamy- it truly lives up to it's name! Though it's a little bit pricey for ice cream, it's nice for a random splurge whenever you're having a sweet tooth. My mom and I came here for the grand opening, and it was packed! It took us slightly over an hour to get the ice cream, but it was well worth the wait. Outside of Creamistry, there was a DJ playing great pop songs, but he didn't seem too enthusiastic about his job. Anyways, the inside of the place is super awesome, and they even have a plaque describing the history of their nitrogen ice cream making. I guess you could say this is a "cool" place. I am so glad they opened a Creamistry in Las Colinas because I first tried this place out in Los Angeles and fell in love. The complementary ice cream that we got was both the fruity pebbles, and the nitrodole. The fruity pebbles ice cream is really sweet, but masterfully blends the cereal into the ice cream. Personally, I felt that the nitrodole tasted better because it had fresh strawberries, and the mango flavoring was very tropical. Even though this place was a bit of a drive for me, I will definitely be coming back here for the fabulous nitrogen creations! read more

This ice cream store just opened up near me and I thought I'd come check it out. It's a little more complicated ordering that your typical ice cream shop but the staff was very helpful in explaining every thing. They actually make it right in front of you which is pretty cool. 0 stars. No masks required all over the place in Texas including places next store. Walk into this place and the young gentlemen insists I wear a mask. I asked him why it was required since there is no law requiring it. He mumbled something under his mask that you can hardly understand and then he touched his mask several times to try to talk while he had it on. Ice cream super smooth, like super light ice cream that it doesn't feel like ice cream. Offers good amount of exotic ice cream flavors such as Thai tea and taro. However, pretty expensive for ice cream. For a medium with two toppings and chocolate drizzle, I paid $10 while my friend paid around $7 for her small with two toppings. We came in when it was pretty busy. There was a line wait and customers were already sitting down so it was pretty packed. On top of the wait time to order our ice cream there was another significant amount of wait time to get our ice cream. The customer service was subpar but it's understandable when you have teenagers working the establishment. I would recommend setting aside a good hour and half to get some ice cream here. read more

I really like this place but we happened to come in 15 minutes before yes mind you that is late and we saw a ton of people walk out so figured let me order something small and I'll leave a good tip for being so last minute and we'll go, and when we came in did not get greeted.i asked if they were open if not we could leave and this black guy who was speaking without a mask(masks are mandatory when around others and in businesses) was like "I mean I guess now we are" in a super rude demanding loud tone I get he was annoyed but if he didn't want to serve us all he had to say was that when I proceeded to ask what I wanted very rudely goes it's been discontinued for months now like I was supposed to know that like we haven't been in a pandemic I was so embarrassed some icecream employee literally had to talk to me like this? If I could have gotten the icecream and thrown it at him I would have that's how rude he was to me and all the the employees just kinda laughed with him like being rude is okay? Like I said if he needed to turn me away from ordering that's all he has to say he didn't need to be a dick to me I literally just walked away and left this happened over the weekend a few days ago and been sitting on losing a review but everyone needs to know if you come in late or if this guys annoyed watch out or you might just get yelled at by an employee this is a great place but clearly that dude is a problem he had like a buzz cut haircut and I believe glasses if I remember correctly if it wasn't a big deal why would I remember this too detailed? Don't waste your time. Everything I tried to order they didn't have and when I finally ordered and paid they told me it was going to be a 25-30 min wait. After waiting for 15 minutes I check on my order and they tell me their system is down and can't make my order. This is by far the worst ice cream center ever! Especially the people that work their including the "owner" who is a 20 something year old who takes orders from a 17yr old who apparently works for him as well. It just seems so petty that this business works that way and how unprofessional and rude they can be. The only person I actually found super nice was Andrea and another new girl I saw there too I can't remember her name..she took my order with a smile and even had a small conversation with me..she also made my ice cream! It was soooo delicious and creamy. I went with the fruity pebble special and added strawberries. First hand, i thought the cereal wouldn't be crunchy since it was mixed it but i was wrong. The fruity pebbles added a great crunch to the ice cream while adding more flavors to it entirely. Only rating 4 stars instead of 5 due to the price. The small is about $6 and an extra topping is $1 more and the size was quite small. I will probably still return because it was delicious but i def believe they can knock it down a dollar or two. read more
