My friend and I tasted a little bit of everything but we really enjoyed the cinnamon roll churros, the grilled cheese brisket sandwich and the chilaquiles breakfast plate. I do wish that there was a little more meat on the chilaquiles plate but the tortilla chips were perfectly fried and crispy even underneath all that salsa verde. As far as portion sizes go, the plates were huge and the churros were warm and crispy with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar. With that in mind, I would return solely for the classic combination of just the churros and white chocolate (although there are dozens of other add-ons to be had--like pistachio crème or cream cheese). If you are a sweet tooth, you are certainly in for a treat at the Churro Boutique. Side Note: this review is in reference to the Youngsville location and not the one located in the Lafayette mall

I walked in to a friendly staff who were eager to recommend some other treats to pick up as well. Besides the boudin balls, my partner and I purchased a spicy bowl, a Oreo cheesecake cup, and a Oreo brownie. The boudins came in two options: one filled with pepper jack cheese and one without. Let me stress to you that these boudin balls are huge!!!! I really enjoyed trying them with the side of cheese sauce. The spicy bowl was extremely hot with so much pickled flavoring. The boiled eggs inside were the best part. The side of chips for it was a great pairing to tone down the spices. The Oreo cheesecake was pretty tasty. I would love to try more desserts in the future. The only issue I had here was that the Oreo brownie that we purchased wasn't in our bag when we left . We called them and they were quite gracious to let us pick it up the next day!

We sat near the bar and received our drinks and water quickly, and were off to a great start. The ambience is a family outing feel, as the Brunch menu is the main menu of the restaurant, and the menu reflects that. The appetizer we tried was the Ahi Tuna, and the tuna was great, however the warm slaw underneath was not needed, and I would have liked more seasoned and less sauce as that took away from the natural flavor of the cabbage. The Lobster Roll was different had lettuce tomatoes onions and a sauce, and was placed on top of the roll, but you could not pick it up to eat, that took away from the experience, the flavor was okay. The feel is that with more experience it will get better. Fries were good also.

The lunch special is 3 and a beverage but the sweet gal working there cut me a break Now the empanada. First, they"re not fried but baked! What would be thought of as possibly being heavy and doughie was extremely light! The texture inside was excellent - you could see multiple layers of crust and the flavors were all authentic. Each empanada was better then the next BUT the best hands down was the Phlly Cheesesteak. To me the empanada size were a cross between a jumbo appetizer and a full size empanada- point being i probably could a ate 10!
