From what I can surmise this restaurant franchise is named after the owner's Dog, and Flavour Flav is involved in some way for marketing and promotion. It's an odd combination that makes for great fries and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers are lightly breaded, moist and delicious. The fries are crispy, salty and work well. I was originally put off by the accompanied Texas Toast but it actually works. The coleslaw wasn't impressive, it tasted like store bought slaw. I'd come back!

Low rating is because employees aren't trained to automatically provide the lowest price to the customer, or even let the customer know that chips can be included for $1.50 less. And, when asked later about the price difference of the special bundle & not sharing that with us, we were not offered a complimentary (which we clearly paid for) bag of chips. Jersey Mike's product seems no better than Subway or other area fast food restaurants, in particular when comparing coupon prices or specials. Unfortunately, the menu changes have turned this into a completely different experience. Let's start with the catfish. Somewhere between the old menu and the new one, the catfish fillets entered witness protection. What arrived on my plate looked less like catfish and more like a collection of heavily breaded suggestions of catfish. I've seen french fries wider than these strips. If there was actual fish inside, it was hiding better than Bigfoot. The spicy shrimp wrap also appears to have retired from the spice business. It now contains enough pepper jelly to qualify as a dessert, and so much of it that the wrap becomes a soggy engineering failure halfway through eating it. Then there are the onion rings. Calling them onion rings feels generous. They looked like someone lost a ring toss tournament and served the equipment. The frustrating part is that I genuinely loved this place. I live nearby and used to come here regularly. I even tried reaching out through the website before posting this review and never received a response. I hate leaving negative reviews, but somebody needs to stage an intervention for that catfish. This is Acadiana. We have standards.
