What was most frustrating was the lack of concern or accountability shown when I contacted the store. Instead of offering a reasonable solution for their mistake, I was simply told that I would need to drive back to the store to pick up the items that should have been included in the first place. When customers use online ordering and curbside pickup, they expect the store to verify that all paid items are included before the order is released. The failure to do so created an unnecessary inconvenience and wasted my time. Mistakes can happen, but customer service is measured by how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, there was very little compassion or effort shown to make the situation right. I hope management takes steps to improve order verification and customer service so future customers do not have the same experience.

Hearing employees raise their voices and argue openly gives a negative impression and makes the environment uncomfortable for shoppers. Because of this experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I recently shopped at Rouses and found the staff there to be noticeably more professional, courteous, and friendly. The cashiers were polite, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant -- exactly what customers hope to find in their local grocery store. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience I had at Nunu's in Youngsville, and based on this incident, I am unlikely to return.
