a meal in a styrofoam container

Was on this end of town during lunch, and saw lots of cars driving into the parking lot, I knew I had to stop. Went in, and saw that they had plate lunches. Ordered me the beef stew and a link of boudin. The beef stew was very good, but the boudin... SO SO GOOD! Definitely will be back to try their other plate lunch offers, and of course.. more boudin!

Best boudin, boudin balls, and cracklin that I've ever had (and I've had quite a lot).

Best cracklin in the world. I don't like cracklin, but I'll order this at $20 a pound and feel like I got a bargain.

Best boudin in the world, period. Someone brought it all the way to Texas, and I've never had anything better.

Possibly the best crawfish boudin and cracklins in the Acadiana area. Their daily plate lunches are great as well.

My wife has been eating their boudin since the 1980s, and the recipe is just as good today as it was back then.

The worst employees that I have had to deal with are the ones at customer service! That is a little odd, customer service should be the most helpful, Not at this location! ( Albertsons pkw Brousard) I can no longer deal with them and call the corporate customer service if have an issue with anything. They are much nicer and don't treat me like criminal for their own mistakes. Some of the employees are very nice and helpful but the bad ones ruin it. I don't understand why it is let continue , it is not just 1 either (but each time in customer service). It's a beautiful store and I did enjoy shopping there before I was treated so rudely on several occasions.

I was hungry and I hadn't eaten all day and they'd just cooked up a fresh batch that smelled great. Smelling great was about the only thing good about these. They were tough and salty. I definitely won't get any fried shrimp from Albertsons deli again. At least not from this particular location. Overall the stores was clean and the customer service was pretty good. I'll probably shop at this location again in the future.

When I came into the store earlier, I could clearly hear employees in the back arguing with one another. The situation was loud enough to be heard from the shopping area, and I found it to be very unprofessional and quite disturbing while I was trying to shop. As a customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect, especially from a local grocery store that prides itself on serving the community. Hearing employees raise their voices and argue openly gives a negative impression and makes the environment uncomfortable for shoppers. Because of this experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I recently shopped at Rouses and found the staff there to be noticeably more professional, courteous, and friendly. The cashiers were polite, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant -- exactly what customers hope to find in their local grocery store. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience I had at Nunu's in Youngsville, and based on this incident, I am unlikely to return. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of the staff to ensure other customers don't encounter the same issue.

The Butcher here makes some awesome chicken & apple sausage. WOZA. The best way to have his Chicken & apple sausage is for breakfast with Bourbon maple syrup & buckwheat pancakes. You can tell him I said that ;) Anyhoo, he also makes some amazing seafood stuffed mushrooms. Yum yum yum. I want to drive over right now & get some of those. Last time I stopped by I got a whole giant pack of them, BBQ'em on the grill, then hubby & I fought over them till one bounced off the grill & the cat ran off with it. The irony. They are slightly different than Poche's stuffed mushrooms these have a whole shrimp on top of them. Meow! :)' My only complaint is they don't carry any fresh baked breads by Gambino's Bakery & that is a cardinal sin for a Cajun place. Come on y'all? Don't be cheap coonass's order the Gambino bread & I will update my review. Merci à bientôt.
