The worst employees that I have had to deal with are the ones at customer service! That is a little odd, customer service should be the most helpful, Not at this location! ( Albertsons pkw Brousard) I can no longer deal with them and call the corporate customer service if have an issue with anything. They are much nicer and don't treat me like criminal for their own mistakes. Some of the employees are very nice and helpful but the bad ones ruin it. I don't understand why it is let continue , it is not just 1 either (but each time in customer service). It's a beautiful store and I did enjoy shopping there before I was treated so rudely on several occasions.

I was hungry and I hadn't eaten all day and they'd just cooked up a fresh batch that smelled great. Smelling great was about the only thing good about these. They were tough and salty. I definitely won't get any fried shrimp from Albertsons deli again. At least not from this particular location. Overall the stores was clean and the customer service was pretty good. I'll probably shop at this location again in the future.

When I came into the store earlier, I could clearly hear employees in the back arguing with one another. The situation was loud enough to be heard from the shopping area, and I found it to be very unprofessional and quite disturbing while I was trying to shop. As a customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect, especially from a local grocery store that prides itself on serving the community. Hearing employees raise their voices and argue openly gives a negative impression and makes the environment uncomfortable for shoppers. Because of this experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I recently shopped at Rouses and found the staff there to be noticeably more professional, courteous, and friendly. The cashiers were polite, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant -- exactly what customers hope to find in their local grocery store. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience I had at Nunu's in Youngsville, and based on this incident, I am unlikely to return. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of the staff to ensure other customers don't encounter the same issue.

I found Everything I was looking for. It seemed every employee that I walked pass either said hello or flashed a smile. I passed up the shopping carts and the employees were willing to show me where they were located one guy was in the food court telling me which shopping cart to get. Im really impressed by how nice everyone was. Even when I left the shopping cart attendant said have a wonderful day and be blessed. The ambiance was friendly and peaceful. The store was extremely clean. I drove in from Alexandria la to come here. The prices were very reasonable.

They didn't care about many things employees did. For example, I could wear almost anything I wanted as long as it didn't have a logo on it. Most of the employees I worked with at the time were really fun to work with, though. The deli was gross. What I would recommend is: DO NOT trust the deli department. The bakery was fun to be around. They knew how to have a good time while still being professional. One of the employees I knew unfortunately got fired not too long ago, and it honestly wasn't her fault. From what I saw and heard, produce was probably one of the easier departments to work in. If people didn't know something, they usually just asked questions and learned. However, one of the melon bar ladies was very two-faced. She would act nice while talking to you, but the moment you walked away she would immediately start talking badly about you behind your back. The produce manager was similar too. Instead of coming up and telling employees directly when something was done wrong, he would sometimes make other produce clerks do it for him. I heard about that happening multiple times. The store director was very old-fashioned. If something happened and a customer reported it to a manager or customer service, he wouldn't listen to different people's sides of the story to figure out what actually happened. Instead, he would immediately find the employee he thought was "at fault" and make them apologize, even if they weren't wrong. He also didn't take accountability. While I was working there, he once sent an employee home and later found out that the employee wasn't even in the wrong. He called him back and apologized for sending him home, but not for how he was treated. I saw everything that day, so I walked up to the employee and asked what happened. I heard multiple stories from coworkers and customers all saying the customer was rude and started yelling first. But did the store director try to figure out what really happened? No. He immediately blamed the employee instead of looking into the situation. Also, the store director is very money-hungry. At the time I worked there, he wouldn't let us work over 40 hours unless he personally approved it and he only cared about getting his bonus. I didn't mind working, but it became difficult when things were happening in my family and I wasn't getting paid for the hours I felt I should've been getting. I wanted part-time work, but before I knew it, I was working 8+ hour days just under the 40-hour mark. There really is no part-time unless you're a student or in college. I definitely won't be working there again. It seems nice at first, but once you realize what's really going on, you want to leave as soon as possible. For customers, it's a great store -- but not for the employees. With that said, Rouses, please hire better people.

This is our nearest WM, so I'm there several times/week…read more This store has many problems, even compared to other area WM's. The lynchpin is that management won't listen to customers. Examples: Few or no store brand diet drinks are carried. Sugar-free items are extremely limited. They are often out of their own specialties, more-so than other nearby WM's. It seems to me that there is ZERO customer-to-purchasing agent communication here. Couldn't they even check to see what folks in their immediate area are ordering for home delivery from WM on-line ? Recently, the pre-packed deli potato salads' seals have been opened. I have to return items frequently. Last week, I had to go through six containers of potato salad to find one unopened. When I tell employees of this, they just ignore me. Broken grocery carts are just returned to service w/o repair. We customers keep putting them aside, but the workers just put them back into the que. Their defects are obvious. As I must shop other area WM's in Lafayette, New Iberia, Crowley, & Baton Rouge; I note them to all be in better overall shape than Broussard's. Sad, Rick .

The Butcher here makes some awesome chicken & apple sausage. WOZA. The best way to have his Chicken & apple sausage is for breakfast with Bourbon maple syrup & buckwheat pancakes. Last time I stopped by I got a whole giant pack of them, BBQ'em on the grill, then hubby & I fought over them till one bounced off the grill & the cat ran off with it. The irony. They are slightly different than Poche's stuffed mushrooms these have a whole shrimp on top of them.
