Don's has the classic gas station setup, a ready to eat counter with BBQ and Cajun options, snack aisles, and fridge full of Cajun specialties. We ordered cracklings, boudin balls and crawfish pie. The boudin balls were the stand out. The cracklings were fresh and crunchy, but the seasoning is underwhelming. The crawfish pie missed the mark completely, not much crawfish, very doughy and the seasoning was pretty bland. Compared to the undisputed champion (looking at you, Billy's) with huge lines 24/7, Don's is a good option if you're willing to trade some of the quality with the convenience of no wait time.

This review is based on my visit on June 25, 2025…read more I have seen this advertised in the Saint Joseph's church bulletin for a long time and finally decided to run in here instead of Piggly Wiggly. I run in because I'm going to make a Cajun spaghetti so I need ground meat, sausage, and decided to just do a jar sauce instead of making it from scratch. Was definitely having a conversation with one of the workers who was stocking the shelves on the spaghetti aisle about making it from scratch or the jar. Well, I decided to go jar and bring everything up to the counter and had the pleasure of encountering Edra. I put my things on the counter, keeping in mind I have never been into the store before and chose to go here over Piggly Wiggly, Edra begins checking me out and looks at me and says everyone is coming in here for spaghetti today. I say oh we all must be on the same wavelength. Then she proceeds to say, "y'all are all lazy because y'all don't make your sauce from scratch." It took every being of my cell to not react to this very out of line statement. I don't care who you are, how old you are, what position you hold calling customers that are choosing to come to your store over other grocery stores that I had to pass up to get here is flat out rude. I just looked at her smiled and said I hope that you have a great day. She did not bother to hand me the receipt or the bags I had to walk around the counter, grab the bags and the receipt and I walked out. Needless to say, I will not be shopping there anymore and will happily choose Piggly Wiggly any day. It really pains me to say this because I do believe in local shops and if it would've been any other day, I probably would have not been very nice to Edra

What's a boneless stuffed chicken? Well. Just that. When I came into the store earlier, I could clearly hear employees in the back arguing with one another. The situation was loud enough to be heard from the shopping area, and I found it to be very unprofessional and quite disturbing while I was trying to shop. As a customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect, especially from a local grocery store that prides itself on serving the community. Hearing employees raise their voices and argue openly gives a negative impression and makes the environment uncomfortable for shoppers. Because of this experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I recently shopped at Rouses and found the staff there to be noticeably more professional, courteous, and friendly. The cashiers were polite, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant -- exactly what customers hope to find in their local grocery store. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience I had at Nunu's in Youngsville, and based on this incident, I am unlikely to return. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of the staff to ensure other customers don't encounter the same issue.

When I visited we got the Double Butcher Burger and the Hanz & Franzwich. The burger was good although, a little overcooked.
