My wife attended a continuing education class this past week in Pasadena, and I decided to tag along. The route on I-5 from the Bay to LA does not have many places to eat of note, so we tried to hold out as long as we could before stopping for food. We were about an hour away from our destination when we started getting really hungry. I checked Yelp and realized that I had bookmarked Crazy Hot Wings at some point in time, and that it was just a few minutes off of I-210. We drove up the hill in Tujunga taking in our first sights of SoCal until the restaurant popped up on our right. Once inside, we ordered a large hot wings (~14) and a side of curly fries. While most wing places are pretty slow, they managed to bring out our food in less than 5 minutes. The first thing I noticed was how many carrot and celery sticks they included with our meal. We could have just made a large snack out of the veggies. The wings were a little on the small side, but they were still good value for the price. The buffalo sauce had just enough of a kick for me to feel a slight burn from the sauce without being too spicy. The curly fries were fresh out of the fryer and were perfect for dipping in ranch. Overall, this was a very satisfying meal and we felt re-energized enough to make it through the last leg of our road trip. read more

I walked in to a small but super clean shop with a few tables for dine-in and couple flat screens TV's all around. Kinda like a sports bar, without the bar ;) I got the opportunity to speak with the lady owner a bit before my order was ready. She was such a kind and genuine person. Love the chicken wings from here. They are family owned and operated and started going here when they first opened. Lovely couple own the place and are always working which tells me the quality and service is pretty awesome! They never skimp on the ranch sauce either and their lemon pepper flavored wings are 10 times better than the franchise owned famous one that has a Buffalo in their logo. Their zucchini fried sticks are awesome as well. Keep up the good work and please don't change once your business is successful enough where you won't need to come in every day. I never dined at this place but I have ordered from them multiple times over the phone and in person. I can assure you that this place is one of the best hot wings places in the area. I used drive to Glendale for 15-20 minutes to get decent hot wings and since I discovered this place near my house, I never made that trip again. Finally a wings place that is utterly close to my house! This place is amazingly delicious and it definitely hit the spot. - It is a cute little Armenian owned, I'm guessing family business. The owners are super welcoming, helpful, and have incredible customer service! Parking is street parking as far as I know. It is indoor seating, in a well maintained and very clean indoor area! There are also TV's if you decide to stay. I ordered the Spicy Hot Wings 10pcs, with a side of cheese fries, and a small drink. I have to say, their cheese fries are so good! They're curly fries with nacho cheese - delicious! ; The wings are even more amazing, I happened to have leftovers to take home and I still munched on them a couple hours later after leaving, and they were still really great! - The veggies are fresh and crunchy, and comes with a side of your choice sauce.
