The name is a little scary and with the Halloween decorations made me wonder what I was entering. I will say this, my server was kind and cane back several times to check on me. Additionally, I received my food within 10 minutes after entering. My western omelet was huge and completely filling. It tasted good along with the sour dough toast. It was a good meal at a very reasonable price. Thank you Crazy Gals and to your staff for making it memorable experience.

Ordering eggs over easy most time they are cooked way to long I even get them with the yolk broken and cooked hard. Before if a yolk was broken you were offered a new egg cooked just right. The ham portions have decreased by half and many times the bacon is crispy in the middle and the ends don't even look like they have hit the griddle. I have even had the home fries hard seemingly uncooked in the middle . Just as a note these things have happened when there are just a few of us there not like the cook was slammed with orders. Makes me wonder if it is a matter of skill experiance or just don't give a darn as far as the cooks are considered?

I had the small Chicken Fried Chicken (enough for two meals) with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and a side salad to start. Water was my drink of choice. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak with fries and corn, along with an iced sweet tea and let me tell you, it's hard to find good sweet tea these days but they nailed it! He was thrilled with both his meal and his drink. Everything was delicious, comforting, and perfectly cooked. We saved and then shared some homemade banana pudding later in the evening to celebrate the Longhorns' win It was exactly what we needed! We'll definitely be returning soon and bringing the whole crew with us. ‍‍‍ I also really enjoyed the friendly conversation with the owner. Great food and great people! Thank you to everyone at The Junction Café for a wonderful experience!

But hopefully after learning from Alex, I will be able to make this on my own. This was a great collaboration with The Velvet Hen and VanBrocklin's Bistro. We learned the entire process beginning to end on how to make sourdough and the different folds and techniques to get the proper size crumb. We got to go home with our own jar of the families 244 year old sourdough starter named Petunia, and learned how to feed her and care for her. We got to bake a loaf there and learned why it's so important to wait 2 hours before cutting into it. I am desperately looking forward to more classes in the future, this was a great experience!
