The staff were very welcoming and helpful ushering everyone to ticketed areas. A full bar and bites are available to pay with cash or card. There is a balcony level which overlooks the entire hall. The acoustics and lighting were a great touch. I would return for another event! Check website for various event and concert schedules. **parking is limited. Close to major transportation. If it's a sold out / crowded show I can definitely see how this is overwhelming for a small child. If you have a child under 5 I'd say to avoid, especially since they can't really see the stage unless you pick them up. Another huge disappointment was that Taylor Swift was not dressed up. When we saw this show at Starland Ballroom Taylor was in costume. At White Eagle the singer was just wearing a black Rock and Roll Playhouse tee shirt. I think they could've had a lot more fun with this and the kids would've been excited. For a sold out show they also could have also kept both sides of the bars open. Lines were crazy long. And for the kids drink on special they should probably consider offering a lid with the cup. It felt like miss after miss for a 'kid friendly' event, so we probably wouldn't head back here for a Rock and Roll Playhouse, or at least I'd wait until my kids were older.

This was honestly one of the coolest billiard experiences I've ever had! When I first arrived I…read morethought it was just a private pool room, but it was way bigger then expected. For $50 an hour this place is soooo worth it! I loved the simple decor, but small touches like the neon light, color changing lamps, and fun chairs make this just a cool place. There's also a Bluetooth speaker in here so you can put on your favorite music. There was also a small nook with a fridge to place drinks. The next room/area was more for lounging it had a couch with a tv if you want to put anything on. The bathroom was also in this area and clean given nobody comes in to clean in-between reservation spots. Overall, this place is great to come chill with a group of friends or to celebrate your birthday playing some pool with a group. Loved the idea/concept behind it; would love if we had this back home!

One room had the pool table and bluetooth speakers, there was a connecting area that had a mini fridge and small table for four, and the second room had some couches, chairs, TV and a private restroom. It's a great little space to hold a small get together, party, or just a quiet spot to chill and play some pool. We had about 20 people and fit very comfortably. If you're looking for an affordable spot to rent out for a get together or to play some pool, Sharks Pool Club would be perfect for your needs.

It's been years since hanging out here. Lots of space for big groups, and it has been busy…read moreeverytime I have been. Came for a birthday party (that was moved from a park last minute because of the rain). We were in the front room and had 3 large party platters of food. The food was tasty overall - there were 2 platters with fried chicken, jalapeño poppers, huge pretzels, fries, mozzarella sticks, celery, and a lot of sauces. There was also a platter with a bbq theme with smaller pretzels, pulled pork, sausage, kraut, cabbage, german potato salad, smoked wings/chicken, ribs, another type of meat, fries, and sauces/cheese dip. A member of the staff said the front room wasn't child friendly and a couple had to sit in the big noisy room in the back with their kid while the majority of the party was up front. Not really sure why it mattered because both rooms have bars serving alcohol, and later on more and more kids were staying up front and no one told them to move. The same staff member went around taking used plates, cups and attempted to remove the food platters when they were still actively being picked over (a pet peeve of mine). He did try to accommodate us in the back by offering a long table (but it wasn't enough for the whole group) so it became the kids table. The bartender was attentive and I did not have to wait to long to be served. They have a large jug of water so you can serve yourself and the bartender can focus on everything else. I had a couple of gin and tonics that were under $9 each. They let the party bring in and serve a homemade cake.

When Jersey City was known, but slightly unknown. More for the if you know, you know people. I came back recently and was still amazed recollecting the nostalgia. It's just one of those places where you have to go during the summer, but can also go during any live sporting events. The camaraderie you get inside the biergarten is one of a kind. The summers are perfect when hundreds are people are flocked outside. Drinks are pouring plentifully and pretzels and other food are gleefully shared with crowds of people. In other words, just because Zeppelin Hall is a bit older than other spots here, it doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.
