They came for a few minutes on the initial visit and charged 500 plus dollars to take care of the problem completely and seal entry points. I have called The Beeman Jose 3 times to come back to get rid of the Bees as they keep coming back. He now doesn't want to honor is work guarantee. Jose wants to charge and addition 500 plus dollars to put some more pesticide and seal another entry point. The point here is that the job should've been done right the first time.. if not the second. Find yourself a Beeman that can take care of the problem all at once!!! Do not pay any additional fees for a guaranteed service of 6 months. These people want to take advantage of an old blind man that lives on his own. Well I waited as long as I could but I need to Yelp! Crazy Bee Man greatest discovery on Yelp! Needed a bee guy been having the same problem for years. This guy the owner José is the real deal. I call him on a Saturday he calls me back and lucky me at my home shortly after I kid you not. He reviews my issue beehives on three sides of my house. I explain my issues as well as I have landscapers coming on Friday and a new roof the week after. So he tries to time it but I had such a large swarm they were looking for a new home so he came back immediately that night so landscapers would have no issues. Unfortunately the roof got delayed due to rain so unfortunately some were there to greet the roofers. Ouch Jose quickly came back he is like family now. Anyway once roof is done we will gladly pay him to inspect roof so it is undesirable to bees lol. Only in South Florida you can't make this up. Crazy Bee Man is absolutely the best! I spoke to Jose who was KNOWLEDGEABLE and friendly. He immediately put me on the schedule for the afternoon. Once he showed up, he surveyed the area and told me my options. He was not only reasonably priced but he gave us two options to guarantee his work. We opted for the second option which included (Jose and his son), to seal the area which provided a few extra months of guarantee. Jose was not on a rush and answered all my questions and put me at ease. They did the first part of the job which was dealing with the bees and came back 48 hours later to seal the area. They showed up on time and spent time to make sure the job was done 100% correctly. After the area was sealed, Jose walked the whole perimeter of the house and gave us suggestions on better protecting our house against not only bees but other predators as well. I called the Crazy Bee Man because I had a swarm of bees in my front yard. After he asked me several questions, he was honest enough to say that instead of taking my money , that I should just give it a few days and that the bees would most likely go away. This is worthy of an excellent review because it is rare to find people who are just honest like he is. The bees are gone and I did not have to spend money. Do not agree to kill bees. Never, ever. If Jose cannot do a live removal find someone else. Despite my plea for live removal, although on the initial consultation that is what Jose promised. But on the day of the service, was told not worth saving these feral bees (not true all bees can be saved) state of Florida has a great program in protecting bees. The poisoned death of these bees who were inside my drywall caused me maggots, unbearable stench, and additional cost of $3350 to remove the dry wall, disinfect and rebuilt my wall. Day of service was September 22 and still dealing with the consequence. Jose did come back and apologize and I do appreciate that. This is a sincere review for anyone who is looking to do a bee removal, do not agree to the extermination. Many business provide the ethical live removal including bottling the honey. read more

I had called another bee removal outfit, but they used scare tactics to try to get me to hire them, and quoted me an outrageous price...without even seeing the extent of the problem,or letting me send them a picture of where the problem was. And they wouldn't repair the roof after they tear it open So I called the Crazy Bee Man (-love the name!), and he worked me into his schedule that same day. He stopped by and saw the area I reported seeing the bees. He said there is no hive yet, and it was probably scouts looking for a place for their hive. Then told me how to prevent it: cut back the plant that was growing into the roof, and seal the holes with mesh or stainless steel scrubbing pads that you can get at The Dollar store!) No charge- it was an old fashioned courtesy call. You can believe I will call him in the future and refer him to others.
