Omg! We go here once a week and they're the best crawfish anywhere. They top crawfish shack, places we've been to Galveston and just anywhere else! Tonight though, they've outdone them self. My boyfriend and I both ordered 2 pounds of crawfish, and we noticed his were a little small, but we ate them happily. When we finished, the manager came out with a hot batch of huge crawfish and said our last ones were too small and they apologize....we didn't even complain and they fixed their mistake!!!! Our waitress, Kaylee, was FIVE STARS!!!! They were pretty busy so the wait was longer than normal, but Kaylee was so apologetic and sweet and she's just awesome!!!! read more

I love this restaurant. Really. I thought I loved Crawfish Shack and John E's (formerly Crawfish Hut) but oh boy, was I wrong. I don't know where to even start. Crawfish? Oh yeah. They are huge! My husband and I feel like we've been cheated by all of our past experiences with the other Crawfish places in Crosby. Five pounds is more than enough for my husband and I to share. We normally go with their combo plate of 5 pounds crawfish and one pound shrimp. They own their own crawfish farm in Louisiana so from what we're told it makes their prices lower. The flavor is fantastic. Medium is our choice and it has a good bite without having to take a drink after every bite. Also, it's BYOB! Our service has been fantastic. I have no idea what Kimberly is talking about with the cussing waitresses. They have always been very polite and overly helpful. Yes, quite a few of them have tattoos but they aren't hideous and they certainly don't look like they work in a tattoo parlor. The wait time is my favorite part.. we've been here five or six times so far and NEVER had to wait for a table.. Within ten minutes or so we're elbow deep in crawfish. Parking is a breeze. The only thing confusing is the drive thru. Some people aren't smart enough to circle around and come up which had blocked a few cars from passing through. All in all, this is our new Crawfish home. All I can say is wow! It's been years since we've paid a visit to Crawfish Kings. I initially believe we weren't to impressed and switched over to Crawfish Shack and stuck with them ever since. Couple things lead us to try Crawfish Kings out: 1.) The other places 8.50 is INSANE! We eat close to 15lbs. I much rather a steak dinner at Papas for what it would cost there and 2.) We noticed about 2 years ago or so the other place's crawfish just wasn't purged right anymore. We saw Crawfish King's FB post on them cleaning and sorting so we though all that with new ownership should be good. We think we found our new spot! Their crawfish was so clean, seasoned just right and appreciated their hottest level being actually hot. This was the best crawfish we have ever had. We picked up to eat at home since we have very little ones and they do need cover but on a perfect coolish day we'd love to actually sit there. We eat crawfish well over 10 times a season and look forward to going back. Also, for the beginning of the season they had so pretty good size mud bugs. Don't change anything Crawfish Kings! My wife and I decided to try Crawfish Kings last night February 13 2016. We waited over an hour for our food, just like everyone else. 45 minutes in to the wait we ask out waitress if she knew how much longer the waiting period would be. She said "no clue". At that point we just figured we needed to try the crawfish assuming the crawfish would be outstanding. In short! We will never go back, thus I wouldn't recommend it. read more

It's sad that we are in the year 2016 and people still get treated wrong just because their skin color is different . A group of us decided to go get some crawfish on a Saturday afternoon and we did not get treated fair. People that ordered after us got their food and we waited nearly 2 hours to even get our food. We didn't even get to eat because they took so long . The owner told us to leave because we were so frustrated by the way we were treated. It was clearly obvious that he did not like us because of our skin color , I know the difference . I do not recommend anyone to go to this place . The waitress here openly cusses as they are taking your order, and Margaret discriminates against bigger people especially her own waitresses that herself had hired, saying they are not allowed to wear shorts because of their size. So unfair in a work place. As far as the food it is a hit and miss. Sometimes your crawfish will have a little bit of flavor and others it will be bland and over cooked. I have seen people leave and go to the other crawfish place down the road. Would not recommend this place to NO ONE. read more

We've been here several times. The food is good and atmosphere is relaxed. There is a bouncy house to keep the kids busy. I like the LA Hot crawfish. It has great flavor and is spicy enogh to be good and not burn my lips off! Lol read more

The crawfish here are great and the prices are reasonable. I've been here for the past 2 years now and they've always done a great job in maintaining the quality of their seafood. Why am I only giving it 4 stars? Well, yesterday was their last day and I had called an hour before arrival to ask about reserving some crawfish. The manager said it wasn't allowed and she wouldn't do it because they were almost sold out. Because of this, I ended up not going but my friend ended up going anyways to take a chance. I found out that the manager reserved him 15lbs upon his request. I don't know if it's discrimination or favoritism but I thought that was tasteless and rude. My husband came here before. And he said it was great food. We had ordered 1 lb of shrimps. 5 lbs of crawfishs with 2 potatoes and corns. La hot seasoning in it. When the food came out. It was no seasoning in it. It was not hot fresh and no corn and potatoes in it. We also asked our server for 2 ketchup and 2 mayonnaises. She had brought out one of each. I had to asked another server to give us an extra one out to us. Our server was not pleasant at all. I understand we had bad days or in bad mood. But don't expect us to read your mind unless you speak up. She was not a good hospitality. I always tip out 20 % or more. But my heart was not there for me to tip her at all. It was awesome! Passed by another place down the road that was packed! Stopped in to crawfish kings running a special for 4.80 a pound for a 15 pound box with corn and potatoes. So we went with a party of 10 and requested a specific waitress. This waitress was great, can't say as much for anything else. We ordered over $200 of crawfish and my corn dog. My corn dog was served to me still FROZEN!!!!! One in my party was sick even before we finished the food. When the frozen corn dog was mentioned, we were told not to say anything. As we left there were several cars waiting for food in the to go window. All were told they were out of crawfish!! As we stood at our cars a lady came out and said they were closed because they ran out of food. They rushed us out. That was so rude. I made it about 3 miles before I was sick!!!!! We went there last night, and the service was mediocre at best, the spices were not spicy(the atomic was closer to generic ground black pepper ), and the few mud bugs they had were cold. I give them one star, because they ran out of crawfish at 9:00, ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!!!! And their hours are only till 9!!! On a Saturday! And when they ran out, they pretty much told everyone to get out! 9:30, and they walk through telling everyone it is time to leave! They unplug the inflatable slide as kids are trying to off. But that is what you get when you have people who are more interested in attitude, than customer service. the worst crawfish i have ever had. they sould be embarrassed to clam to be cajun. of course small, water logged soft crawfish. and there was no way i recived 5lbs. they must have weighed all the boil water in my tray. i could not even finish. boudin is ok at best. mushrooms are boiled in separate water only pot. no taste. they dont even play zydeco music. had to lesen to john denver. i like it hot and usually i have to put my toilet paper in the freezer, well not this time... read more

We went there today for our first time at lunch. We ordered the meat pizza (plus olives) and it was one of the BEST pizza I've eaten in a long time - certainly better than any local that I've had. Visited for the second and last time today. On the first visit, they ran out of propane on a Sat. afternoon and we waited for an hour for our food. Service was not great that day but we chalked it up to the propane issue. Today's visit - they would not vary the spicing of the order as they did on the first visit, claiming they were busy. When the crawfish arrived, they were barely even lukewarm, and boudin was downright cold. We sent the boudin back, told the waitress about the cold crawfish, and asked to see the manager - who never came to our table. Very disappointed in the service and quality. For the price I expect better and can get it by going on down the road to Crawfish Shack. There's a reason why they are always packed and Crawfish Kings is not. Too bad as they have a different take on their spice, but it's not enough to override the negatives. Won't be returning. read more

Just to put in perspective how amazing this place is, my boyfriend and I drive from Cypress at least once a week to eat here. We always start off with either red beans and rice or the boudain link. (never fails its amazing) Then we get the Kings Shrimp Platter- 5 lbs of crawfish and 1 lb. of shrimp, 2 corn, 2 potatoes... and it FILLS us BOTH up! We get the hottest seasoning "make you cry" and its delish.. EVERY TIME- the only thing you have to watch for is if they have kids back there cooking it, it usually comes out SUPER HOT- (for whatever reason :) ) The staff is always friendly and consistent which gives the place a nice family feel. I have never not once been there in the past 2 years and not seen the owner. His presence is what I think makes the vibe of the place so consistent. The only teeny tiny complaint I have is for some reason whenever we order mushrooms, we either have to ask for them twice, or don't get them at all, and you don't get very many for the price.
