I was disappointed when they were out of blonde brownies. What shocked me was they were also out of vanilla ice cream AND whipped cream! I couldn't believe it. An ice cream shop being out of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream is like a burger shop being out of burgers. It's outrageous! The situation sounds like a bit from a comedy. Alas, it is the reality of this place: they are consistently out of something every time I visit. Because the staff was friendly and helpful, I suspect that the problem begins with management. The owners need to speak with the managers (or whoever keeps the products in stock), so they can perform inventory checks and ensure that they keep the bare basics available for customers (like vanilla ice cream and whipped cream). If this place goes under, it will be because of their inability to keep items they offer in stock. Sadly, I will not return. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." They will not get a chance to fool me thrice, not even for *thrice* cream ;)

Pie Fight does not have an interior area for guests, but rather operates from a grab and go window. We ordered two hand pies-- the apple crumble and blueberry lemon-- and had them warmed up. The staff there was very prompt with taking our order and preparing our food. We ended up taking the pies back to our hotel room because the seating on the deck out front had no lighting. Both pies were very good, but overall we preferred the classic apple crumble better than the blueberry lemon. I would definitely go back if we return to Utah, but maybe a little earlier in the day so we could walk around and enjoy our pies.
