The owners need to speak with the managers (or whoever keeps the products in stock), so they can perform inventory checks and ensure that they keep the bare basics available for customers (like vanilla ice cream and whipped cream). If this place goes under, it will be because of their inability to keep items they offer in stock. Sadly, I will not return. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." They will not get a chance to fool me thrice, not even for *thrice* cream ;)

The girl helping us was nice and engaged conversation when we asked about the thrift shop. Solid service. Once we go home, we heated up the strawberry rhubarb and apple cobbler for one minute. That wasn't long enough so I'd do 1:35 next time. That would ensure the ice cream would melt a bit more. We started with the key lime pie; oh my ... it was epically delicious. This was as good as key lime pie we had in Captiva and The Keys in Florida. Then we dove into the other two. The strawberry rhubarb was 75% crust and 25% filling. I'd love to see more filling there. Compared to a grandma's strawberry rhubarb; it wasn't on par. It was a 3.75/5. Next up was the apple cobbler. A classic. It was pretty much what we expected and so was more on the 2/5 scale. We started so strong with the key lime pie that the bar was set high. Overall a good experience and the night ended on 3 empty cardboard containers filled with crust, melted vanilla ice cream and happy tears of our daughter's new journey. Don't fight it; try the Pie Fight.

I don't have to eat gluten free, but LOVE the cupcakes and bars here. Not sure what the other poster meant about the peanut butter bars, they are the best! I have teenagers that prefer Sweet Cake's bars to other bakeries, gluten free or not. I was happy to see that the products also freeze well. The portions are huge! so this is helpful since there are no preservatives (thankfully). Great products! read more

I've also had their hoagie sandwich, and it was so good. The bread is soft, fluffy, and actually holds together, which is rare for gluten-free. They hand slice all of their deli meat and cheese, and you can tell everything is fresh. Their brownies are incredible and loaded with chocolate chips, but my personal favorite is the vanilla cupcakes with their dreamy chocolate frosting. They're the kind of cupcakes you think about later for no reason. The space itself is more modern and open than cozy. It's clean, simple, and has a bright, café-style setup with counter ordering and seating if you want to stay. I do wish they offered hot chocolate. They do have canned sodas, but the one I got was room temperature, so I usually skip those now. Other than that, I would get just about everything here. You can also buy their rolls, bread, and other packaged goods to take home, which makes it even better. It's such a great spot to have, especially being fully gluten free.
