Mexican wedding cookies, Boston cream cupcake, not sure what the other is

I went back and got a cinnamon roll and it was AMAZING. Great texture. Nice burnt sugar flavor along the edges. Gooey yummy frosting. There were a ton of cinnamon rolls there so go get one!!

Blueberry lemon bar and a lemon bar

This is the third time I've tried this bakery. I didn't like the brownie or peanut butter bar the first time I came, they tasted almost bitter without sweetness, but I thought I'd try this bakery again and get other items. This time was great! The lemon bar is super good. The highlight was the lemon lavender cupcake. That's not something I'd normally try but I asked the girl behind the counter for a recommendation and am so glad I did! Really good. The cinnamon roll was great too. The blueberry lemon bar is good as well- very lemony if you like lemon. So glad I went back. Definitely worth a try. I'm not gluten free or vegan and pleasantly surprised.

Gluten Free Magic! Beautiful, Tastey, and made with love! My twins have celiac and their childhood has been nourished by their yumminess! Order one of a kind cakes that bring Joy! Schedule a tea party for a perfect memory with your girlfriends, sisters, Aunts, mom, grandmother. Sweet Cakes are best utilized around the holidays, so order early to add the perfect home made touch of gluten free. The owner decorates her shop like a Hallmark movie. I love to get boxes of gf treats to say thank you to teachers, carpool neighbors, coaches, and friends. we are excited to see the new confections of deliciousness they create. totally worth it!

This is a great place to stop for those that struggle with food intolerances. The service is good but at times I wish more personable. They specialize in gluten free and vegan options. The flavors are rotational, so it's nice to have variety instead of a constant flavor choice. My husband surprised me with a birthday cake from the bakery and it was nice to have a cake I could actually eat and share with my family that wasn't frozen or gross. Peep my beautiful neutral glitter vanilla cake It's a quiet bakery with a calm ambiance.

My family and I had a terrible experience here. The facility is gross. The customer service is terrible. I would give 0 stars if I could.

One of the better GF bakeries wish they had a location in salt lake. We would go more often.

I just posted another review, they finally delivered my order, so all is good now! It just took quite some time to get it.

Gluten-free donuts? Gluten-free cinnamon rolls? Any dairy-free options?

Everything is gluten free and their menu rotates! I love the cinnamon rolls. They have Vegan options, not sure about dairy-free. Follow them on Instagram for the daily menu: @sweetcakeut

Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. I remark every single time about how quick they are to serve us our food. They have remembered my family and bring us our drinks without even needing to ask. Their food is delicious, and we appreciate the authenticity. If you haven't been, and aren't near by to partake in their amazing food regularly, you HAVE to try the Philly asada omelet. You won't regret it!! I saw a comment about the restaurant being dark, but the lighting seems great. Anything much brighter would probably upset my eyes, especially early in the morning (as that's when we typically go). Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family. We appreciate your business and hope you continue to succeed!

Really, everything we try, never disappoints! Bonus, I met Annie and she went above and beyond helping me tonight. Her story is something else-- and I always love supporting good people! The in-restaurant menu gives the option of ordering fries, onion rings, or a cup of soup for an extra charge ($4.25 for soup). So I ordered a cup of the French onion with my burger. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo crepe with the French onion. I really enjoyed the burger, which was spicy and flavorful. My wife did not like the Monte Cristo crepe, which was lacking in texture and not very tasty. Apparently a Monte Cristo doesn't work as a crepe? The French onion soup was a glutenous ball as the bread became incredibly soggy in the broth. But the broth itself was flavorful. The food was mixed, but the bigger problem came when it was time to pay the bill. I was shocked when it turned out to be almost $20 higher than expected. I was charged $12.95 for each soup. I pointed out the discrepancy and the server took one of the soup charges off the bill. I pointed out that this was still an overcharge based on the listed price of $4.25 on the menu, but apparently the "cup of soup" on the menu did not include French onion, which is something that should have been clearly shown on the menu or at least explained by the server when I ordered it. Not wishing to argue the matter further I paid the bill with an abbreviated tip and left. Given the lack of communication and the exorbitant prices charged for middling food, we will not be back.

Ichiro Ramen = Pure Comfort in a Bowl…read more If happiness had a flavor, it would be the tonkotsu ramen from Ichiro! The broth is rich, creamy, and packed with that perfect umami goodness -- like a warm hug for your soul. The noodles? Chef's kiss. The pork? Melts like butter. The restaurant itself is super cozy and beautiful -- soft lighting, cherry blossom art, and a calm, modern vibe that makes you want to stay forever. The Service is always friendly. The hostess is so sweet, kind and helpful. The Chef is always smiling and so kin and my bowl always arrives piping hot and perfect. Ichiro Ramen has officially become my go-to "treat yourself" spot. I went with a friend and wanted to treat her to a late lunch or early dinner. She ordered one of the meat ramens and said it was the best ramen she's had in Utah so far -- she's even planning to bring her husband back. My ramen, on the other hand, was fine. I got the vegan ramen and asked for it to be made spicy. It looked spicy -- it was a deep red -- but it honestly just tasted like water and corn. Or corn water. It was very bland. Edible, but not good. I carry pepper and crushed red pepper packets with me everywhere, and even after dumping a bunch in, it still had no flavor. Also, it wasn't filling. I had to go home and eat another meal. I wouldn't recommend this place for vegan meals unless you live next door.

The guy working here was pretty friendly, but my experience overall was just not impressive…read more The primary reason I give two stars is my family and I were ordered (and were the only customers in the store). As we were finishing our order, another customer came in and she clearly knew the guy working. As we were waiting for our two açaí bowls to be made. Her drink was prepared and served to her long before we ever got our bowls. This would maybe make sense if there had been two employees here making stuff and her drink was simply made faster than our, but there was only one guy working, so he prioritized her over us. Perhaps there is a justifying reason, but it's really just not a good look. The açaí bowls themselves were solid 6/10's. They weren't bad my any means, but I wish there was an option not to have them crammed with protein, because it causes the açaí to taste really chalky. The consistency was also not great. Both bowls seemed almost completely melted by the time we got them, so much so it ALMOST would have made more sense to eat them with straws. The location itself has a lot of empty space, and very little seating. While you won't be disappointed if you come, as the bowls were still a refreshing breakfast, I'd suggest you look elsewhere
