I guess examine wise this was okay, it was our second visit. My child has Type 1 diabetes, while I don't expect every person to understand Type 1 diabetes I expect them to understand the power in their words when it comes to my 7 year old son. Also if you are a medical professional or have access to google and can look up Type 1 before my son walks into your office, for the appointment we are paying for--that might help. I always let Drs, dentists anyone who might need to know for an appointment. I don't bring him in blindly. During the exam, Dr. Crain said he was looking into my sons eyes because diabetics hemorrhage in their eyes. My son is super healthy aside from his autoimmune disorder with a perfect A1c which I told to the Dr. Still he freaked my son out with this fact. I don't recommend Dr. Crain for children, if he can't understand that telling a 7 year old boy he is going to hemorrhage in his eyes might not be the best idea. read more
