I mentioned more like you want the money, going there in person was not necessary, but would be in order to collect the fees. I was told you can always go to SEAMAR. As it was cheaper and they would do refiled without a visit. Well that was strange reply. As I'm sure if I had never been there they would in fact not do so. What she was implying was that they have lower standards. Which was no even close to what not questions was about. She was just not going to admit that a policy of there's was in fact a way of making money. And if you cant a afford it then your welcome to go else where. Susan's words. Inside Anacortes Family Medicine, the staff is very nice and helpful. The front desk helps with anything you need. The nurses are great, and the doctors tend to run mostly on time. I've rarely had to wait too long - there are exceptions, but emergencies do come up. The clinic is a part of Island Hospital, and they are only a few blocks away from the Island Hospital ER. This is good because sometimes situations call for an ER visit, and the doctors have referred me down there on a handful of occasions throughout my life. Since they are affiliated with Island Hospital, they have good access to specialists for situations calling for one, as well as special testing done in a lab. They use the lab at Island Hospital. There is not one inside the clinic. There is an urgent care facility housed in the same building as Anacortes Family Medicine, and if Anacortes Family Medicine cannot fit you in to see a doctor, the urgent care can - there just might be a bit of a wait. This is very convenient. I highly recommend Anacortes Family Medicine!

This is not the case with Dr. Brianna. She truly desires to figure out the root cause of your health issues. I was due in September for a quick blood work phone call to check how my medications were working. I was paying out of pocket, and my appointment for this 15-20 minute call in May was $50. I spoke with Alyssa and she explained if I became a member in September, the appointment would be included. A membership is $65. I hung up, prepared to pay and sign up in September like we discussed. They sent me paperwork to sign up for August, not what we had discussed. I let them know I wanted to start in September because I wouldn't be using their services, and that's when the cold unfriendly emails began. Like wtf. First, they said that since my last appointment was in May, no I couldn't sign up until I had another full patient appointment. (News to me) Then, they told me that their prices just went up so no, it isn't just $50 to go over blood work. The tone of the email was unfriendly and borderline rude and it was clear they wanted me to sign up and pay $65 for a month I wasn't even using their services and I'm not okay with that. It sounded like they were making things up to make it very inconvenient for me to wait. This is not a place I would recommend doing business with. I called their office and a rude person told me it was not their problem or job to monitor my health insurance that they decided not to accept my insurance any more this is after being a loyal patient for many years and paying all my bills on time. i found out later that the staff did not even know until that day same as me. On all but one occasion I have been told they are all booked up and that I should go to Urgent Care. On my last visit to Urgent Care the nurse mentioned that I was the fourth patient that morning not able to get an appointment with their FMA primary care doc. The management at FMA need to take a hard look at their business plan. Although my husband and I like Dr Newton we have no choice but to move to another practice that cares about their patients best interest.

Both Dr. Cousins and Nurse treat her as a young adult and let's her explain what's going on. 4.5 My 4 year old sees Dr. Richards. My son has austism. Dr. Richards is amazing with him. He's patient, nice answers all my questions and generally seems to care about kids. Nurses are also very patient with him and are really nice. 5 I see Erin Rieger and Dr. Garde. I've seen Erin for about 10 years. She seems to care about your needs and is nice. Nurses are nice and attentive 5 Dr. Garde is freaking amazing. If I could have her as my PCP I would in a heart beat. She delivered both my 12 and 4 year old. (Both C-sections ) She's also done a few other surgeries. She's nice and Passionate about her job.
