Here is an optimized version of the review for Yelp:…read more "My experience at Skagit Regional Clinics was extremely disappointing. The doctors there are overworked and are expected to complete an unrealistic amount of work in a limited time frame, leading to rushed patient examinations and incomplete paperwork. It is clear that there are systemic issues within the clinic's management that need to be addressed. During my visits, I often felt hurried out of the exam room without receiving a thorough examination or proper medical advice. The doctors seemed too busy to fill out mandatory forms accurately or provide adequate treatment plans. As a result, I suffered extended recovery times and even had issues with my work injury compensation due to their negligence. Overall, I would not recommend Skagit Regional Clinics until they address these issues and provide better care for their patients." Simply go look at indeed or any job website and seek out the reviews the actual doctors who worked there are saying about the place and you will also seek out other options. If doctors are consistently overworked then they are incapable of doing a thorough complete job

Who knows their body better? The person being treated or the person who just met this person? I have called Patient Relations several times to no avail! Complete crickets! I have asked for a call from the manager of the clinic where I had my problem, and total CRICKETS! I have written 2 letters to the CEO, but he must be too busy at his villa on some Pacific Island! I guess if they make their money, they don't care about the people that they harm!

I was a patient at Burlington Family Practice before the Peace Health switch. Originally I had a…read moregreat doctor who was very knowledgeable. She retired soon after I began seeing her. I was switched over to Eric Stark. Eric is a nice guy with a good bedside manner and although he didn't have the scope of knowledge that my original doctor at this practice had, he means well and does his best to find solutions. He even gave me his personal cell number for around the clock support and help when I was going through a serious health issue which I wouldn't have discovered without him urging me to get further testing. Unfortunately, he takes long vacations and I often had to see other doctors or PAs because Eric wasn't available. A couple of which were pretty awful. Both were rude and condescending and not helpful at all. I have never had issues with the nurses. They have always been nice and good at their jobs. I noticed the quality of the entire practice from top to bottom go downhill after the Peace Health merge. Peace Health has some stupid policies for starters. The atmosphere also became much more cold and impersonal. They brought in some new front desk people who didn't have very good customer service skills. The last time I saw a doctor at this practice was a couple of months ago. She was nice and helpful and I wouldn't mind seeing her again but I had already decided to switch doctors and practices at that point. I already had an appointment with a new doctor at Skagit Regional Clinic lined up for July. The ultimate reason that I decided to switch was a culmination of disappointments with Peace Health practices but also even moreso it was my experience with one particular doctor who was subbing for Eric Stark during one of his many absences. I have had bad experiences with a few other doctors in the past but that was by far the worst. I honestly had to get up and walk out of that room because otherwise, things might have gotten ugly. The way that woman treated me was horrible. She seriously shouldn't be practicing if she treats patients like that. It's hard to find doctors just in general nowadays but especially good quality doctors. Regardless, I would recommend looking elsewhere before considering this place.

Anasthesiologist answered my concerns, was reassuring, and clearly was sharp and competent. Dr Dy reassured me, letting me know he used a smaller 'pediatric' probe for colonoscoies and that he had done thousands of them successfully. Trouble areas: Floor in bathroomin patient prep area was not clean. Black mold/dirt on most of grout. [I did professional resort cleaning and can tell clean from dirty!] Looked like understaffing or some gaps in patient care. After I was fully prepped I was left alone with zero info. I was all hooked up to monitors and had IV port inserted. Bed rail was up. I had to use bathroom. No call button. Everyone was rushing by. After about 40 min I got someone's attention and was freed to use bathroom. When I returned no one was there so after abot 15 minutes of beeping I hooked myself up as best I vould to the monitors. Another wait and this time I caught the attention of another random staff person to tell them I needed to use the bathroom. After surgery I told nurse in recovery room about this. She said there was a problem during a procedure. The issue is not so much about the very long wait time but the lack of checking on me to notify me there was a delay and to not trap me in my bed alone hooked up with monitors and trapped in by rail but endure I can access bathroom as needed while waiting and give me at least some idea of likely wait tine, or if unsure, check back in, even if it this is via a volunteer and very brief.

I ended up having acute leukemia and nearly died in the following days. Thank god I was transferred to UW Med where I received phenomenal state of the art care. In the days before being admitted I had a facial injury which resulted in bruising and cuts in my mouth that were very slow to heal because of the leukemia. I was having a hard time communicating due to this and was treated as if I was doing it intentionally to be a difficult patient. Any expression of my dissatisfaction was met with being ignored for hours on end while I was having difficulty breathing and my oxygen dropped to dangerous levels. My pain and fever were never adequately managed. This is a great place to go if you enjoy feeling powerless and receiving care that is substandard at best and deliberately malicious at worst. I wish Raquel nothing but the worst, you evil wretch.
