The Rooster has an upscale dive bar feel with a welcoming vibe and eclectic décor that makes it feel both fun and comfortable. I was told I had to try the frozen espresso martini, and it did not disappoint. It was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. It was definitely like a dessert! After that, I asked what other frozen drinks were on the menu and was told about the frozen orange creamsicle with vodka. Of course, I had to try it and wow, it was fantastic! Refreshing, citrusy, and perfect for a warm day. We had already eaten lunch, so we only stopped in for drinks, but all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great. We did order the fried pickles to share, and they were very good. We'll definitely be back to The Rooster to watch a game and enjoy another frozen espresso martini or orange creamsicle sometime soon.

The menu touts the place as the "Luxury Neighborhood Dive" and the atmosphere and decor screams just that. While the bar was not luxurious, the atmosphere and decor epitomized "divey". We each had a burger and fries. They were tasty and a bit larger than I expected. Bingo, which started at 7p, made the place more exciting and raucous. The atmosphere during the games increased the attractiveness of the tavern and made me want to return on different days. I can definitely see why this is a neighborhood jaunt.

A big shoutout to our server Macy -- she was incredibly attentive with excellent customer service. Truly one of the best servers we've ever had. We tried the Triple Play (house-made avocado smash, fire-roasted salsa, and chipotle queso with chips). I'd give it a 7/10. The queso was a bit too salty and not hot enough. It was fun to try something new, but we probably won't order it again. I still highly recommend the Southwest salad with steak -- full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I'd also order the Avocado Smash Burger next time (or after the salad). Really tasty.

Not only were they serving past midnight, but the whole team made us feel completely welcome. Our server Nicole was absolutely fantastic. She greeted us the moment we walked in and took great care of us all night. I had the salmon, which was delicious and fresh, and a cosmo to aid a much needed jet lag, made by the other bartender (Brianna, I believe). Absolutely on point. My dad, who honestly isn't hard to please, wasn't a fan of his pot roast, and this is where the night really stood out. Joe, the manager on duty, came over personally, handled it without hesitation, and recommended the sirloin with asparagus, which my dad loved. He even remade my dad's old fashioned in a nanosecond, exactly to his liking. I've never had a manager take that much genuine concern in how our dining experience was going. A total breath of fresh air. Great atmosphere all around with the games, the music, and the staff. We stayed a little late (I'll blame my dad for that, lol) and never once felt rushed or unwanted. I don't usually write reviews, but this one was earned. 10 out of 10. We can't wait to come back next year and see Nicole, Brianna, and Joe again. Thank you all for making our jet lag a little more bearable!

I don't know that we would have gotten in otherwise, as it was 7:00pm and packed. Service was great but not obtrusive. We ordered a bottle of wine (I mistakenly thought it was 1/2 price wine night but it turns out I can't read my calendar) but it wasn't too expensive, and was a nice start for a meal with a friend I haven't seen in 30 years. We both ordered the Duck Fried Rice - me because it's what everyone told me I needed to do and he ordered it because he's had it several times and loves it. The restaurant is small, and in a strip mall with a tiny sign that is easy to miss. It's nice inside, and I wasn't crowded but there aren't many tables. A bit expensive for the portion size, but it was fantastic and worth it. Highly recommend.

I'm gonna give three stars because the service was great at the bar and the server was attentive outside and quick although she didn't know the menu well. I ordered the cheese plate to split with my children and no one knew what was on it when I asked, but I was later informed that I got a tomato jelly and honey mustard as the sauces. To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. There was no way it was a cheddar it was a very soft cheese. I believe it was a goat cheese. The almonds were probably the best part of the whole platter. My husband got wings, which were very big. He enjoyed those and the sauce, and my other daughter got meatballs, which she enjoyed, but thought they were a little spicy, I find that usually when kids order things that are spicy servers will say just so you know that has a little bit of heat to it to which the waitress did not again, I don't think she was very knowledgeable on the menu in general .
