I don't usually leave reviews, but this place stood out. 21 Degree Cigar Bar is one of those spots you walk into and immediately feel comfortable. Good setup, laid back, and just an easy place to hang out for a while. What really makes it though is the guy behind the bar, Joshua. He's got a ton of knowledge on cigars and bourbon, but more importantly, he treats you like you've been friends for 20 years. No pressure, no ego--just good conversation and solid recommendations. You can tell Josh actually enjoys what he's doing, and it shows. Great humidor, strong bourbon selection, and an overall vibe that keeps you there longer than you planned. Walked in on a busy Friday evening to purchase a few cigars as Father's Day gift. The young man behind the counter/bar switched gears from enthusiastic, busy bartender to patient, helpful cigar expert. He guided me into the humidor, asked a few questions and then selected cigars for me. Even as busy as the bar was, he packaged them up in a box with cedar and humidor packs, and polished up the box. Do you like cigars! I certainly enjoy a good cigar every now and then! This is one of the nicer cigar lounges I've seen or been in since moving to Arizona. Not only do they have a nice selection of cigars, but they also have a nice whiskey bar and lounge where you can smoke your cigar and enjoy a nice glass of select whiskies. This is the perfect spot I can bring my buddies to after a round of golf. They have free pizzas on Fridays as well. I ended up buying a couple each of medium bodied Rocky Patels', Arturo Fuentes', and Casa Cubas'! I usually pull a couple out of my humidor during a round of golf. I can't wait to try the Casa Cubas' since I've never smoked those before. Fake Cohiba cigars ar $20 a pop...... come on. My wife bought me 4 "Cuban" Cohibas for my B day and they not only were totally fraudulent but smelled bad and smoked bad. The owner told her they were genuine. I travel to Europe each year and know a real Cohiba when I smoke one. So be warned about this place. read more

This is officially my favorite Cigar bar. I've been here three times and each visit out-does the previous. I've met some of the coolest and down-to-earth people while visiting and smoking a good stogie. I brought my cousin here as it was his first time visiting Phoenix/Scottsdale. Awesome place with a lot of relaxed indoor smoking space. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly. They feature a decent selection of high-quality beers as well as a few wines. The humidor is very nicely arranged and easy to browse through. They have excellent air filters, so even your non-smoking friends may find it acceptable to hang out in here for a few beers. I'm new to Arizona and moved just a couple miles from here. I did not have a good cigar lounge near my home in Ohio but frequented one near my workplace. Well I finally got to 21* Cigar Lounge. It's way better than I expected. First off they have a nice TV lounge with with probably 20 black leather chairs broadcasting on two high def TV's. A third TV is turned off. It Is showing FoxNews on the main screen and the summer Olympics without sound on the side screen. There's about 6 guys in here now and half of us are on our computers working (and writing Yelp reviews). There is a bar in front with several other men and a couple women. It's a very relaxed vibe. It's a good spot to smoke and do some work. They have free wifi (password here is cigar21az use the 21WIFI option). Enjoy. read more

I visited this location while out of town for work - I was picking up some cigars to share with customers the next day while golfing. I was greeted immediately upon entry even though there were a lot of customers there enjoying cocktails. The humidor was well stocked with great selection. I found my usual favorite DS and picked up a few that I have not had before. I only wish i would have had time to light one up with a couple of beers while there. The person working was very friendly and helpful. The only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the level of smoke in the facility. I have been to many cigar bars of all different sizes. This one did not have great ventilation - even though i was in there no more than 5-10 minutes, my clothes smelled all day. I have been to places where i have stayed for hours enjoying a beer and cigar and didn't come away smelling as strong. That said, I will be back here the next time I am in Phoenix! read more

I use the Google while I was at the Grand Canyon. I was visiting my Mom and Dad and we were heading to Phoenix. I found 21 degrees Cigars and thought this place looks amazing. They didn't disappoint at all. Rick which greeted my Dad and I and showed us around and showed us one of his top selling cigars. We picked outed our cigars and I ask if they made whiskey sours they didn't but he offered the house made old fashion. The lounge was very clean and the chairs were comfortable. The ventilation in the room was awesome too. If you are ever in Scottsdale go over there have a drink and a cigar. Say hi to Rick and enjoy. read more

Really horrible customer service. Not sure if the owner sold to a new one. I bought a cigar from them, and it had mold all over it. I spoke with the lady over the phone she apologized and said to bring it in. I bring it in and the lady claims I was lying and that never happened. Haha. Where to begin? Mold/plume in the humidor and clearly visible on cigars. This is an indicator that the owners don't care about quality. Mold is a hard no and non-starter. Next, is pricing. Expect to pay at least 10% more than other nearby lounges. Do not come here expecting market prices. You are buying moldy cigars at a premium. Last, ownership likes to espouse personal political beliefs to patrons. They assume all patrons share their beliefs. While business owners are free to do this they should be aware that there are consequences and that customers will be driven away. Expect Fox News on all TVs and older MAGA type crowd for the most part. Also, please be aware of very poor ventilation and cooling. Upon leaving the lounge you will reek of cigar smoke. In the end, there are FAR better lounges with far better inventory, selection, and prices. And, no mold!! Plus, I've found other lounges to have much better regulars -- very friendly and inviting compared to MAGA HQ found at 21 Degrees. read more

Really good cigar lounge. The drink pour is modest and not cheap, the cigar availability is descent, don't have davidoff though. Layout is a little narrow, but that's the way it's built between the bar and the sit down lounge. It's a perfect chill spot. Service is excellent. read more

Just can't bring myself to rate this business more than one star after seeing the multitude of fake Cuban cigars they were trying to sell me. If they'll do that with cigars, what would stop them from doing it with liquor? This place has pluses and minuses. My current favorite cigar is available here. I enjoyed one this afternoon along with a Manhattan my wife had a real coke. We are visitors so not as well known to most of the staff. The lounge is nice with comfortable chairs and it is well ventilated. There are several screens around the walls. Viewers were ahead of us and they had a televised auto race turned up very loud which made conversation difficult. Normally Sundays have been backed by quiet baseball or football games. We will return before going home. It has a good cigar inventory and decent wine, beer and spirits selection. read more

I went to this lounge this morning. I arrive and the two customers and the employee at the register ( all older men) turn their heads and give me funny looks. I walk up and ask if they had a specific cigar brand. The reply, they are labeled in the humidor. I end up not finding it. I ask if he has any similar to it in fullness and flavor, the reply would have been better with no reply. O just grab one and site down and smoked it and left. I felt like these gentleman felt that a 25 man was two young for their lounge. I felt unwelcome, and out of place. Poor service. Poor atmosphere. read more

The cigar selection is killer. Unfortunately, the owner doesn't seem to mind if he alienates his customers. I went in to stock up, wearing a mask. The owner wasn't wearing a mask, which was fine, until he told me how stupid he thinks masks are. So now I'm the dumb guy. He follows that up by telling me how bad the state of affairs is in my hometown--1300 miles away. I tried to talk to him about that, but he wouldn't budge, because he saw it on TV.
